We loved this little spot! It is tiny and perfect. Tastefully decorated and full of many extras in the kitchen, which we wish were included in every Airbnb. Gorgeous view, private and comfortable. Jason was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We wouldn’t hesitate to rebook.

The Lily Pad was everything we’d hoped for and more! Perfect weekend getaway with our pup. I highly recommend and we’re hoping to be back soon!

I cannot use enough words to describe how awesome this place was. I had great expectations based on the listing, but they were surpassed when I arrived. I think when the concept of Airbnb was thought of, this matches the model!

What an amazing place. Very few homes have made me feel as comfortable, relaxed and energized ! Great local hiking trails, FULLY equipped kitchen which was a dream to cook in. I’m usually not a fan of shower stalls, but that shower is a DREAM. Our pups were so happy! We had the best vacation and would go back anytime. I’m sure this will be a hard spot to book because it’s so great. THANK YOU!

This spot is amazing! We got to meet the hosts - lovely folks. Beautiful view. Nicely decorated and organized. So many thoughtful touches in Mama’s Lily Pad. We especially loved the beautiful dishes and mugs! The kitchen is wonderfully equipped. Bed was comfortable. Very cozy!

This cottage is perfect for those that love rustic with all the mod cons. It’s delightful and I was so excited to have the views and water as my Tv, as well as the rare chance to stay in a place this old and charming. Jay and G are delightful people, helpful and respectful.

Wonderful quite place and perfect hosts.

We had a lovely stay at the Wee Craegan cottage. Pam and Mike were super friendly and helpful and very responsive to our questions. The cottage is really sweet, cozy, clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The bed is really comfy! Two things to note were that the neighbours are pretty close by (Mike and Pam are on one side) so it wasn't quite as secluded as I'd imagined. And the ceilings in the loft are low and probably not ideal for someone who's tall (I'm 5' 6" and had to duck at certain spots). Neither of these things impacted our stay negatively (we had a lovely time and would stay here again) but I always find this kind of feedback helpful so I'm sharing it.

The Wee Craegan is a great spot for a quiet getaway for two. Its very cozy and quiet but still has all the amenities you need. Its also close to Bridgetown and all that the valley has to offer if you need anything. My partner and I are already want to go back next year.

The Wee Craegan is a peaceful little space that is perfect for couples or single people that are looking for a quiet getaway away from technology and life in the city. My favourite parts of my stay were reading by the lake while listening to the loons call at sunset and eating breakfast that we picked up from a little café nearby on the back deck with my partner.

Stunningly beautiful location. The waterfront views are just beautiful. The lake is clean and warm for swimming. Not too busy either. The property has trees on both sides, which helps with privacy.

Amazing views at this quaint cottage. Clean, well equipped for all your needs. Hosts are right next door if you need anything, yet are not a bother. We fell in love with "the wee craegen" its definitely a couples retreat! ......Keep in mind when booking that this cottage has a loft bedroom! ( not suitable for persons with mobile limitations ) Views from loft are great! Coffee in the morning on back deck or lakeside listening to the birds and loons! Canoe available for use as well as firewood supplied for fire pit. Pam & Mike have also prepared a great binder of places to go and see, with maps! Super Host's indeed!

Beautiful stay. I stayed in the Lily Pad place instead of my booking at their other AirBNB due to renovations . The LilyPad is well stocked with anything you may need to cook a few meals, extra bathroom amenities, great wifi and some very thoughtful touches to make me feel welcome. It has a stunning view and a nice chunk of backyard. It has all the modern things you need to make life easy while maintaining the charm and beauty of an old home.

Old world charm with modern amenities. Jay more than accommodated us when he allowed us to check in 3 days earlier even though he was renovating next door. As he felt we wouldn’t have the best stay under those circumstances, he upgraded us by moving us to his other rental property. My husband especially enjoyed the terrific view of the basin and the daily flow of the tide. Lily Pad included a spacious kitchen with a large island. Jay stocked cupboards and the fridge with many complimentary items. The espresso machine was a much appreciated addition. Overall, we enjoyed our stay immensely. Thanks Jay!

Jay's place is great! Conveniently located across from Annapolis Royal. Found lots of sea glass at Victoria Beach.

