Sightseeing
If you love a hike, love historical sites, including where a sitting Prime Minister disappeared, love a view and particularly love it all for free, this is the place for you. There is a bit of walking involved if you want to see it all but a free shuttle bus can take you straight to Fort Nepean, missing out all the sites in between. You can also hire bikes at the quarantine station which makes the trip easier. A great half day out.

This place is well worth a visit..... awesome views especially on a clear night to watch the sunset crystal clear waters and sandy beaches, great to just relax or go for a walk. You can access the views by a short walk from the free carpark.

Market
Great to visit on your way out to Fort Nepean. However the quarantine station is also used for market stalls. The Portsea Market is in a truly beautiful location. In the grounds of the historic Quarantine Station, the stalls are under and wind through the local vegetation - largely tea tree - and are just metres from the pristine Port Phillip Bay waters at the western end of the Mornington Peninsula.

Winery
We loved their wines and nothing better than having their tasting share plates on their sunny deck.
Nice, secluded boutique winery. Then staff are fantastic and its great to be served by and chat to the winemaker.
Recommend it for a genuine, local, quiet experience with good service and wines.

Drinks with Friends
I would definitely recommend Hotel Sorrento for drinks. We have spent many afternoons (and into the evening) having drinks at the main bar and at Salt. However, I would not recommend for a meal just drinks. The lawn area is a great spot on sunny days

Place to visit
From beginning to end you will love the experience at the Springs. The pools are so relaxing with lovely outlooks, the food is superb and best of all the staff are wonderful. They make the experience all the better because of their friendly yet have a very professional manner. Would highly recommend this to anyone!
