Lovely, light and airy room on the second floor of our Victorian town house. The accommodation provides total privacy for guests with en-suite shower room, fridge, microwave, dishes, cutlery and tea/coffee making facilities. (Drinking water from bathroom tap). The price shown is for the room with either one or two guests. Breakfast is not included but there are several breakfast cafes within 2 minutes walk plus grocery shops, restaurants and takeaways. Beach 4 minutes walk.
Huge double bedroom with en-suite We have a very attractive, light and airy bedroom in the attic of our Victorian House in Swansea, Wales. The room has lots of character, with wooden floors and exposed beams. It is a self-contained floor. Guests enter through the front door and go straight up the stairs to the room, which gives a considerable degree of privacy, peace and comfort. The room is for one or two adults only and we have no facilities for babies or children. The room has a kingsize bed, sofa, TV, microwave, kettle, fridge and tea and coffee. There are four, inexpensive breakfast cafes within 2 minutes walk. (Sorry I don't do breakfast) There is an ensuite shower room and excellent Wifi. Bedlinen and towels are provided. Central heating. On road parking if you have a car, or public transport two minutes away if you don't. As this is a city centre location there are some parking restrictions on St. Helens Avenue. There is, however, also plenty of unrestricted parking in our street so you will not have a problem finding a space. Location We are in a great location within walking distance of all Swansea's amenities, including the University. The area is home to many students in term time. It is a young, vibrant and very safe and friendly part of Swansea but don't expect posh or swanky! It is 4 minute walk to the beautiful, sandy beach and 10 minutes to the town centre. It's a 10 minute drive or bus ride to the Gower peninsula and some of the UK's best surfing beaches. It is a 2 minute walk to bars and restaurants: where you can get everything from a full Welsh breakfast to a Chinese, Indian, French or Middle Eastern dinner. There is a really good theatre 10 minutes walk. There is a water sports centre on the beach where you can learn kite surfing and paddle boarding. We are 1 minute from Wales's best ice cream parlour - Joe's - and fish and chips and pizza take aways. We are about 15 minutes walk from Swansea Leisure Centre and the Marina and this is another area where there are plenty of cafes and bars and also the Dylan Thomas Theatre. This is also the site of the National Waterfront Museum.. There is a Boating Lake on the seafront and Crazy Golf. There are cycle paths along the seafront (National Cycle Path 43 on the seafront is a 5 minute walk) and you can hire a bike 2 minutes walk from our front door. We are also on the Wales coastal path, which now goes right around the country. There is also the lovely Singleton Park with it's ornamental gardens. We are 3 miles from the seaside resort of Mumbles - a bus ride away, but it's also possible to walk there, along the sea front. There is a bus stop just round the corner with buses to Gower peninsula, the hospital and the university.
Young, vibrant, multi-cultural neighbourhood with lots of student accommodation, pubs, restaurants and things to do and see. There are some wonderful Asian shops selling food from all over the world. It is very safe and friendly but not what most people would call smart!

Kitchen fully equipped and was nice to have basics like tea and coffee and cooking oil there. There is no garden as such as it’s set into a hill but I imagine that it’s lovely to use the patio furniture and look over the valleys and at all the different birds in the summer months. Recommend three cliffs beach - was stunning. Swansea is a 25 min drive if you want to go into a town. Local pub walkable.

  • We had the best New Year’s Eve stay with 4 children and a dog. So much space. Amazing views. Everything you need is in the lodge. Bob was a fantastic host and very helpful. We drove 4 hours to get to the lodge and would do it again as it was just a fantastic trip and excellent value for money!!

  • The lodge was well situated, in striking distance of a lot of beautiful walks and stunning coastline. The view from the balcony was amazing. Sufficient parking for three cars. The lodge was well equipped, warm & comfortable and well laid out with a communal lounge / dining / kitchen area - an ideal social setup. Bob our host was prompt and very helpful! Do note that bedrooms are double bed + single; twin beds; and bunk beds for children.

