Tour the WWII-era aircraft carrier that was later used to recover the Apollo 11 and Apollo 12 astronauts as they returned from the moon. The Hornet's namesake, USS Hornet (CV-8), left from these docks in 1942 carrying the bombers that retaliated against Tokyo for the raid on Pearl Harbor.
