Hiking

We've listed a few hikes below. All trails website and the Granby Ranch map guide have an extensive list as well. Monarch Lake Loop Trail- Beautiful trail for all skill levels. Great for SUP and paddling. Perfect hike for young families. The trail is 4.2 miles however the full loop isn't a must. Strawberry Lake- 3.7 mile moderate skill level hike. Beautiful wild flowers and primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching. Granby Ranch Fraser Canyon Trail- Starting at Granby Ranch base camp a moderate hike 9.1 mi out and back that offers the chance to see wildlife

Skiing/Tubing

Granby Ranch is an excellent choice for beginning skiers, young families or wanting to avoid large crowds. Winter Park is excellent for world class skiing. Both Granby and winter Park area have great tubing options as well. Ski Rental- Granby Ranch Ski Resorts Rentals-You can reserve them easily online. Lakes

There are three large lakes a short drive from Granby Greene with multiple activities available. Grand Lake-ample room for boating, paddle sports, fishing and more. Amazing view of Rocky Mountain National Park. Lake Granby- Located on the Colorado River, just 5 miles outside of the town of Granby. 7,256 surface acres, and is the third largest body of water in Colorado. The lake offers 40 miles of shoreline. Monarch Lake- Beautiful day hike, paddle sports and picnics. Shadow Mountain Lake-Connects to grand lake through a channel. Great for boating, fishing, and paddle sports.
