Very clean place with a keurig and coffee in the morning. We also enjoyed the bottled water. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Very stocked place. A Netflix movie at night was a special touch. Very clean... Just perfect for my husband and I. We will be back if we're in the area again.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for an extended period as we worked at Geisinger Medical Center. Although it was a good 30 minutes away, we were lucky to stay in a beautiful apartment. Clean, cozy, and comfortable. Launa was helpful from the very first day, quickly replying to any and all messages. The local neighbors were friendly and helpful during our stay, too. The apartment was modern, with working appliances and ample kitchen space. The living room was utilized nightly, watching Netflix on the Roku TV and lounging on the comfortable couch. The bedroom, although warm at times, was very comfortable with space for clothes hangers. The town of Mt Carmel is an old coal-mining town. Truthfully, not much to do but we loved the Italian restaurant, Mattucii's. All in all, it was a lovely apartment that comfortably fit both of us. Beautifully decorated chalet with a beautiful view of the town. Clean and cozy! Jane also provides brochures with menus to local restaurants, activities and wineries/breweries in the area. If the Shamokin area is in our future plans, will definitely look to book this lovely home away from home. P.S. loved the Dominoes, Chinese checkers and deck of cards in the living room!

The apartment was perfect! Very cute and clean. We spent the weekend at AOAA and the apartment was perfectly located, just minutes from the park. The apartment is located on a narrow one-way street and parking is limited. For people traveling with a trailer this might not be a good choice. We loved it and will definitely be staying there again

What a gem, hidden in Shamokin. The location is very easy to reach, and parking is directly outside the entrance. The unit boasts an amazing view of the city, and is close to the business district. We look forward to staying again.

Jiehui’s place is a nice spot for a single individual or a couple. It is set up like a rooming house so homey feel, thin walls (so you can hear whatever is going on I the next room) however clean and cozy.

Perfect, affordable place for a travel nurse. I only stay on my work days and this is close to downtown for food etc and close to the hospital in Danville. It’s quiet and clean.

Such a nice, quiet place. Not too much to do around the town, but if you have good company to hangout with, Cousin Dave’s place is the place to be! Also, check out the restaurant ‘Wheel’ SO good.

The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils you would need. The beds were very comfortable and were just the right firmness for all of us. It is an older row house, but looks like it has been remodeled and was very pleasant. There is a stairway to the bedrooms and bath, so like many two story buildings, it is not handicap accessible, but that wasn’t a factor with our group, we had no problem with the stairs. Dave was quick to answer any questions we had and was a great guy to work with. It is situated in a nice, quiet area. If you are looking for a nice, comfortable place, this is a place to consider. There were 4 in our group and we all agreed that if we are back in the area we would definitely rent this again. A big thumbs up to Dave.

I absolutely loved David's house. It was roomy, comfortable, super clean, and my family loved it. I loved the idea that my dogs could be part of my trip and comfortable as well. I liked the fact after being on the road for a week, that there was a washer and dryer to use. By far the best host out there. David was very nice and kept in touch with me!!!!

Great place! Clean and felt at home. We were visiting our son who only live 4 minutes drive from the house so the location was awsome for us. Great touches and snacks for us and our pups waiting for us! There was plenty of things in the pantry and fridge. We could have cooked a entire meal if we wanted to! Thanks Dave!

A super cozy, clean, and comfortable spot. David had quick responses and excellent communication. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the pillows were some of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. Having a pet friendly place to stay was wonderful. I also loved that there were a few snacks and drinks available.

One of the best, most accommodating hosts I've stayed with. Janet greeted me with a hug and both her and her husband stayed to make sure I was settled in. They checked in regularly to make sure I didn't have any needs during my stay. The home was renovated beautifuly and the setting was picturesque. Its a great atmosphere for students practicing in the area or medical travelers. I would highly recommend again and again!!

Wonderful & Comfortable Stay...Thank You

This is my 2nd time staying at this beautiful home in the last 4 weeks (traveling from out of state for my ill mother at nearby hospital.) As always, the hosts were so kind, thoughtful, and accommodating. Both stays at their home were wonderful, and I am very grateful I was able to secure a 2nd visit. Staying in their home really helped to lessen the stress and burden I had during a very difficult time for my family, so for that, I can’t thank you enough!

This was my second time staying at Susan’s Place. Same result - perfect. This nice little apt is right on Main St. Bloomsburg. It is immaculately clean, tidy and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated how responsive the hosts were. They even supplied snacks which our son loved! The apartment was excellent. We also really enjoyed having the library in walking distance.

