A staple in Durango, Carvers is a great spot all day long as their beer is killer and the lunch/dinner menu quite good as well.

A more upscale experience, El Moro is a great option for any meal and is definitely finer dining than the traditions breakfast joint. Dinner is fantastic as well. Try the bone marrow appetizer if it happens to be on the menu!

Steamworks is a staple of Durango as much as the Narrow Gauge Train is. Great beer, great pizza, great salads, heck… great everything. There is a reason it is nearly always packed. It is not unusual to find a 45min wait on a non-weekend day for a reason. Put your name in early then cruise through town to check out a few spots you missed on your walk earlier in the day.
