Great for take-out seafood. Call ahead to order either a full take out meal, or lobsters, clams, or fish to take bake to the boathouse. If you order lobsters or clams, ask them to cook them for you - much easier to have them cook the seafood at there location.

Traveler advice

Don't miss

Fishing

Long Pond is stocked in the spring and fall with Rainbow Trout, Brook Trout, Brown Trout, and (when available) Tiger Trout. Trout fishing is good in the spring and fall with holdover trout taken during the summer, it produces large trout on a regular basis, and there is a potential for trophies (browns to 14 pounds have been taken here). Trolling generally produces most of the large holdover trout, although shore fishermen regularly take their share as wading fishermen will find plenty of areas to fish. Summer trout water is located at 30 to 60 feet.