Susan’s place was great! Accessible to anywhere downtown with plenty of parking. She loaded the place with extras, such as breakfast items! She made it feel like home. Will be back!

This apartment is perfectly located, especially for stepping right outside and walking the beautiful streets of Bloomsburg, and checking out the University. It is beautifully decorated and comfortable - the photography on the walls is great. There was a basket of breakfast items and snacks, plus coffee, coffee filters, juice, milk, cream cheese - anything to make a quick breakfast. Very nice touch. And the kitchen is stocked with plates, silverware, toaster, coffee maker, and more. We slept 3 very comfortably, an each had our own space. There was one very small drawback - it is located right on Main Street and you can hear the traffic from the bedrooms. I didn't have trouble sleeping but it took a bit of getting used to at first because I live on a very quiet street. That is a very minor criticism of the apartment, because everything else was outstanding. Highly recommend - it would be perfect for a family attending a student's graduation from Bloomsburg or moving someone in for back to school.

This was the best Air BnB experience I've had, to date. All of the "basics" were more than covered, with high quality cookware in the kitchen, towels (including "make-up" towels!) and toiletries in the bathroom, and incredibly soft bed sheets. Not to mention, the AC was already turned on when we arrived, which we felt was a very considerate touch considering the heat and humidity these days. It was so comfortable to stay here and would do it again in a heart beat. Highly recommended!

Rayne is an excellent host! She is so sweet and helpful! She responds quickly and was so nice every time we saw her! The apartment itself exceeded our expectations. It is immaculately clean, adorably decorated, and she has thought of absolutely everything you could need or could have forgotten at home! The location itself was perfect for us; it was super close to Knoebels and very easy to get back to at night. My boyfriend and I were so happy with our stay and hope to stay here again next year when we go back to Knoebels. Also, Rayne has the CUTEST little dog. He was absolutely darling and gave me kisses through the fence, which really just made our stay that much better <3. I highly recommend staying here if you can!

We chose this spot as a dog friendly place to stay for a weekend getaway to celebrate a wedding at the Pump House. The apartment exceeded our expectations in that it is truly dog friendly. Every little detail was already thought of ahead of time. Rayne is so helpful and always responded quickly if we had a question. The location itself was perfect for us in that it was easy to get to both the venue and the town. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially someone traveling with a dog.

First and foremost, we couldn’t have had a better host. She is attentive, welcoming, and responsive. The pictures do not do this apartment justice. Everything is brand new, and the place is eat-off-the-floor clean! The layout is perfect, and Rayne was super thoughtful in adding special little extras if you forget anything. Kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked. Bonus: upon leaving, we actually got to meet her!

Janet and her family were amazing hosts. She was extremely receptive to messages and the check-in process was seamless. Her home was kept extremely clean and has all the amenities that you need. The commute to Geisinger is about ~25 minutes and traffic is non-existent making it an easy drive.

This house is a true gem! It is beautiful, large, and very comfortable! It’s set up for students doing rotations at Geisinger and is an easy drive to Shamokin and a reasonable drive to Geisinger Medical Center. The host are kind and accommodating...what else could you ask for?

If you’re still on the fence on wether you should book this trip, think no more! This place is absolutely stunning, quiet, tranquil and breath taking. The town near by doesn’t have the up to date places you’re probably used too, but they do have some secrete local gems to offer that will make your stay perfect.

Our stay at the firetower was nothing short of spectacular. It made for the perfect location for my wife's 30th birthday party. The views are outstanding and we couldn't have asked for better weather. Waking up surrounded by light from every side is probably the best way to start the day. The hiking here is unique here since it is on a tree farm. We managed to see about 30 deer and a bunch of other wildlife as well. The kitchen was great for cooking on vacation and had everything we needed. A lot of our time was spent on the wrap-around deck upstairs enjoying the majestic views and also around the outside fire pit. We could not have asked for anything more, can't wait to come back!

Wonderful stay at the Firetower! Our 4 year old daughter LOVED the loft and would bring her books up there to read to herself. The house was spotless and had all the amenities that you need. It is small, but large enough to spread out in. We went for a walk on the property our first day there and it was beautiful. It truly felt like home away from home. We hope to return when the weather is warmer to enjoy the upstairs deck. Thank you for your hospitality!

