We had an amazing time at the cottage. We traveled from Toronto which was an easy drive with even easier directions. The cottage featured everything listed in the description and more, making for a perfect getaway from the city. We enjoyed the bikes, the kayaks, the hiking, the swimming, the dock, the deck with fire pit, the BBQ, basically everything! There was plenty of hot water which made the jacuzzi tub an awesome option on a few rainy occasions. We were very well stocked with food and beverages, which we would strongly recommend to any potential cottagers. There is very little in the way of shops in the near area. We were looking for a more secluded cottage experience and this place really delivered. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fully modernized cottage on a quiet lake with great wilderness on your doorstep.
We had five wonderful days at Wendy and Drew's vacation cabins. The weather was a little cloudy the first few days, but our last day was full of swimming and enjoying the water. It was a beautiful place and secluded as advertised. There were some other houses on the bay but the nights sitting by the fire were quiet and peaceful. We canoed and kayaked with the watercraft provided. The lake and cabin were a wonderful place to unplug from technology and relax. John and Mollie.
Great place to spend a week-end! Wendy was a great host to deal with and was always very attentive to our questions. There was lots of room for our party whether we were sitting back and watching a movie or cooking an sitting down to a meal. The view from the deck is outstanding and the cottage is very close to some prime fishing spots. We would definitely stay again!
What a great location and the cottage was fantastic. I love having the two bunkies. The host was amazing with no hassles what so ever. We even had to change the date at the last minute and she was very accommodating. We will be going back hopefully next year. If I had the balls to complain about one thing I guess it would be the water. It was a little muddy coming out of the tap but after you ran it a bit it was fine. If you like bass then the fishing was amazing. First night I had about 45 minutes in the kayak (provided) and pulled in the first dinner with four 3 lb. (aprox) bass.
Wendy and Drew were amazing hosts, they were extremely communicative, they kept me up to date on any problems or news that may arise up to the day that we arrived at the cottage. There was only one slight communication problem, the Ad did not state that blankets were not included but since the problem was on their end, they fixed the problem in a timely fashion. We had sheets and comforters by the following morning, since we arrived late in the day. The cottage was amazing, the gift basket was well received and we utilized everything in it, thank you emensely. Kayaking, canoeing, swiming, and hiking in and around the cottage was spectacular and we had no reason to wander too far. The board games provided also lent to a few nights of entertainment and laughter around the kitchen table, drinking and catching up. The patio fire pit was also well used, and thanks again for the bug spray we put it to good use the local bug life is quite aggressive. We had no water one night due to the pump giving out, but that just gave us the opportunity to experience a taste of real camping since we had to bathe in the lake that night, an experience we joked about incesently, along with bringing up the buckets of water from the lake for the toilet. Drew had a new pump installed the following morning, thanks for the prompt service. All in all our stay was amazing, my friends and I will have many stories, pictures, and memories that include your cottage and all were positive. Thanks for taking good care of us and responding to our concerns so promptly and efficiently. Sebastian, Greg, and Doug
We absolutely loved our stay at Wendy's cottage on Lake Kipawa. Upon arriving to the cabin, we were greeted with a gift basket of assorted treats and thoughtful souvenirs for our trip. Wendy was very responsive to all of my inquiries and provided as much information as possible so that we could get the most out of our stay - she even provided an extra kayak to accommodate all of our guests. The cabin was charming and comfortable and the surrounding area was pristine and beautiful. I would definitely recommend this listing to anyone who would like to experience a peaceful getaway in Quebec.
Wendy did a magnificent job communicating with my wife and me. She answered our questions quickly and honestly every time we asked something of her. The cabins were as described and the location was beautiful. Your outdoor deck that connected the cabins was spectacular space for outdoor time both day and night, and the dock was wonderful for sunbathing during the magnificent weather we enjoyed. It made for a super spot for jumping into the cool depths of the lake beyond! Watching and listening to the kingfishers, gray jays and warblers was incredible. The lake was wonderful for swimming, kayaking and canoeing, though you do have neighbors in the Baie Dorval who should be more polite when moving through such a bay. FIshing in a lake like Kipawa was an experience that taught me much. Drew's map was a blessing and very helpful. If only my boat motor would not have failed on me at the end of week one! We were fortunate to get to stay in such a wonderful place as your cabins, and were grateful for Wendy's responsiveness and information. Many blessings to you and your family as you enjoy this location for years to come. We will always think fondly on our time at Lac Kipawa and in the Baie Dorval!
