Modern museum of Acropolis, very well put together and a perfect pairing with the Acropolis itself across the road from it.

The "birth place of democracy". This is in the Philopappou hill across from Acropolis which is worth exploring also gives you views to the port of Piraeus

Koukaki is full of life, bars, restaurants, and tavernas. It is popular with locals and those who know the city a bit more.

Traveler advice

Getting around

Enjoy a walk, but can also use Metro/Taxis

The apartment is ideally placed for sightseeing on foot. Metro is very good (and mostly) new and Metro stations are nearby. Taxis are relatively cheap but can be a bit of an "experience" depending on driver?
