Polkerris Beach is around 10 minutes drive from the house. A sheltered, sandy beach popular with families it has a beach cafe, "Sams on the Beach" restaurant and "The Rashleigh Inn" pub. Wetsuit and water activity equipment available to hire. You can walk here from the house along the coastal path (approx 4.5 miles) and take a shorter route (2 miles) back.

Sandy/pebble cove which is always quiet even in high season as it can only be reached by walking due to there being no car parking available. A walk inland from Caerhayes and back along the coastal path is highly recommended. No facilities so take a picnic!
