Okami Japanese Restaurant. We enjoy going to this restaurant good value.
This Maccas is close to home on the same side of the road on your way in to town and has plenty of parking.
There are all the usual food outlets in Dubbo so take your pick.
If you like something that is not so casual eg a restaurant then Reflections is close to home has nice food a clean kitchen and good staff.
Veldt is also a bit of a favorite but you do need to book, great food we go there if it is a bit more of a special occasion.
There are several other places just ask us on arrival for our personal favourites

Close to home, is very informative and their are several telescopes for star viewing on a clear night it is worth a visit. You have to get your tickets on line. Of course if it is a clear night you can just stay home and enjoy our own little patch of sky including the Milky Way for free but without the commentary.
RFDS the new visitor centre is terrific and the cafe is good and so is the souvenir shop. If you have the time then it is well worth a visit.
