Traveler advice

What to pack

Leave the heels at home!

Rural property meant for nature walks, hikes and fishing. We live off a dirt road and have a dirt / gravel driveway. 20 minutes from downtown Sandpoint but the town is not “fancy,” either.
Getting around

4-wheel drive needed

If you are traveling in the Winter months, you must have 4-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle. We have a little bridge that looks scary the first time you approach it but I assure you it gets easy and is super safe! We have a local speed limit of 10MPH to protect our road from potholes. The residents maintain it with annual grading, gravel and the like, including seasonal snowplowing.
Traveling with kids

Ideal for kids 3 and up!

We have so many toys, a trampoline, and even kid fishing rods. You won’t need to bring much. The loft bed downstairs is meant for a kiddo 6 and up who can use a ladder easily.
