Colette was an amazing host, she even surprised me with a birthday treat! The house is even nicer than the pictures, and the outside areas, decks etc.. while not so useful in negative temps, were awesome and you can tell there’s plenty of outdoor space as well as inside, in the more temperate months. She and her husband were great and so helpful. The house has great supplies, anything you need to feel at home. The sunroom is absolutely a stunning place to sit! Enjoyed watching the snow, sun and the deer wander through. Definite do-over.

We loved this beautiful location and what a quiet, peaceful environment it was. What a gorgeous spot! We really enjoyed the canoe that was available to use and the beachside bonfire.

We loved everything about the Bhombay Beach House! It was private, cozy, and super clean. We appreciated the full kitchen (coffeemaker/coffee, full-sized fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, glassware, and utensils), since we like to save $$$ by making breakfast while on vacation. Bob was very responsive without being intrusive. He provided extra amenities without our asking (umbrellas and nighttime snacks!). The large-screen TV included Netflix ... lots of DVDs, too. The views of the beach (Lake Huron) from the living room and kitchen were gorgeous. It was too chilly to use the firepit, but we walked the beach on our last day, which was lovely. LOVED being so close to the water! We were just up the street from the ferry to Mackinac Island. We had never been, and it didn't disappoint. Horse-drawn carriages, the Grand Hotel, funky restaurants, lots of bicycles, fudge! Make sure to visit Bob (and Thom's) store, Cottage UP. Great finds! In short, a perfect stay in every way. Great little cabin stay. We mostly wanted to stay in a log cabin because of our son's recent interest in building houses with logs. He seemed to enjoy the simple aspects, of just a simple cabin in the woods. The playground was simple, and he enjoyed it. The best was sitting out by the fire looking up at the stars and reading books with him. We brought chairs but didn't need them. Everything we needed was at the cabin. Great place.

Our stay at the cabin on the private lakefront property was nothing short of amazing! The view of the lake, especially during sunset, was absolutely breathtaking. The property had everything we needed for a perfect getaway—lots of amenities, including provided firewood and fire starters, which made evenings by the fire so enjoyable. There were plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy right on the premises, making it the ideal spot for relaxation and adventure. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting!

This place couldn't be any more perfect if we had owned and decorated it ourselves. Everything we could hope to have for our stay was there. From the plentiful kitchen of glasses, pots, pans, bowls, etc., to the blankets in the living room, games, emergency kit, brochure and highlights board, books, etc. This place was amazing. Best Airbnb we've ever stayed at.

We loved the cabin! The view is AMAZING--the lake is right off the deck, with stunning views from the bedroom and living room any time of day. It was halfway between Sault Ste. Marie and Pancake Bay, making either easy to get to, and it had everything the two of us could need. We would come back any time!

Great location and perfect place to relax. Close to restaurants open during winter months. Easy drive to Mackinac City, The Soo, Escanaba, etc. Walkable to town. Games and books available for down time. Nice deck to enjoy. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Great place for a weekend getaway. House was very welcoming, clean, and all the amenities we needed were there. Great spot and great view of the lake. Highly recommend for people wanting a small place for a peaceful getaway.
