Islands Brygge is the name of the habor front on Amager (Where the appartment is located) facing the center of Copenhagen. In the summertime you will see lots of people on the grass near the harbour bath barbecuing and sunbathing. If you enjoy the beach vibe, Islands Brygge is the place to be.
Here you can take a swim in the canals, but only in marked areas, such as "Islands Brygge Havnebad" (https://svoemkbh.kk.dk/islands-brygge).

Denmark is know for it's open faced sandwiches, and Aamanns is the best place to try! In addition, you can get homemade danish snaps (although, i personally i'm not a fan - but a lot of danes have it for luch for easter and christmas)

Another of my farvourite running routes. This route takes you around Christianshavns volde (Approx. 3 or 5 kilometers) or you can go a little bit further (10 K i total) and see Christania.