Jay’s place was great! We were in the Valley for a wedding and it was such an excellent location. The place is very clean, nicely decorated, and very cozy. I loved the little gas fireplace in the bedroom. We had a great weekend there and would definitely go back for a longer stay!

Mama’s Waterfront cute Bachelor is exactly what it is. Quaint, cute, comfortable and clean with all you need for kitchen amenities. Jay is friendly and welcoming. It was close to town and easy to find. We recommend this unit for short stays. If we come back for a visit we will definitely return.

Great weekend getaway!

Best Airbnb experience I have had to date. If you're looking an escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life, this is it! Marty was beyond hospital and took great care of us. The views were absolutely astonishing. We got to have a campfire, a warm shower, a fantastic sleep and there were plenty of options to bring food and cook at the Airbnb if we wanted to. If I could rate this Airbnb, I would give it a 25/10 for the view and hospitality alone. Sunset before our fire and the most amazing sunrise this morning was absolutely everything. It was the highlight of our little getaway weekend from Halifax! We will absolutely be back!

Mike went above and beyond, technical difficulties with a water pump, was not going to stop Nova Scotian hospitality. It was all fixed by the time we drove up. He offered us the opportunity to find another place, gracious to the end. We loved the place, the area, the colours. What can be better than the fall colours in the Maritime. Driving around we came across beautiful scenery, history, great antique stores. Short drive to Fundy Bay. Would go back in a heartbeat

We stayed here for 2 nights. This place has filled up with every essential thing. Heating system was amazing. House was very spacious. Location was quite and serine. Everything was neat and clean. Derek was a great host and Breezy Bay Cottage was a wonderful place to stay on the Bay of Fundy. The cottage is very clean and comfortable with a great sunporch. It was a perfect home base for visits to Annapolis Royal and the Annapolis Valley. (Check out Shakes on Main in Lawrencetown for a super breakfast and Hampton for a walk on the beach!) We hope to stay at Breezy Bay Cottage next time we go to the Fundy shore.

Natalia and Dave were amazing hosts that made us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we walked in the door. We thoroughly enjoyed their beautiful surroundings and the wonderful breakfast they provided us every morning. Was such a wonderful place to stay! We were able to watch the sunrise from the bed and Natalia was so hospitable! We couldn't have asked for a better stay :) She gave us wonderful suggestions of places to visit and made a wonderful breakfast! It's a beautiful home and would definitely stay again.

Natalia and Dave are the most wonderful hosts. If you're lucky enough to hear Dave play the guitar you're in for a treat! Natalia will always prepare a fun but delicious breakfast that will leave you wanting more. I was a little worried about being in a room and having shared space but it really was a great stay. Great place to stay - highly recommend

Natalia was an outstanding host! You can tell she takes great pride in being a host and has an eye for detail. Her home is located near most amenities and, although we stayed in December, you will enjoy an amazing view as you enjoy your morning coffee in the garden during the summer!

Natalia's place is a lovely self-contained space within her beautiful home. It has awesome scenery,a splendid sunrise. The room and bath were sparkling clean;and and all amenities were provided. The gourmet breakfast was delicious,locally sourced food...apple cider drink,jams..I would highly recommend Natalia's and Dave 's lovely home if you are looking for a jumping off point to explore Annapolis Royal and adjacent villages and towns..

This property left me 100% satisfied. The communication with the owners was very friendly and prompt. The access and check in was so easy. The property was very clean and well maintained inside and out. This property is within walking distance to everything Annapolis Royal has to offer. I stayed at this property for 3 nights as I was traveling for work. I will be sure to use this Air BnB as long as it is available for all of my trips to Annapolis. I highly recommend this rental.

Great spot to stay

Angela is a great host. Our little guy loved the play room with plenty of toys, and the playground right across from the house. Nice grill in the backyard. It was a complete house with everything we needed, really! Would stay here again.

A lovely historic house right in the centre of Annapolis Royal. The house has real character and comfort, within easy walking distance of everything Annapolis Royal has to offer. Angela was a great host and kept in touch before and after to make sure everything was okay (we stayed one week after the hurricane so this was especially welcome). The house is ‘fully equipped’ with washing machine, two bathrooms, good WiFi, and Netflix access (account or extra payment required).