The location is a bit tricky to find on GPS but was Bob left us with plenty of instructions and even was standing outside in the rain to receive us. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Also, modern day essentials TV & WiFi make this apartment a perfect retreat following a busy day & convenient for business trips.
    The place you're staying is within a short walk to all the bars and restaurants on Wind Street. Wind Street is the go to place for a night out in Swansea. No need to use the car or a taxi. It's also close to the shops and one of the coolest cinema's in the country. Cinema & Co is just across the road and they make the best coffee!
  • Great place next to everything, spacious and clean. The only thing is that it needs a bit more equipment: glasses, a decent frying pan, a colander. When you stay for several days and have this great kitchen you want to be able to cook. Especially since there’s this wonderful indoor market just 5 minutes from the flat.

The property itself was bigger, brighter and quieter than expected and had all the amenities you could need.     The location is in a very quiet area with no through traffic. The immediate surroundings are flat and close to many good areas for walks around the historical Swansea docks or the marina, beach front and town shopping areas. The accom and facilities are not shared and for the sole use of guests which include private shower room/toilet, food prep and storage area and parking. Room has private facilities such as 32 ins t.v super fast broadband, desk which makes it a perfect low cost private stay for business people and travellers alike.
    New marina development, immaculately clean with pleasant and quiet surrounding area. Other residents are either working professionals or retired. The area offers a peaceful quiet stay for travellers, visitors, holiday makers, business people, students or contractors wanting to sample the Swansea scenery, attractions and nightlife who are looking for a comfortable quiet relaxing base.

  • I stayed with Hazel as part of a work trip. Her place is very convenient for the hospital and M4 access which will take you to the gower or the brecon beacons in around 40 minutes. Hazel is a very good host and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. She was very helpful and gave me some local tips. I would highly recommend her place.

  • Everything was outstanding. It was perfect for a quick get away. Everything was spotless and we had the whole downstairs to ourselves which was really nice. There is also a map with stickers for people to show where they’ve come from all over the world which I thought was a really nice touch! However, me and my partner both forgot toothpaste so my suggestion would be to supply toiletries like toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner etc. for forgetful people like us!!

  • What can I say, Janet is a wonderful host who really looked after me. On arrival it was pelting down with rain. I was quickly shown in and around the house and offered a cup to tea ! As mentioned by other reviewers the room is basic..... but it is large and clean, with all you need for a good nights sleep. There are 3 x single beds, cupboard and draws as well as having lots of natural light. Bathroom, toilet, kitchen are all clean and in good condition. So a real home from home experience. To top it of, is Trevor. A lovely old staff who is extremely friendly and likes to come and say hello Thanks Janet for your hospitality

    Seven-One-Six is a family run B & B within the attractive village of Treboeth located within 1 mile south of Junction 46 of the M4 and 2 miles from the centre of the City of Swansea. Our spacious house offers multiple bedrooms in an ideal location to explore Swansea Bay, The Mumbles and Gower with all its famous beaches such as Llangennith, Port Eynon, Oxwich, Langland Bay and Caswell Bay.     We have lived here for over 30 years and brought up our two girls. The neighborhood is a very low crime area so it is safe to walk around even after dark.

That a house is comfortable and well located is a point in favor, but here the real awards are taken by them who are extremely friendly, helpful, friendly. They are always attending to the guest and ready to answer any question one wants to ask them. His permanent advice about what things to do in the city and surroundings were very useful.     Cosy double bedroom with a next door bathroom. I have a kitchen big enough to cook in and plenty of spices etc that you’re welcome to use. Help yourself to tea, coffee and condiments!
    There is a pub a few mins walk from my house that is family friendly and has a beer garden that allows dogs. There are several shops and cash points within a few mins walk from the house. The area is friendly so feel free to ask if you are lost or need help!

