Wheal Coates is one of the Cornish mining sites which has UNESCO World Heritage status and one of our favourite places to visit Wheal Coates is a former tin mine situated on the north coast of Cornwall, UK, on the cliff tops between Porthtowan and St Agnes. It is preserved and maintained by the National Trust. A must visit!
