Sightseeing

This is a natural stream that cuts across Edinburgh. A nice little stretch of it to explore a walk from Dean’s Village (very cool spot) and walk to Stockbridge.

It’s a very short and easy walk to the top of the hill (takes about 10 minutes). It is a really nice place with 360 degree views of the city and the ocean. It is also nice for sunsets.

This is a lake in the centre of the Pentland hills. The air is fresh and the views are on par with some of the views we have seen in the Highlands. The bus 44 to Balerno will take you very close and you can walk the rest of the way.

Food scene

Very pleasant high street with nice places to eat. I love Artisan Roast (the best coffee I’ve had in Edinburgh), Soderberg and Fortitude.

The coffee is sure to wake you up. Expert baristas and really solid filter coffee. Don't forget to greet the resident dog Bear.

Delicious and unique Parsi South Asian cuisine. One of my favourite places to eat in Edinburgh. Try to get a table with a view of St Andrew square.