Wendy and Drew were great hosts! Super helpful and responsive leading up to our trip. The cottage itself is on a beautiful spot and packed with all the amenities one could need!

absolutely awesome. Such a great place and amazing location. Suzie was so helpful and could not have asked for a better place and host

My stay at IL Destino was perfect. Marisol met me at the door, showed me the apartment and made sure I had everything I needed. The apartment was spacious, very clean and very quiet. There are loads of local stores, restaurants and of course the wonderful Jean Talon Market. I would definitely stay there again!
Great location to stay in Montreal! A visited a friend's wedding and stayed for a week in Il Destino. It served really well. First of all, to be on the ground floor with the little harden in the back is a real plus. Upon arrival everything was tidy, clean and spotless. The bed slept great as well. There were plenty of towels to use and also some toiletry (like shower gel etc.) is provided. The hosts are very communicative and flexible, check-in and -out went very smooth. Definitely recommended!
Marisol was really welcoming and left me a handwritten note with the keys because I was arriving late in the evening and needed some flexibility with my check in. I met her the second day of my stay and she was lovely. The space was simple, economical, and the location was very convenient for getting to the Beaubien metro and the Jean-Talon Market.
Very clean with all the amenities and no intrusion whatsoever! Will definitely be back again!
Marisol's place was very clean and cozy with everything we needed for our short stay in Montreal. The apartment is located in the Little Italy neighbourhood and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Although we were not travelling with children, I would also recommend this place for families, as it is located directly across the street from one park and a block away from another. Marisol's place is truly a gem - conveniently located, comfortable, and super clean!
warm welcoming words, coffee, tea, all essentials were provided on my arrival. Just a warm person was there to meet me. A place I would go back too.
We really enjoyed our stay at Il Destino and in Montreal's Little Italy. We park the car when we get there - and either walk or take the Metro everywhere. The apartment is cozy and comfortable and feels like a home away from home to us. And Marisol and Beat are wonderful hosts!

Staying at Esther's place was the perfect Montreal experience. She was very easy to communicate with and check in was a breeze. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The apartment is located in a great spot with Rue Saint Denis and Avenue Mont-Royal only a couple of blocks away. Many, many great restaurants, cafes and shops are within walking distance. For a true Montreal experience I recommend you book with Esther.
We did not meet Esther during our stay but there was good communication before and during our stay. At our arrival the place was ready and really is exceptional in many ways. The decor showed excellent taste and was a quiet, comfortable place to unwind after a long day out. It is conveniently located near the subway, restaurants, and Bixi bike rental stands. The Parc Lafontaine is a couple blocks away and a great place for a walk or picnic. A short 8-10 minute walk to the Sherbrooke subway station and you have quick and easy access to Old Montreal, Little Italy, etc. We parked our car and bought a 3-day metro pass. Non-permit parking seems to be limited to a few spaces on each block. We found a space in front of the apartment and left our car there the whole time except for Friday afternoon when cars have to be removed between 1:30-2:30 pm for street cleaning. The parking sign restrictions are in French only so take care not to park in spaces requiring a permit sticker. There is also pay parking in the area. One block over is Duluth St. with many restaurants. We liked Eduardo's Italian Restaurant with good food and reasonable prices. It along with many others is BYOB. This is one of the nicest places we have stayed at with Airbnb and would gladly return.
Esther's Unique Loft is "as advertised"...located in the Plateau district, cafes, markets, bars, restaurants, ATM's, Metro all located within walking distance and most of Montreal is a $10 cab ride away. The photo accurately depict the loft space. I loved it and so did my Montreal friends who stopped by. Esther is very helpful, prompt to reply to any queries and and even offer a few Montreal tips! If you're planning on visiting Montreal for a long weekend or extended stay, Esther's loft is ideal: lots of space, fully equipped kitchen to prepare a meal and you'll feel at home from hour #1.
Esther greeted us as we arrived-very welcoming & offered assistance with anything we might need. The location was exceptional! Great neghborhood in Montreal! The apartment was just as it was pictured and described. Very clean, very comfortable and attrractive. We would highly recommend staying here when visiting Montreal!!