Great place to stay. Roomy and bright. Excellent location close to everything.

I stayed 3 nights at Angela's Riverhouse and loved the house. The location was great for exploring the town and close to places to eat and shop. It was centrally located for visiting the area. Everything was clean and well kept. If traveling with a family there were plenty of games and other things to do in the house if you happen to have a rainy day. The towels were plush and the bed I used was very comfortable. The jam that Angela left me was delicious and gave me something to eat in the mornings before venturing out. There are two smaller grocery stores nearby, one even walkable, if you need to pick up any supplies. The internet access was also great. Having the back yard was nice also and I even had a short visit from Snow one of the local cats which I enjoyed. I would recommend this rental to anyone visiting the area.

A great place if you just want to relax. Good food around and close to Annapolis Royal and the whole Bay of Fundy. Glen is a great host.

GIen's house is very warm, comfortable and homely. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook for yourself. The shortcoming is that it is far from the town, so you must buy food before you go in. There is no toiletries, hair dryer, the mobile phone signal is weak, you can't contact the outside world.

A beautiful little house that sits perfectly in the rustic bay side fishing village in which it’s located. Glen is a wonderful host and although I didn’t get to meet him in person, he was meticulous in his preparation of the house to give me the best Airbnb experience. This is just the place to stay (with everything one needs available) for a quiet seaside holiday within easy driving distance of Annapolis Royal. I slept well in the quaint single room and enjoyed relaxing evenings in this charming and beautifully furnished older home in a rural area.

Glen’s home has everything you could possibly need for a cozy stay on the coast! There is a sweet deck on the back of the house overlooking a little garden, and when the fog lifts, a view out to the water from the kitchen window. This would be an ideal place to come with family or friends and to rent all the rooms simultaneously (there are 3) as you also have access to living, dining room, den, sunrooms, and full kitchen! I felt extremely well cared for while there, and Glen even came to my rescue in the middle of the night when the fire alarm sounded due to low battery. I would happily return if back in the area. Thanks again, Glen!

This beautiful little cabin was perfect for our weekend winter getaway. Nice and quiet, just off the beaten path, and within a short drive to Annapolis Royal. We enjoyed several hikes and walks, as well as the experiences in town. His cabin, right on the river, and with stairs' access down to the water. Will definitely have to make a return trip in the summer!

Fantastic get away in a beautiful spot! Jeremy is a super host and it definitely shows, he provides excellent attention to detail (local apple cider in ice ready to go, local bacon and free range eggs for breakfast and a Christmas tree all set up). He is also great at providing recommendations and local must-sees/dos. We will definitely be back!

The cabin is comfortable but rustic. Lots of privacy, a great deck for eating out, and a nice path through the woods and down over the stairs to the water. There aren't many walks from the cabin, but it's well located for exploring (by car) the nearby town of Annapolis Royal (5 minutes away) and many wonderful parks, hiking trails, fishing villages and lovely waterside towns all along the coasts of Nova Scotia.

Excellent and attentive hosts in a comfortable and relaxing setting. What more could anyone want? In the last year my wife and I have stayed here on three occasions (the last time during extra tropical storm Dorian - where we were as snug as bugs!). We are looking forward to our fourth upcoming trip in November! We find Jeremy's cabin a great place to stay when we visit Annapolis Royal (where we are treated to wonderful venues at the King's Theatre) and the Historical Gardens while touring the surrounding area. :)

Just fabulous Jeremy make our trip perfect. The cabin is clean and well located. The bed is very comfortable and you have everything fresh for breakfast eggs, bacon and blueberry. Don’t hesitate to make Jeremy’s place, your choice and you will enjoy it!

This little gem is fantastic for people wanting a combination of a private, peaceful place with all the local attractions and history. Located close enough to Annapolis Royal and Port Royal to be able to easily enjoy both, this place gives fantastic access, but still feels like your own private, personal nook. The access to the owners antique shop is a bonus too. All in all my stay here was just perfect.

Cliff and Carla’s place is so lovely! Its a short drive from Annapolis Royal and perfectly situated for sightseeing in the area. Cliff and Carla were very responsive hosts! The space is wonderfully furnished (thanks to Carla’s eye for antiques!) and there is everything you need. The stocked fridge for a wonderful breakfast was a real treat! Thank you both. We certainly hope to return one day.

