Sightseeing

#1 Picnic destination with a nice shelter from the sun - only accessible by boat and a great "once in a lifetime" experience. A leisurely 30 minute self-guided walking tour of funky rock sculptures created by Mr. Ellsworth over a span of 25+ years. There is a large grassy lawn area perfect for Frisbee and playing catch with your ball of choice too. Beautiful in all seasons, the fall colors and maple leaves are stunning.

Bring your camera - This is a quick and easy walk for the best view of Lake Kabetogama! It's considered handi-cap accessible and nice for families with young children too. There is one bench at the viewing area (and a bathroom at the parking lot). For those that have more time, do the full Blind Ash trail loop with the trail head that starts at the parking lot (or spur off the overlook). It's one of the best hikes with a lake view in the National Park.
