Middleburg makes for a great day trip, it's a longer country drive if you head out through the Plains and offers some nice shops and a few restaurants .
The Red Fox is very nice and in the higher price range but great for a very special occasion.

Awesome bucket list destination but also one that you may want to just stay at the Inn to savor the multi course meal . It's an experience of getting served like royalty and there is so much food that you won't feel like driving much. With that said you won't find a place to stay there for the cost of our place so if you want to splurge on the fantastic meal experience and drive back to our Country Retreat it's only about 40 minute drive.