We were at Carla’s lovely place during hurricane Dorian! We felt snug and secure. Our hosts welcomed us with fabulous ingredients for our breakfast and made us feel very much at home.

Quaint and quiet. The decor is super cute and cozy. It only has one bedroom with a double bed, but the type of sofa in the Liv ng room made for a comfortable cot. I slept in it no problem. It would have to be a maximum of three guests with two comfortable sharing a bed. Loved this place and would definately go back! Thaks Cliff and Carla!!

Lovely old farmhouse with huge yard. Big comfortable rooms, and I enjoyed the variety of their travelled who were there the same night as I was.

Parker’s cove is a quaint fishing community. Glen was an excellent host, communicated quickly, provided detailed directions. Very homey quaint little cottage that is kept very clean and orderly The view from the road coming into the community from the mountain top is worth every penny.

We didn't get to meet in person, but we felt welcomed and greatly appreciated the multiple breakfast options Glen had left at our disposal. The cottage has a traditional feel to it, yet has all the essential amenities you need for a pleasant stay. Would stay again!

My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay at Glen’s house. Very clean, quiet, and cozy. A quick walk down to the picturesque harbour, and a short drive to Annapolis Royal.

Glen is an outstanding host that really cares for his guests. His detailed instructions on how to reach his place are invaluable as Google sends you to the wrong place. The house is sparklingly clean and huge for the meagre amount he charges. It sits in a very quiet plot with views of the Bay of Fundy and within easy access to any local attraction. Speaking of which, Glen keeps the house supplied with an immense collection of local flyers and information about anything worth visiting in the area. If you expect a brand new modern lodging you are in the wrong place. His is a charming old house and with that comes some quirks that you have to accept. The water pressure is not the most powerful but enough to take a comfortable shower. The boiler on the other had is very powerful and bring the house to a warm and toasty temperature with an amazing speed. The Lazy Chair in the living room will make you consider skipping the hike to the upstairs beds and just lay there for the night. All in all you can’t go wrong with this place.

Great place, old and beautiful

This is a remarkable and unique accommodation. As near as we can tell from reading, the main house dates from around 1785. Usually we visit homes like this when they are museums, with strict rules not to touch anything, but here, you stay in a home that Colonel De Lancy built and lived in, and where several of his children were born in the 1780s and 1790s. Most of the main house retains its design and certainly its character, while Sandra has made many modern improvements to make visitors’ stays comfortable. The kitchen has modern appliances and fixtures, as do the three baths. The electricity and lighting clearly have been re-done. As Sandra says, sitting on the front porch overlooking the Annapolis River valley is a delight. She also points out that there is no WiFi in the house, but we found that our wireless signals were completely adequate. Communication with Sandra was easy and welcoming. We really enjoyed staying here.

A character property with a lovely outlook; a getaway from the ordinary.

We totally enjoyed our stay at this magnificent house! Reading the history of the house in the letter left for us added to our stay. Walking into the house feels like taking a step back in time, especially if you grew up around farmhouses. I can't even describe the character this house has. If you want a place to transport you back to a simpler time where you can easily relax, this is the place!! It was refreshing to unplug from TV and social media and instead, watch the stars and be with nature.

If you want to unplug, unwind and spend quality time away from the plugged-in, 24/7 world, this is the place to be.

We have stayed at a lot of lovely airbnb's, but Sandra's house was by far the most unique and special, in light of the history and architecture of the home. How brave of Sandra to take on the job of restoring and renovating this very old house, and renting it out so that others can share and experience this beautiful property. It was built in the 1700's and Sandra left a historical information package in the living room, I stayed up late the first night reading everything. In light of the age of the house, some might find it a bit damp, but as Sandra says in her info pkg, the house may have a few quirks, but that's part of what makes it so fascinating and charming. If you have the opportunity to stay here, you should absolutely take it! Just be careful of the back door lock, it is spring-loaded and will lock automatically behind you unless you push a stopper button on the lock. Thank you Sandra for the privilege of staying in this very special house!

Had a lovely one-night stay at Everett and Sheila's place. There were three of us (one couple, one single person) and even though it's essentially one big room, the space was more than adequate and still felt private. Great location if visiting Annapolis Royal, and great value.

