My Favorite Lunch & Dinner Spots

This local favorite serves farm-to-table fare, and all the farms are local to North Carolina! Some dishes are so popular they haven’t changed in 20+ years - try the salmon! There’s also a nice garden/patio/fire pit outside - great spot for a drink. Make sure you book a reservation ahead of time, as this place is very popular.

This place is such a little gem. Fancier than your average lunch/dinner spot in Southern Pines, but the drinks and delicious food are totally worth the price. If it’s a nice day, enjoy the outdoor screened-in patio!

We love this place! Especially the patio on a beautiful day. The inside has a nice atmosphere too. All the food is delicious - very tasty and colorful compared to what you think you’re going to get at a pub!

Brews and BBQ “crafted with pride in the historic village of Pinehurst.” The brewery sits in an old steam plant which gives it a cool industrial vibe, but very warm & friendly too!

Coffee, Breakfast, Brunch

Yummy breakfast spot; their homemade scones are a must-try! They make several different flavors starting at 5am daily, so they’re always fresh, soft, and delicious.

Neighborhoods

Stroll through the quaint and historic Village of Pinehurst. There are three small streets (very walkable) with restaurants, shops, ice cream, bars - it’s a small town but you can find everything you’re looking for in one spot! Check out the Pinehurst Olive Oil Company or have lunch at the historic Holly Inn hotel. Charming!

Stroll the two main streets of Southern Pines - full of restaurants & shops, situated on either side of the railroad tracks! Fun fact: the local home store Lavender Restyle Market was featured on HGTV! Tip: there’s a restroom in the central train station.