The place was awesome!
Our Host Esther, was awesome. Always an immediate response to whatever text we sent...and we did ask her a hundred questions!
My girlfriend and I absolutely loved this apartment. The location is perfect if you like to bike. Beautiful neighbourhood with easy access to all the nice areas, cafes, restaurants, bars, parks, etc. The apartment itself is gorgeous for a basement. It's just like the pictures and more. Very clean, no shortage of power outlets and lighting options. Esther was a great host. She offered fresh towels upon our arrival and gave us a few tips about the area.
Esther is so lovely and made us feel very welcome. The apartment is amazing and located in our favorite area of Montreal. She made communication and check in/out so easy, and was accommodating when we were running late on our arrival. This will be my go to spot to stay in Montreal. I very highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing experience, not one problem. Place comes fully stocked with tons of extra bedding and towels. Minor issue with the door lock, but Rod sent someone out to fix it right away with no problem. Highly recommend this Airbnb for a larger group who wants to party. Can't say enough positive things. Thanks again Rod!!
Great spot! Everything is exactly as advertised. There was a small issue with the projector, but with a few text messages, they were over in an hour to fix it. Great service, great location. 10/10 would recommend
Awesome place; completely made the bachelor party. Rod's awesome and is very quick to help with any issues you might have. Plus it's close to a lot of great places. Highly recommend for any large parties.
Rod was great, he brought us a case of beer.
Great weekend at Rod's place in Montreal! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay. Would give 6 stars if I could.

My stay at Will's place was great. There was a metro stop, grocery store and pharmacy within walking distance. He provided tons of maps and resources. The room was very comfortable. Will was very hospitable and made me feel comfortable in his space. I would highly recommend staying at Will's place in Montreal.
Will was a great host. He was very accommodating and respectful of our privacy. His apartment was as pictured and very clean. I would highly recommend.
Will is an incredibly hospitable host. He is quick to respond and very forthcoming with fabulous restaurant, sight and nightlife recommendations, while maintaining a very clean and modern flat. It made our visit to Montreal all the more perfect, and we'd book his space in a heartbeat the next time our travel plans call for a visit to this belle ville / beautiful city.
"Great" doesn't even describe how lovely, how elegant, and well done this whole experience was. Will's apartment really is a gem, and he's a great host. Plus, he's so kind and very helpful, always trying to make sure we knew where we were going and offering suggestions (because we didn't come with a whole plan). His suggestions were on point and we have to say he made our visit to Montreal (which we loved) complete. Plus, the location of the apt is perfect, we walked to everything from there.
Will is a very friendly host. The apt is very clean and beautifully decorated. The location is centrally located and close to all the bars/restaurants on St Denis. We'd certainly stay there again when visit Montreal again.
Will's apartment is not only as it's described but actually exceeds expectations in my mind. Communication was easy with Will from my initial inquiry through to departure. The apartment is in a super convenient area and Will explained where the local shops were form things such as pharmacy, supermarket, liquor store etc... all within a 5-8minute walk max. It was a really simple check in process at the apartment and, coming from a central NYC apartment, it definitely provided the "wow" factor upon arrival. Spacious rooms, fabulous kitchen and bathroom, a contemporary look and feel, all set in a peaceful location with excellent facilities. It left me with the feeling of wanting to move right in permanently. This is the perfectocation for getting around on foot or the subway is a little over a block away. For me personally this was the perfect apartment and I have nothing but praise for everything: communication, location, amenities and the apartment itself as well as the host! You won't regret a stay at this apartment
Will is definitely a super host with a great apartment. Clean, modern and very well located, it's one of the best options in Montreal, for sure! :)
Loved staying with Will. The place was extremely clean and he left little toiletries out in case we needed them. It was very easy to arrive and find the keys. The unit is very close to a major metro transfer station making getting around the city easy.

Evgeny was nothing short of a great host. Was in contact before with Evgeny before during and after my trip and he made sure everything was to our liking and worked around our travel times. The house is exactly like the pictures and we had a great time. If you travel to Montreal with a group....this is the spot to be
This house is beautiful. It is an excellent place for a group of guys to bond and have some fun. It is in a great location near downtown Montreal where you have access to bars and clubs. There is plenty of space in the home and it is well designed to accommodate everyone. We would all stay here again.
very clean and spacious.we enjoyed our stay. it fit 8 people very well.