Ideal location for visiting Annapolis Royal, for whale-watching tours and for the beautiful Kejimkujik National Park. We would go back and stay again and again. Very highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay. Pros: great location (easy access to the Atlantic and to town, beautiful views (we took a gazillion pictures), cottage was unique (didn't feel like we were staying in a hotel), helpful hosts (little touches everywhere).

What can I say but STAY HERE! It's a lovely, charming, little bit retro, little bit shabby chic, relaxing space with a beautiful, interesting ever-changing view. Private and quiet. We loved it!

Even though the power went out with the hurricane, we had the best time! Plenty of board games and the view is stunning from the cottage! Valentina was extremely welcoming and even helped us out with feeding us and supplying coffees when the power went out! The cottage is nice and clean, and it's in a nice quiet spot! I would definitely book to go again and would recommend to anyone!

Excellent welcome by hostess. Property is detached and offers lots of space, fully furnished, also large garden and terrace with chairs. Property is along a main road but no traffic noise was encountered at night. For us, the property was a good base for Keji NP (45 min) and whale watching (great excursion) from Brier Island, but carefully planned because of ferries that sail 1x per hour (more often in high season)

This cottage is very special-- the design, both inside and outside, is tasteful and sophisticated, the gardens and trees provide welcoming outdoor space, and the location with a riverfront view is stunning. Allison is a great host!

Alison's bungalow is even nicer than the photos suggest. Located on the edge of the charming village of Granville Ferry (on the road to Port Royal) and just 5 minutes by car by Annapolis Royal, it features a lovely, sweeping view of the Annapolis River as well as beautiful gardens, a roomy deck, and a picnic table under a majestic old tree. The inside is tastefully decorated with an eye to the bungalow's 60s origins and also visitors' comfort (an easy chair, for example, complete with a small table for book and coffee, is positioned in front of a picture window facing the river). The kitchen has everything one might need, including (we discovered because we needed one!) an immersion blender. The beds are supremely comfortable and the walk-in shower fantastic. Alison met us upon arrival, gave us some good tips on the area (for example, chowder at the Crow's Nest in Hilsburn), and dropped by a couple of times to check in. All in all, one of my best (if not the best!) Air BnB experience.

This was a great experience! The cottage across the bay from Annapolis Royal provided wonderful views and grounds with a deck plus seating under the maple tree were perfect. It is only a three minute drive to Annapolis Royal. The house interior was modern and attractive. Allison was the perfect host as she and her husband live next door, but at a distance. I highly recommend this property!

The chalet was a cozy and peaceful place to stay during the holidays. The propane fireplace and jacuzzi tub were great, and a winter hike around the lake was lovely.

Do not underestimate the photos of this little cottage! It is much more than what is pictured: a peaceful, warm retreat into the quiet of the woods and lake. Even with our rubbish weather, we were able to enjoy the hot tub, the heated bathroom floor, a walk in the rain, a canoe ride, and the warmth of the fireplace while doing a puzzle and singing songs. Sonja was extremely quick and kind in her replies and even got the furnace guys to come by to fix it while it unexpectedly stopped working. We had a marvellous and romantic Thanksgiving weekend. Thank you & hope to be back again soon!

This is a fantastic and cozy cottage. It has a shared driveway with another cottage, but you would never know they were there. My wife and I did our honeymoon here and plan on going back again and again.

A must stay if your looking to relax by the water without a single noise but the birds! A nice clean cottage loaded with everything you need for your stay as well as a quick response from Sonja! Will definitely be back!

Quiet and private cabin on a nice little lake. The drive to the cabin was beautiful, with a view of the coast from the road. Everything you need in a quaint little package. Sonja was excellent at responding and answering all our questions!

Very spacious, clean and stylish home, it is actually much larger than it looks from the road. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was extremely well equipped (coffee, tea and creamers provided), did not get to use the hot tub so will have to save that for another trip. Furniture is stylish and great for hanging out (separate lounge area and another room for watching TV). Wifi was strong and reliable. Communication with the host was quick and responsive. We were a group of 7 women who thoroughly enjoyed our getaway weekend. It is a short walk into Annapolis Royal and Lindsay had some good local tips for us. We had dinner at the Founders Dining room, go there, you won’t regret it! Thanks so much for sharing your special home with us - 5 stars!!!

