Handa is a stunning Island on the West Coast of Scotland. It takes just over two hours to reach the ferry port - the ferry runs through out the day over the summer and only takes 10 minutes to reach the island. Handa is home to all kinds of wildlife including many seabirds such as puffins and great skuas. The drive there is stunning too!

RSPB Loch Garten sits within the Abernethy Forest which is part of the Cairngorm National Park. There's a beautiful loch and forest walks. The centre currently has a camera on a white-tailed sea eagle nest. In the winter there's the chance to spot crested tits.

Loch Ness is close to The Drey. It's possible to drive around it or to go on boat trips to see the views and wildlife. There are a couple of museums and plenty of places to eat and drink in the villages on its shores.
