Since there's no street lights around, it's the perfect place to watch the Aurora and enjoy a relaxing private getaway in the Arctic. We live next door with our 5-year old son and cat. We are at work from 8:00 are at home from about 4:30pm and on weekends. We love our house! It's on the most amazing location right by the sea with a view over beautiful mountains, surrounded by nature, and if you are lucky you'll see wild life like reindeers, otters, moose and whales and you can also see Northern Lights from the house. We built the house in 2018 and moved in right away. The house is modern, well equipped and it has a fantastic panorama sauna only a few meters from the sea. The place is quiet and the neighbors are very friendly and helpful.

New, great cabin with a lovely view!

About this place: The hut is brand new and special. In the kitchen and living room there are large window surfaces and and very high under the roof. The view is therefore spectacular and has to be experienced. You can hear and see the sea from the terrace because the cabin is only 50 meters from the sea. You can park your car almost right next to the lodge. It is therefore very easy to use the cabin. You can carry your luggage right into the cabin.

This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available. Villa Lyngen - High end panorama view with spa

Beautiful location - the view is even better than the photos on this listing. Easy drive from Tromsø (~2.5hrs). The house is well appointed with everything needed to cook meals and enjoy the surroundings. The sauna is spacious and heats up very quickly and the jacuzzi is a must-add (amazing view). The house is only about 15 minutes drive from town but feels remote and peaceful. A couple great day hikes are easily accessible via short & scenic drives. One especially cool feature for those visiting in June, is that, as the house is oriented looking north with an uninterrupted view along the Fjord, the midnight sun is perfectly framed on the water between the mountains when looking out from the deck - truly magical. The host helped us set up a private chef for an evening and breakfast delivery. Communication was super easy. Highly recommend a visit!

It was perfect! The house was clean and it had a lot of amenities. Quality was at a high level. I was very satisfied. No neighbors and great sauna. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not in operation… Contact was always great. I fell in love with this place! Thanks Truls!

Marielle's place is very spacious, clean and has a fantastic view over the fjord. It is a great location to go skitouring on Kvaløya, one route starts only a few minutes away from the house. There is a well equipped, large kitchen and a great coffee machine. Everything was very clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

We had a fantastic time here! The cabin was gorgeous and perfect location for exploring ! With some lovely hikes right on the doorstep! There was everything you needed in the cabin, and the sauna was a big bonus, it got used most days! You do need a car as there isn't anything local, which was perfect for us, as we wanted a peaceful, relaxing holiday! Would highly recommend and already planning on coming back one day! A wonderful, warm, and memorable stay! We had such a wonderful time at Lisa’s unique, romantic fisherman’s cabin! The place itself is cottagecore — a charming cabin right by the water, with stunning views and a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. What made our stay truly special was the kindness and generosity of Lisa, Tor Erlend, and their kids. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable — from providing warm blankets for airports, bringing us coffee, offering rides in days that buses r off, and helping us to stay warm. It felt more like staying around friends farm than just a rental. The whole family came together to create a warm, welcoming experience for us, and we left with wonderful memories we’ll treasure for a long time. We can’t wait to come back again. Thank you Lisa, Tor Erlend, and kids, for making it all so beautiful!