We stayed here with a group of 8 friends. Even for a group of this size, the house was really spacious, cozy and comfortable. Only downside might be that it is located a fair distance away from the centre or the nearest subway station (20 minute walk). Even taking that into account we would really recommend this place.
This house was fantastic! Very clean and plenty of rooms to stay if you are staying with a large family. All the appliances were new and the living space had a nice large tv. We also enjoyed the quiet patio out back that led into the grassy backyard. There is a nice little cafe just walking distance from the house that we had breakfast at almost every morning and the at water market was only a little more than a mile away. The owner of the home was great and was quick to respond when we had any questions before and during our stay. We would definitely recommend this home if you are planning to visit Montreal.
Great house, we hosted a Christmas dinner for our family who have condos. Very accommodating, and the beds were very comfortable. Would be happy to go back next time I am in Montreal!
Thank you Evgeny, Check in was very simple, and it is very similar to a Chalet experience only 10mins from downtown!! Your house accommodated us very nicely!
My family stayed at this place and I have to tell you it's awesome, very clean and the owner provided everything that we needed. This is a great place to stay in Montreal as it is close to downtown and most of the tourist spots. I would definitely recommend this place. Thanks Evgeny for having us !!!

Amazing stay! Great location, comfortable house with all the amenities.
We had a wonderful 2 nights and our hosts were very helpful. The loft is beautiful and very clean. It is located right in the center of Old Montreal. Everything was right out the door. Our hosts had thought of everything from snacks in the fridge to maps and tourist information. We highly recommend this loft to everyone. One of the best Airbnb places that we have stayed in!
Beautiful place and great hosts - would definitely stay here again. Neighbourhood was very accessible and had a bunch of cool restaurants and pubs nearby. Checkin, communication, and checkout were all easy. Excellent value as well! Thanks Ratha and Kelly!
Kelly was waiting for us when we arrived late at 8pm. Showed us all the details needed. Had numerous points of information (taxi, eateries, etc) well organized. Apartment was pleasant, well equipped with dishes, etc and very clean.
Ratha met us (my wife and I, and our four kids, ages 9-13) at the condo, which is smack in the middle of the Old Port, upon our arrival in town. In fact, we arrived early so that we could get to a soccer match at the Olympic Stadium, and Ratha allowed us to get checked in early to drop our luggage in the condo, give us the keys, show us the rooms, etc. He and I communicated several times leading up to the visit regarding train schedules, etc. This personal touch was better than anything you could get from simple internet searches. He was an excellent host. The condo was as advertised. It is beautiful, charming, clean, and very nicely decorated. Plenty of sleeping space and extra bedding. The A/C upstairs was a life-saver as it was close to 90-degrees outside during our visit. There were one or two additional fans as well. The condo has everything you could need -- shiny new washer/dryer, lots of supplies for the bathroom, Netflix, etc. We did not use any, but the kitchen appeared to be well-stocked with staples. Ratha has lots of information for tourists scattered about the condo (train schedules, restaurants, running routes, etc.). No parking with the condo, but we parked less than two blocks away in a large hotel lot for $20/day. I think there were a couple of slightly cheaper lots ($15-18/day) nearby as well, but they are outdoors. This was our first trip to Montreal. We only stayed for a couple of nights, but we really enjoyed ourselves. The area (Old Port) is charming and fun, with lots of restaurants, shops, people-watching, and energy, close to metro and train stations, waterfront activities, museums, Cirque Du Soleil, science museum, historic buildings, etc. If we return to Montreal, we would stay here again without reservation.
Where to start? I mean, wow. Ratha is an amazing host, the apartment is absolutely stunning and the location is killer. Communication was flawless from booking to arrival to checkout. Ratha let us drop off our bags early while the apartment was being cleaned so we could explore the city without lugging them around (also gave us a tip on where to avoid jaywalking ;)). The space itself is drool-worthy nice to the point where we almost wanted to just hang out there rather than explore the city. The beds were so comfortable, I had to the best night's sleep I've ever had traveling. And there were even individual toiletry baskets for each guest, which was a nice touch. Location-wise, the Old Port is right out your door and other neighborhoods are a moderate (and scenic) walk or quick Uber/bus/Metro ride away. It's a great basecamp for exploring the city. I would absolutely stay here again.
