our favourite places to eat

here are some great pubs/restaurants to eat in. it is hard to get a bad meal in this area.
This is the best pub in the area on a beautiful village green with swings. Old fashioned but bang on trend at the same time. Run by a delightful couple. Mention my name, Iona, if you book and you may get served first!!!

Sightseeing

The former home of Winston Churchill, this is the most beautiful palace that you need to see. Wonderful gardens, a maze, playground for children and even a butterfly house. A must.

Quite expensive to get in but as soon as you start walking round you realise why. Animals from all over the world kept in lovely conditions roaming all around you. Small steam train journey through it all which the children love too. Food hall there with takeaway picnics you can eat on the lawn plus hot food.