We had a great night around the fire. Lots of wood provided. The place was clean and the setting is private. We needed a place to get away from it all and relax, and this cabin was just right. The listing photos and description don't do justice to this place. This turned out to be truly one of the most comfortable and nice places I've stayed at. Comfortable furniture with nice choice of sleeping and relaxing options , pristine clean, thermostat to control temperature (it's December now and freezing and inside is WARM), nice hot shower, large refrigerator, nice kitchen counter and great sink, choice of bright and soft lights, large tv screen with Netflix and some other choices, super peaceful and quiet at all times of day and night - great for sleeping and relaxing, outside is all woods - clean air, no busy roads nearby. Yet very close to the stores and anything else you might need. On top of all this fast wifi and great phone signal. A perfect place for self retreat or working or both. Edward and Maureen are fantastic hosts that are quick to respond and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. A 5 star place in every way. If you are considering it, don't look any further.

Edward and Maureen were very friendly and helpful. They accommodated a couple of last minute requests we had promptly and positively. We had told them we would be visiting the local fair and when we arrived, there were a couple of complementary tickets waiting for us. What a surprise! Their Airbnb space was a cozy and nicely appointed one bedroom apartment. It had a comfortable and homey feel to it. We really liked the scenery of this area of Pa. The serenity of the apartment location makes it seem way off the beaten path which may be for some, but are about a 15 minute drive away from stores and restaurants. We would love to stay again.

It’s quiet, tucked away in the woods, but only 12 minutes from Main Street Danville. If you’re hungry look up Old Forge Brewery, otherwise just enjoy the quiet.

I was in town for a couple months for work, I had everything I needed. It is only 10 minutes to Geisinger Medical, grocery stores within 10-15 minutes. Great hosts. Mindful of noises when I had to work the night shift. Definitely recommend if you will be in Danville.

We came into town specifically to see Graffiti Highway, but the trip was made even more special because of our stay here. Highly recommend to anyone coming into the area.

A wonderful calm aesthetic with a ton of history all over the B n B. Up to date amenities. The bathrooms were super clean and accommodating. The bed was super comfy and I slept so well. The view from our window was amazing. The windows let in so much natural light when the shudders were open. Dave was great at communicating with us about check in and was available for whatever needs we may have had.

This is a spacious, simple, private above-the-garage unit with its own 3/4 bath and a living room with TV. It is clean, though it was probably painted very recently when I stayed, making the paint smell somewhat strong. That said, I had a comfortable one night stay. It is just across the river (a 1 minute drive) from Danville proper and well-located.

I stayed for one night for an interview at Geisinger. The space was conveniently close to the hospital and had awesome amenities. Check in was great. I would definitely recommend to others.

Frank and Diana are some of the most genuine, warm, welcoming hosts we have ever had. Their bed and breakfast is a large, rambling old house, just bursting with character. Breakfast was a highlight of the trip, and not just because the food was delicious. The experience of talking with other travelers and at the same time feeling like we were guests in someone's house was unique. We went to Rickett's Glen (which was amazing) and this bed and breakfast was a good distance from that park, about an hour a way. This B and B is great for families too. We had our one-year-old with us and Frank and Diana were very understanding of his curious nature. And our little guy loved their sweet dog. We highly recommend this place!

I was pleasantly surprised by this cozy airbnb. There is a lazy boy recliner in the living room that is so comfortable I actually spent 2 hours in it just laying there. I love that there's a thermostat in each room - it was very cozy and warm. We slept well in the bedroom although it is a smaller bed than we are used to. The place was very clean and it was quiet during our stay. The windows do face the street and there are curtains which probably remain closed all the time for privacy, but it was still light in the apartment in the daytime. We usually rent airbnbs for the purposes of having a kitchen to cook, and I did feel the kitchen was lacking some items (cutting board, vegetable peeler, strainer etc) but I did mention to the host and I do believe they will get these items. There is a little breakfast nook with a table and two chairs by the window, and we enjoyed having our meals there. Overall we were very comfortable and do recommend this place to other travelers!

Oh where to start!! Great place to stay for the amusement parks or AOAA. The porch is worth it alone, could stay out there for HOURS. Will definitely be returning for the next AOAA trip with friends and family.

This was our first Airbnb stay and the house was absolutely perfect. It was me and my fiancé and we brought our 2 dogs with us. It was soo hard finding a dog friendly place until we came across Rodneys place. Cupboards were filled with cookware and even spices. Very clean and spacious and a quick drive to AOAA.