Hosts were outstanding - extremely responsive and happy to go the extra mile. Apartment was exactly as advertised and location is superb. We were fully satisfied with every aspect of this great weekend.
Our stay at this condo was everything we hoped it would be. The location was incredible, the condo was clean and they had supplied everything we might need for a comfortable stay. I would recommend this place to anybody!

Rogers place was lovely and spacious. Very comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay! Would definitely recommend to others!
We were very happy with our experience. I started corresponding with Roger the day before. We drove by earlier to make sure we knew where we were going. Roger wasn't available to meet us so had his friend greet us and explain everything which was wonderful. This being our first airbnb experience, I wasn't totally sure what to expect but all of our expectations were met or exceeded. The unit was clean and private. The parking space was a must for us. The area was great. We went for a walk and found a couple of restaurants we would have loved to try out but we just weren't hungry. Thought about going back out for dessert later but fell asleep so missed out. Also found a great convenience store that has just about anything you may need. I would definitely like to go back and spend more time there. Thank you for a great experience!
The place was amazing. Roger was great with communication and ensured our stay was beyond comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again!
Overall, I had a great experience staying at Roger's place. The apartment looked exactly like the pictures, and included great amenities. The only thing that could use some improvement was the WiFi, which wasn't too strong. The neighborhood is quiet, yet still close to the metro and to downtown.
This place is very modern, everything is very nice. Roger is very nice, he wrote down the directions for me to get the place I wanted to go.
Had a great time staying at Roger's place. Excellent off street parking and it was very clean. This is a great location, close to everything in Montreal. The off street parking was a huge added benefit!
Roger was great. He text a few days before with all of the directions and "the need to knows" about the apt. The apt itself was just as pictured, shower was amazing and the brand new washer and dryer were an added plus. Highly recommended!

He found lodging in a tavern and set up his printing press in a building on rue Capitale (a lane running from St-Sulpice to St-François-Xavier, South of St. Paul street, north of de la Commune street). There used to be a plaque in the lane that for some reason is no longer there! Fleury did not leave with the revolutionaries and ended up founding the Montreal Gazette, it is still printed today, pick one up. The old Montreal GAZETTE building on St Jaques street now a hotel. LaPresse still have their offices on the corner of St. Laurent and St Jacques street. Le Devoir started on St. Vincent street as did the first publishing houses in Canada. Old Montreal started as a religious mission and later a fur trading post. It was founded by the Sulpician order from France. They built a copy of Notre Dame Church in Paris on Notre Dame street. I have been to both and can tell you that our interior is much more impressive. Montreal was home to many Blacksmiths in the early days as to produce metal instruments to trade with the natives for fur. The furs were traded around present day Place Royale and the lanes to the east and west of the square. Samuel de Champlain founded Ville Marie in 1642 at Pointe De Caliere where a small stream met the river, today where Pointe a Callier museum sits. A statue to him sits in front of Notre Dame church on Place D Armes in the middle of a modern version of Place D Armes which used to be a Victorian Park. In front of Chateau Ramsey sits Montreal City hall (1872) a smaller version of Paris City hall and the first in Canada to be built solely for Municipal governance. In front of City Hall stands (Horatio) Nelson s Column(1809) on Place Jacques Cartier predates Nelson s column in trafalgar square In London England (1843). Across the street you will see bonsecours Market which was the parliament of Canada for a brief time. Also Notre Dame de Bonsecours Church founded by Marguerite Bourgeous. Walk out the door ,turn left and down the street from the apartment sits one of the founding fathers of Canada s residence. Sir George Etienne Cartier's residence in Montreal, at 458 Notre-Dame Street East, which is now the Sir George-Étienne Cartier National Historic Site dedicated to his life and achievements. It also serves to recall the architectural heritage and lifestyles of the upper middle class of 19th century Montreal. He helped found Canada along with Sir John A. Mcdonald, The CP railroad, The civil code (still used today), Grand Trunk Railroad (Old Head Office on Mcgill street), and have British Columbia join