Casa Jaumet: a peaceful place where you can listen to the silence

Rustic open-plan apartment of about 60m2 inside an isolated farmhouse. Casa Jaumet is the only inhabited house in the abandoned village of Aramunt Vell. A rural area of austere life, where you will find a lot of peace and great panoramic views. We are dedicated to beekeeping and organic farming; we are recovering abandoned crops from the environment and launching a responsible and eco-sustainable tourism project. El apartamento se encuentra en la histórica "Casa Bochaca" situada en el centro del pueblo justo al lado del puente románico. La casa se reformó íntegramente en el 2000, manteniendo la esencia original de antaño pero con las comodidades de la construcciones actuales, potente calefacción, equipada con todos lo electrodomésticos y wifi. El enclave es ideal como puente de partida a numerosas actividades en función de la época del año: esquí , ráfting, barranquismo, senderismo, gastronomía...

It is located inside an emblematic house in the center of Estamariu, a beautiful village in the Catalan Pyrenees 20 minutes from Andorra. If you like big-screen cinema, you can enjoy your favorite film in its private cinema room, the seventh art in the center of a privileged rural setting.

This apartment is quiet. All exterior. It consists of a living/dining room with a kitchenette, balcony with views, sofa, smart TV. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, washing machine, microwave, ceramic hob, cooking utensils, Nespresso and traditional coffee maker. Full bathroom. It has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and a small outdoor balcony, and the second with two twin beds. (We have an apartment on the lower floor, see another listing in Roní)

It is located in the small and quiet village of Basturs (Pallars Jussà), where one of the most important dinosaur sites in Europe is located. In the area you can do many activities: visit the Estanys de Basturs and castles, do hiking and mountain biking, visit wineries and discover the region's immense natural and geological heritage.

Here you can relax in the middle of nature, where you can go on walking routes, visit forests, springs, fountains... and also do yoga and meditation We are in the center of the valley of the vultures, where you can see many, visiting the center where they take care of their habitat. Casa Vella Arrero, is a typical mountain house from the 18th century, completely restored since 2018, where at all times the essence of the typical buildings of the Pyrenees , with stone and wood, has been maintained. The house has an innate, rustic and elegant charm where you could introduce elements of comfort and modernity . The house is all lit by a warm lighting system with LEDs, in line with the rest environment offered by its location.

The strong point of the house is its magnificent location beside the Noguera Pallaresa river, with incredible views as you can see in the photos. In the river one can bathe, go rafting or kayaking. The environment is great for excursions, for example to Arboló, Collegats, Moncortés...