We had an awesome weekend! The property and the area around is gorgeous. It was a great break from the city to get into nature for the weekend. There's no wifi or cell service, but there is a landline in the house.

Another great ski weekend. Private mountainside home with everything needed for a great time.

If you want a cozy and comfortable getaway this is the perfect spot. The house was adorable, warm and clean. There’s no service at all so if you’re looking to escape from your phone for a while this is the place to go. Highlights were definitely the fire pit plus there’s a TV with a VHS player and tons of movies, and we even brought a GameCube and hooked that up. Easy to find yet secluded at the same time. Hosts live just up the hill too if you need anything or if there’s an emergency. Would definitely stay here again! Easy 5 stars

House is much better than what is shown in pictures. We came in late at night, but the host was very cooperative and had a very good check-in, only problem was with the location and route to get to the house. But, it was perfectly described by host, we just had to follow his description. Overall it’s worth the money and it’s a great stay.

Amazing Airbnb. Accommodated our family of 7 + Two grand babies perfectly. If you are looking for a remote stay, this is it. Jennifer thought of everything and supplied a perfect basket of goodies for all to enjoy. And plenty of wood for those roaring campfires with the family. Will definitely be coming back.

We stayed in the lighthouse room, which was very nice and cozy. We had a lovey stay and the breakfast was amazing!

If you want personal service and attention to your every needs, Georgia and Reid are eager to help make your stay in PA the best! Really enjoyed hearing about the local history and culture of the area from them. Each room is individually themed as well. The facilities and room were fully functioning, very clean, and parking was plentiful. Rabbits, chipmunks, and the distant crow of a rooster help round out the enchanting atmosphere. Just a wonderful place to spend a few days.

Had a great stay, Georgia makes a great breakfast and Reed, her huby, is a kicker of a guy to chat with. Well located, very country comfy and causal. We'll be back ! Jim & Mary

Georgia and Reid make you feel right at home. They communicated very well and were willing to help in any way they could. The room is a perfect size if you are traveling alone. I was able to make use of the kitchen ammentieis as well as being treated to a great early bird breakfast with interesting conversation.

Georgia and her husband were very friendly and easy to get in touch with. The place was adorable and very clean, and the breakfast was very good. Great place to stop on your way to the Poconos!

My father had the experience of staying in the Lighthouse room and could not say a bad thing about it! He had some travel delays and Georgia was very flexible with accommodating him. The location was perfect for a family member's baby shower and a trip to Knoebels! The room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Most of all, he loved talking with the hosts as they found out they had a lot of mutual interests and friends! I would definitely recommend staying here!

Awesome spot to rent! We made a quick visit to Centralia which was only 20 minutes away. The house was really cool which made the whole weekend better!

The place is quirky and cozy and fun to explore. The views are beautiful and it was lovely to just be unplugged for a few days. The hosts are kind and responsive. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had plenty of pots and pans to do so! We had to travel a bit for some hiking but, the local area was great for walking!

This house lives up to its reviews! If you’re looking for the TajMahal then this isn’t your place, but if you’re looking for a quaint, quiet country homey stay, this IS your place! Jamie was an excellent host & very responsive. The amenities were as described with a few extras. The property & views were absolutely gorgeous! We enjoyed our stay & will book again when we’re in the area.

Jeihui’s place was easy to find and very easy to navigate! The locks on the doors had pins which made us feel very secure whenever we left our stuff in the house. There was also a grocery store that was a 10 minute walk from the place and was very convenient to get to. Overall, the stay was great! Jiehui made everything easy to understand so there was very little to be confused about!

nice spot for a quick stay. everything was as described, and check in was self service and very easy. lots of cameras in communal areas which may be off-putting for some.

Working at Bloomsburg University for a spell and needed a home base. Perfect for that. Whole place is a bit outdated and feels like a college student's apartment but I can't say that bothered me in the slightest. Good communication with the host, good water pressure in the shower. I have simple needs and they were absolutely met!

Just as expected- small rooms perfect to crash in for a night. We stopped in Bloomsburg on our way through PA and Jiehui’s place was comfortable, clean, and in a nice location within walking distance of a few small local businesses. Easy communication and no complications. Will be our go-to spot when passing through the area!

It was a very pleasant stay. Mike is a wonderful guy, and the house is very spacious and clean. You can also walk to geisenger hospital if you are here for a rotation. There are buses to Danville that drop you off close by to his place. I highly recommend Mike's place to anyone traveling to Danville.
