The palace is an amazing place, at least from the outside. Unfortunately it was completely burnt down during the long siege in WWII. Museums and library inside but the promenade offers a superb view.

The Austrian fort, you have to pay an entrance and the places are overpriced. So it might be better if you just simply take the stairs to the Szabadság statu from the other side.