confederation, Creating the Province of Manitoba, Negotiating the purchase of Rupert s land and The Northwest Territories. You are in his neighbourhood, along with Jacques Viger, Joseph Papineau, Renee Levesque, Pauline Marois, to name a few. Canada s wall street (St Jacques street formerly St James street) where all the first head offices of Canadian banks were opened. the first on Place D Armes the Bank of Montreal (1847) Pantheon like building. Open a bank account at this branch, the transit number is 0001 as it was the first bank in Canada! The birthplace of Canadian banking on 113 St. Paul street east, where you will find a plaque commemorating the site of the first Bank of Montreal and the birthplace of Canadian banking. Still with me? This is only minutes from the apartment...get the picture? Well Old Montreal today is a lot like Old Montreal of yesterday. Politics, cafes, culture, Social events and life. The Old Port hosts the Igloofest in February which is a four weekend Techno party outside in the winter weather with ten thousand Vintage ski suit clad partiers dancing to the finest techno on the planet. I know un imaginable you should see the look of disbelief on the artists faces when they see the scene before them. Montreal's Cirque du Soleil World Premieres all it s new shows in May every year here in the Old Port. We are home to the best nightclubs in the city along with lively bars and Parisian style outdoor cafe s and yes some tourist traps that are not so bad. We are home to some of the best chef s in the country concocting their wizardry in the most antique and unique of settings. There is an impressive list of Art galleries starting around the corner on Bonsecours street and rounding onto Rue St. Paul all the way to Mcgill street an impressive display of Art in the windows of these galleries as we walk along this Art gallery route. Old Montreal In very recent years it has been developed in some cases the right way in other cases for pure greed. It started to be torn down until Mayor Jean Drapeau ( there is a statue of him in a park in front of city hall) protected it. A fight that carries on today! Unfortunately over the years dull minded individuals have not respected it when trying to make a profit. Luckily much of it is intact and a well kept secret I would like to share with you. Stay away from the overpriced hotels here as their greed is destroying the first Cold Storage facility and super market in Montreal the Gunn Langlois dry goods and cold storage market between St. Vincent street and Place Jacques Cartier. Don t encourage them please, they are destroying my neighbourhood. A nine story blemish in our old neighborhood completely against the zoning laws, and our protected heritage. Other s like the Gault Hotel on ste Helene street which is housed in North America s first YMCA, did a commendable job of restoring a heritage building. Ste Helene street is the only street in Montreal to have gas lanterns of yesteryear a little known fact. I invite you to visit, daydream, fantasize about the past, live for the present in my neighbourhood which I dearly cherish. Stay in the shadow of the Angels guarding our port atop the Notre Dame de Bonsecours church sandwiched between art Galleries, Celebrity chef s, founders of nations, Parliaments of nations, on the step to the gateway to the New World! There is a bixi stand right near the flat where you can rent bicycles by the hour and drop them off in other parts of the city. We are right next to the bike path that connects the city and continues along the Old Port and Lachine Canal. There are a metro and bus stops close by. St. Paul street pedestrian walkway is 1 block from the apartment. Take a water taxi across the street in the Old Port to St Helen s Island. Great outdoor patio very rare in Old Montreal!read more
Nelson's apartment was amazing! You cannot beat the location - right in the middle of Old Town Montreal and within walking distance of all the sights and great restaurants/bars. It was also just a couple blocks from the metro so it was easy to get around to other parts of the city as well. The actual apartment was beautiful and clean - just as it's shown in the pictures. Wish it had been warmer so that we could have enjoyed the back deck! Nelson was very communicative and accommodating. We could not have asked for a better host. His friend Steven let us in to the apartment when we arrived and he was also very nice and helpful. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend staying at Nelson's. We hope to be able to come back soon!
Great place! Perfect location! The place was clean, spacious and exactly (if not nicer) in person. It was so warm and welcoming, I will definitely return!
The space was perfectly located and exactly as described. There were three of us staying in the apartment and it was a wonderful layout with two separate bedrooms and a nice big common area. We loved it and would highly recommend!
Pictures and description are 100% accurate.
