My favorite bar on Tejon St. Neat Irish style pub, great live shows. A bit of a jaunt, but definitely walk-able . There are probably a dozen other bars within a couple block of this one, Including several that are near or on Costilla St., which is a direct shot back to the Studio.

Parks & Nature

After you visit the falls, go up the road to the dirt parking lot that is at the end of road. From this parking lot, you can take High Road (only if you are comfortable driving on dirt/gravel roads). It's a one way road from the parking lot, and it will drop you down into the Bear Creek drainage. After you get on the downhill side, and after the switchbacks, you'll hit the creek. Park here, and hike up the creek, it's an amazing place to hike.

Entomological museum, assembled by the late John May, a world traveler in the early half of the 20th century. This old privately ran museum is a must for anyone who enjoys bugs and spiders, a must see and definitley on a kind place in a beautiful setting slightly sw of COS.

If you have time to take a drive, this is an unbelievable sight to see. One man built a castle in the mountains south of COS, it's amazing. You could hit the May (bug) Museum on the way down as well.