Great base to explore the Gower Peninsula (30 mins to Llangennith Beach) and close enough to the city centre for business visitors (10 minute drive). Caravan is 30m from the house and accessed via a path from off road parking space. I will leave you in peace but will be available to help whenever needed. Including info on beaches, waterfalls, walking, surfing, mountain biking, climbing, wild swimming, eating out.
    Located only 10 minutes from the M4 and 10 minutes to the centre of Swansea in a unique rural area. Here you get the best of both worlds, easy access to the Gower Peninsula Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty, whilst close to the city, shops, pubs and other amenities. 5 minutes walk to local shop, or 5 minute drive to a Tesco Extra. My garden is a beautiful wild space with large oaks trees, a pond, a stream, wild birds, wild flowers, beehives and chickens. I am also next to a Local Nature Reserve which offers a beautiful walk in an oak woodland. Smart TV - including Netflix DAB radio Secure bike storage
    Waunarlwydd is on the edge of the Gower Peninsula. The area in which I live is a unique rural valley with farms, wild spaces and a local nature reserve. Only 30 minutes drive to Llangennith, and easy to access to motorway if you wanted to explore the Brecon Beacons or Pembrokeshire National Park.

    Spacious and airy double bedroom at a comfortable family home in a quaint village just off the M4. The neighbourhood is quiet, safe and in a fantastic location.
    Guests have their own double bedroom situated on the first floor. Fresh clean bedding, kettle, and storage space are all included. There is a separate shower room for guests and second toilet downstairs. The shower room is brand new and has a luxury shower (high pressure with rainforest and jet settings). Please note shower room is only shared should there be other guests booked into secound room. Continental breakfast is included with the cost of your room. This consists of fresh tea, coffee, cereal, fruit and toast with butter and/or jam.     This is room 1 (downstairs) The room has a single bed with a trundle bed as well, which makes it suitable for two guests.
    The house located in the heart of Swansea, making it very easy to walk to the train and bus station. Town centre is a 5 minute walk from the house, the main bus station is located in the town centre.

  • The location is very good with walking distance to the shopping area and seaside. The room is much bigger than I expected with two extra sofas and antique-style decorations. And there is actually a TV in the room. As there is no desk in the room, it could be slightly inconvenient as I was on a business trip, but the bed was very comfortable with the cushions, so I just worked in bed :) The kitchen and bathroom are clean, but there is no shower head in the bathroom on the ground floor. Hasan was very kind to greet me and helped me with parking.

    This is a wonderful Home from Home. Stylish and cosy, great location, being close to the centre of Swansea, the Marina and beach. The apartment is on the 12th floor giving amazing views from the lounge. Don't worry though there are 2 lifts/elevators!
    If you're staying on a budget, the kitchen is fully equiped with everything required for home cooking. If you're on holiday and have no intention of cooking, there are plenty of restaurants and takeaways in Swansea. There is a restaurant opposite the entrance and one on the top floor of the tower with amazing panoramic views! The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed, with full length glass-door wardrobe and chest of drawers. The spacious lounge has comfortable sofas (including a double sofa-bed), flat-screen TV with Sky, Freeview and Netflix, and a dining area. The fully equipped kitchen has an oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing-machine and is well stocked with cooking essentials. The Bathroom has a bath with shower over-the-bath. The apartment is convenient for the City Centre, Grand Theatre, University campuses, Swansea College of Art, Glynn Vivian Art Gallery, Singleton Hospital, Liberty Stadium, marina and beaches. The local restaurants include the Grape & Olive with panoramic views, the Pescador and many others in the Marina. The City Centre is a 10-minute walk. There you will find more restaurants and extensive shopping facilities. We would love to host you and hope to see you soon!!
    The apartment is nicely situated between the Marina (outside the tower) and the beach (one minute away). In the marina there are plenty of restaurants and bars. On the top-floor of the tower there is the Grape & Olive restaurant with panoramic views! It is around a 10-minute walk into the City Centre where you will find plenty of the shops and more restaurants and bars and of course Swansea market.

