Sweet harbour village with interesting shore line around an old ruined castle. The signs on the road in proclaim that Outlander was filmed here. Also some great views over to Arran and the Mull of Kintyre from here. And terrific sunsets. As always in western Scotland.

The original 1973 film The Wicker Man was filmed here - the ancestral home of the Kennedies - the reality is a bit less out there than the film - but still worth spending a few hours wandering the grounds, visiting the art gallery, and taking in the spectacular sea views.
