The Loft

Lovely little cottage on a sheep farm. We only stayed one night on our way through but would have been nice for a weekend getaway etc. Very friendly dogs and our little one enjoyed spotting the sheep and cows in the paddocks.

Traditional Irish / Country farmhouse in Southeast

ShazzarinaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
What a delightful cottage! We’re a family of 7 and the house has plenty of room for everyone. It’s a deceptively spacious house. Catherine and Jessica were very responsive and very thoughtful. The fridge and pantry had goodies, the crockery VERY clean, and everyone’s favourite—the toiletries supplied were top notch. My kids really enjoyed the high beds 😅 which were well made and comfortable. We’ll be back if we’re visiting around the area. I put 3 stars in terms of location because I can just imagine people who are not used to Irish countryside roads can freak out a bit with trying to find the house (especially if stuck behind a tractor or driving at night). It wasn’t a problem for us as we live in a similar setting in Cork. Lovely house, Catherine!
A sandy beach scene is depicted with gentle waves lapping at the shore. A shallow stream of water meanders towards the ocean, with a few individuals visible in the distance enjoying the space. Soft, fluffy clouds drift across a bright sky, adding to the serene atmosphere.

Jardiners Cottage

Andrew and Ethel’s place was a great place for our family for our week and a half long stay. We booked last minute and they were very accommodating. The house is private yet only a few minute drive into town. The kitchen was functional. The bathrooms were clean and water was warm. There is an incredible view to the hills and cows which my children loved. There is laundry onsite which was a lovely bonus. Overall, it was exactly what we needed.