    This is an option for two people preferring twin beds. The double room at the front with a fab view of the City and the gorgeous Bay beyond will become your sitting room. The private loo is within your room behind doors concealing it and beneath a low beam, please note. There are two other loos in the house that you can use on a respectful basis. Please enjoy our lovely sitting room and small south-facing garden at the front. Occasional use of the kitchen is possible by prior arrangement.
    Its an attractive Victorian house in a colourful street. You have the top floor to your selves. The rear garden isn't shared (except when joining us, for example, for your welcome cuppa!!), or, unless required for an event that you'd like to arrange or if you'd like to harvest any fruit for yourselves to eat. Please enjoy the shared living room which provides access to the front garden overlooking the street (it has a sliver of a sea view... your front attic is the place to enjoy the view) and you can use this modest garden space exclusively if you would like to sit outside on your own - or to be joined by our lovely cats. If you have an allergy to cats this is absolutely no problem as we can prevent their access to any and all areas you would be using. This has operated successfully in the past. We are also a gluten-free household. We welcome vegans and vegetarians too.

    'The Dunes' is a ground floor apartment with its own private entrance and the key is accessed from a lockbox. The apartment comprises of a modern double bedroom with brand a new double bed, with large double wardrobe with desk area and TV, it also has its own private bathroom and utility room with breakfast bar that includes a microwave, kettle, toaster, with tea/coffee facilities.
    'The Dunes' is located in the picturesque marina area of Swansea next to the beach, 4 minutes from the local park, a short walk to the city centre. Guests are able to take advantage of many bars, restaurants and bustling city night life or enjoy a walk along the beach.

  • Nigel’s communication on booking and when we were en route to Swansea was excellent: prompt and comprehensive. We were in Swansea for our son’s birthday, an occasion that Nigel was kind enough to mark with a bottle of wine. The apartment itself was easy to reach from the road through the city centre and there is free car parking a five-minute walk away. The accommodation – bedroom, bathroom & kitchenette – was warm, very fresh & spotlessly clean. Although it is only a short distance from the city centre, the location itself is quiet and I slept better than I often do when away from home. There are a number of places to eat around the marina basin – we had a nice meal in a Chinese restaurant only a 5-10 minute walk away. This apartment would well suit a couple on a weekend break in the city.

    Double room in a great location! Town and Singleton university campus are both a 20-minute walk away, the bars/shops of Uplands are 8-minutes and the beach is only 5-minutes! The main room available has one double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a desk. (This room sleeps 2 people max) The rest of the house consists of a shared lounge, bathroom & kitchen and a spare room downstairs which has a double sofa bed available that can accommodate the additional two guests with prior agreement.
    If the booking is for 1 or 2 guests the room available will be the upstairs double bedroom. This room has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and desk. The double bed will be shared by the two guests on the booking if booked for 2 people. If guests book the property for 3 or 4 people then the additional room is downstairs with a comfy, king size sofa bed. Alternatively, if two guests wish to stay, but have a bed each (the double bed and sofa bed), please book for 3 people and I will set up both rooms before arrival.
    Close to Swansea Bay beach (5 minutes) as well as the bars and restaurants of Uplands (8 minute walk). Happy to provide recommendations!

    *Bedroom 2* We have a 3 bedroom semi detached house with sea view available. Three double rooms are available, all with sea views and one with balcony as well (Bedroom 3). Transport: Situated close to Train, Coach and Bus stations- all within minutes of walking distance. Amenities: City Centre is just 5 minutes away with many shops, cafes and restaurants. A Tesco extra is just down the road 2/3 minutes away. Swansea Bay and Marina are about 15 minutes walk away.
    We have a garage at the back should you need it as well as off road parking. Sea view from 3 rooms and balcony.
    Town is 5 minutes walk away, with many places for shopping and eating. A Tesco Express Supermarket is down the road. The house is situated between the bus/coach station (Quadrant) and Swansea Train Station- Both less than 10 minutes walk away.

    Here I have a lovely smell and Cosy 2bedroom house , in the quiet village of waunarlwydd,Only 5miles just off junction 47 m4. Only 3.5miles drive to the Gower and just 5miles to the local city centre.Within walking distance there’s 2 lovely restaurants called the grill house and the farmers arms and a friendly public free house the masons,also 3 local shops, petrol garage and Tesco extra only 1.5 miles This house is completely set up only for guests so will hopefully feel like a home from home.
    Guests have access to the entire home as it’s completely set up for guests only.