This lovely older home is perfect for a family or friends getaway!The view was stunning and our stay was great. The house had everything you could possibly need and more. Lindsay was so responsive and helpful, it made for a stress-free girls' weekend!

What a unique, special place to take a break in! Lindsay was very quick to respond to any questions I had prior to arrival. The layout of the house was my favorite. It was extremely clean and was also easy to clean before check out. A very comfortable house to spend time with your loved ones. The hot tub was a special feature that we 3 very much enjoyed. The hardest and most difficult part of our stay, was leaving. We hope to return to Granville House again!

This is a beautiful house with an amazing host. Lots of unique little touches and wonderful amenities. My significant other and I came for a two night stay to get away. We brought our food with us and had a lovely stay-cation. We hardly left the house. It was perfect. Clean, comfortable, had everything we needed for comfort and for preparing meals and the hot tub and sauna were so relaxing. We will be back.

We drove 2 .5 hours to get to Lindsay's bnb and we were not disappointed! It looked just like the pictures, a quiet getaway from the city. Lindsay was also very accommodating and everything was clean and ready to use. A lot of sweet touches, including a handwritten card from the host and a basket. Back to reality (boo!) but we will be back soon. :)

What a treasure this place is! We were completely charmed by every inch of Upper Granville Hall. The antiques, the whimsical touches, the fascinating old books, THE VIEW! The glorious view of the meandering Annapolis River that changed with the light and weather of the day - no need for a TV, we just sat and stared. The bed was very comfortable with nice linens, the bathroom spotless with fluffy white towels and a great shower. It was a perfect location to visit Annapolis Royal (Saturday market is a must!) and surrounding area and we had fun tripping along the various antiques places. I highly recommend staying at Upper Granville Hall if you're looking for a unique experience - I'll be surprised if you don't fall in love with it, too. Thank you, Bruce and Eric!

Our stay at Upper Granville Hall exceeded our expectations in every way. The Hall itself is more beautiful than even the pictures suggest. Well appointed, sparkly clean, beautiful grounds and a delightful view of the river. We were so entranced by the mist rising from the water on our last morning we were a bit late in departing! Bruce and Eric were extraordinary hosts. From the little treats to welcome our arrival to the frequent check ins to make sure we had every thing we needed, they could not have been more gracious or responsive. I would recommend Upper Granville Hall to anyone looking for a luxurious stay in the Annapolis Royal area.

What a GEM! The pictures do not do justice for this beautiful getaway ! Bruce & Eric looked after every little detail including soap in the shower, high quality towels, fully stocked kitchen, even wonderful music we could play while enjoying our dinner. The communication was excellent , the river views from the large windows looking out over the deck were stunning ! WE have been to many airbnb's and this is our favorite- very unique to stay in an antique community hall - We cannot say enough good things about this place.. IF you are thinking of this place DO NOT HESITATE book today !! YOU will not regret it ..fantastic location and gorgeous place !!! We cannot wait to go back !!

A very lovingly furnished accommodation. Like a work of art - the house and the furnishings tell stories. At the same time we felt very comfortable, because everything is new and well renovated. Janis' cottage is a perfect size for two people. Everything needed is supplied. The backyard faces the water with a very nice view and a cute garden. Janis and Cam live next door and seem to love to speak with their guests, though I am sure they would not intrude if guests want to be left alone. They are delightful company - well-traveled and well-read. The cottage is very close to Port Royal and Annapolis Royal.

Janis and her husband Cam were EXCEPTIONAL hosts! They were so welcoming and generous. We LOVED their little cottage and property. Quite possibly the best view of Annapolis Royal you could ever get. Fully stocked kitchen. Sweet little bedroom. Bathroom sparkly clean and lots of towels/soap/etc. Will definitely stay again and can easily and wholeheartedly recommend to friends and family.

We loved staying at Jan and Cam’s cute little cottage. Thoroughly enjoyed the view, waterfront location and the hot tub. Jan and Cam gave us a lot of privacy as well. Would love to visit again!

