Traveler advice

What to pack

Bring some fruit to eat, water and a pair of sea shoes

The weather is very hot here, especially in summer. Keeping hydrated is a must. The best combination we've found is to put a couple of bottles of water in the freezer the day before and then bring them to the beach, along with a watermelon / melon. Freezing the bottles will ensure they'll stay fresh all day.
Getting around

Best time to go to the beach is after 5 p.m.

Because you tan easily without getting sunburnt and there are (usually) less people in the beach.
Don't miss

Eating a pizza on the beach

Sardinia is still one of the few places where you can enjoy a pizza on the beach with friends, after the sun set. Just go ask the local "baracchino" on the beach for nearby Pizzerias who can bring pizza to you on the beach and then enjoy the experience