Returning each day was a pleasure after days of hiking and exploring the quaint harbors and coves along the Bay of Fundy. Close to everything we wanted to see in our visit to Nova Scotia. We adored our stay here. The view from the cottage is spectacular, we adored having our breakfast out in the little garden, our daughter enjoyed the hot tub and pool, Cam took us on a wonderful kayaking trip, beds were comfy, and Janis and Cam were fantastic hosts.

Luxury takes many forms. If you are expecting the Ritz then maybe Nova Scotia isn't for you let alone Waters edge ! But if you are looking for a quaint and comfortable home for exploring the Annapolis valley then you've arrived.Jan and Cam live next door and you share the yard and pool and hot tub as public spaces but the grounds and views are spectacular. They are welcoming hosts with great local knowledge but respect your privacy as well. We explored the valley on day trips to wineries and had a great day whale watching with Jan's cousin Penny. Each day we returned home to our little refuge with stunning water views of Annapolis Royal. Thank you Jan and Cam. We hope to return someday soon. You won't find a better home away from home in the area!

Nancy’s apartment in Annapolis Royal was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. It was a relaxing space and a great area.

In Annapolis Royal working and found this fun colorful place right in the center of town. It had what we needed when we came back home on a chilly Nov day. It was cozy(with added warmth from the little wood stove), movies to watch, comfortable bed and great coffee for the morning. Nancy is a thoughtful host and provided extras ..like popcorn and chips that we appreciated along with advice on things to see in the Valley which is easy from this location. I hope we can visit again

Nancy’s place is well situated in downtown Annapolis Royal and an easy walk from a number of lovely local businesses. The suite is charming, clean, and private. Our only wish was that the weather would have been less windy so we could use the woodstove - but there’s not anything Nancy can control about that. She was a gracious and accommodating host.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Cindy's Red Shed. It was our first Airbnb experience and it was just perfect for us. The house was very comfortable and clean, very nicely decorated, and it had everything we needed for our four night stay. Cindy was a great host. She responded very quickly to any questions we had and she met us on our arrival to show us the house. She made us feel very welcome and right at home in her stylish Red Shed. The location was perfect for us and it was easy to park and unload. We didn't do much cooking but it was nice to know we had everything we needed in the kitchen if we had wanted to cook in more than we did. We knew someone who had stayed here so we had a personal recommendation as well as looking at all the great reviews before we booked this house. Since it was our first time with an Airbnb, we were a little uncertain how it would work out, but now that we have stayed there we definitely agree with all the high ratings Cindy has as a host and for the house itself. We would stay there again, and we are now more interested in looking at Airbnb options in our future travels. The Red Shed was a 5 star experience for us, and Cindy is definitely a super host!

Cindy's Cabin is a small treasure chest. Very comfortable and individually designed. Everything you need is there. You can feel really comfortable there. The Farmers Market was great. We were able to buy delicious things for dinner.

This space is an amazing place to spend down time at after a day of exploring. Cindy is a great host, make sure to check out her antique store (it’s super cool). Annapolis Royal is a very beautiful, quaint, and unique place to relax and find new experiences.

If it’s a shed- which it clearly isn’t - this must be one of the biggest sheds in the world! It’s an amazingly generous, stylish and comfortable space for 2 people (in our case), tucked away in a very quiet location right in the heart of old Annapolis with all the attractions, restaurants etc on your doorstep. Cindy was an absolute pleasure to meet. Highly recommended.

We watched a series on short term rentals a while back where the ‘best of the best’ were highlighted. Well Cindy and her Famous Red Shed should have been featured on it! From the moment we opened the door we were in awe. The space is incredibly inviting and there’s a treasure to behold wherever you look with imported exquisite hand made treasures throughout. Fresh cut flowers on the table; supplies in the fridge and cupboards; polished surfaces; comfortable furnishings sporting freshly cleaned white fabrics; and a bunch of local flyers to easily guide her guests during their stay are some of the added touches which are so appreciated. Don’t even get me started on her abundant fragrant gardens. The location is spectacular too but above all of this is the host. An individual who would be hard to forget and one whose acquaintance will remain cherished. We will be back that’s for certain! Thanks Cindy

We were only there to sleep but the beds were comfy and there was enough space for the 4 of us. Great location & value for in-between valley and south shore activities.