Nelson is an extremely helpful and gregarious host - his love and energy and Montreal were especially infectious! He provided us with tons of great recommendations (only wish we stayed longer and was able to enjoy the Montreal culinary scene even more) and all the small gestures (the beverages and snacks, ample fluffy towels, setting up the day bed) were much appreciated. The apartment is very charming and perfect for a group of friends. I echo one of the other reviewers re: the door front (which is across the street from the building in the first photo), the outside facade of the building may not look like much but hides a gem inside. Look forward to staying again
Nelson was very welcoming and accommodating! He was the perfect host and such positive energy! He even drove us to our dinner reservations, which we were running late. I recommend his place and will most definitely stay there again. Great place in Old Montreal! Thanks Nelson!
Nelson was a top-notch host. The apartment is in a pristine location in Old Montreal and was clean, comfortable and perfect for our weekend trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Nelson's location was a big part of that.
Nelson was very helpful and easy to communicate with beforehand, and Steven was very helpful upon arriving and while there. The place as as described, perhaps even better, and the location was absolutely fantastic. Great part of the city, cute, fun, well-located, and lots to see and do. Very comfortable stay for 3 of us, and couple easily get by with 4-5.

Jing's place was beautiful and just as expected. Great location downtown with easy access to Metro and walking distance to great restaurants and cultural spots.
Jing's condo was the perfect accommodation for staying in downtown Montreal. The location was close to metro stops, shopping, and entertainment. Perfect for pedestrians! The condo was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. The building was quiet and modern. Kitchen was well equiped. Washing solutions provided for dishwasher and laundry was a bonus. Check in and check out was a breeze. I would be very happy to stay here in the future when visting Montreal. My best airbnb rental to date :)
We had a wonderful stay at Jing's place. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The view was beautiful and the apartment was very conveniently located. It was a less than ten minute walk to the metro and a five minute walk to Catherine street which had lots of shops and restaurants. Overall, our stay was perfect and we will definitely plan on staying here again when we return to Montreal. Jing was responsive and kept in touch prior to and during our trip. She was a great host.
We loved staying here! So much of Montreal was within walking distance, and it was nice to come "home" to our own space every night.
We had a lovely stay at Jing's flat – as you can see in the pictures, the place is beautiful, spacious and bright. It was very well-located – we were blessed with good weather in November, and we walked everywhere. The flat is very well-equipped with appliances and cookware. Though we never met Jing in person, communication was excellent and the check-in process went very smoothly. I would highly recommend Jing's flat for anyone visiting Montréal!
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Jing's place. The place was very neat and modern. It's located just a 10 minute walk around the downtown core. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would without doubt recommend her listing.
Such a well designed and cozy apartment. It's the perfect size and well equipped for a stay of any duration. We miss staying there already! Jing is a great host and very easy to get in contact with if necessary. Highly recommended!
Jing's apartment is very cozy and clean, the walking distance from Central Station to her place is within 20 minutes, about 6 or 7 minutes to LUCIEN-L'ALLIER station of the metro orange line on foot. So we were very convenient to go everywhere and saw a lot of beautiful scenery in Montreal. Jing arranged a very easy check-in and check-out way, the apartment gave us a warm and homey feeling. We highly recommend Jing's apartment to everyone.

Excellent overall experience. Everything was as described and the host made sure we were comfortable while we were there. Would recommend to anyone.
The apartment was exactly as advertised; very convenient location, clean, nice space with a great view! Svetlana and her husband Karim we're very helpful and got back to us right away whenever we had an inquiry. A great place to stay in Montreal for sure!
We had an awesome time staying at Svetlana's apartment. The beds were all set up and made for us. Everything was extremely clean, just like the photos. They were very responsive when trying to get in touch about check-in. They called to see how our trip was going and were extremely helpful. They event had bagels and orange juice for us in the fridge. The location could not have been more perfect, right by the metro and lots of restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend staying here!

Svetlana was easy to communicate with, the location is great. Parking was a little tight, but definitely manageable. If I come back to Montreal, I would definitely return to her apartment.
Great location. Host was very accomadating.
Apartment is super clean and comfortable. Our host reached out multiple times to check on us, and even traveled in the storm to provided a snow shovel for our car. Best part is the location-downtown but cozy.

We absolutely loved the location as it was a very short walk (5-10min) to the Bell Centre and St. Catherine Street which was super convenient for us! Building is very safe and secure. Beautiful spot, I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again in the future.
The apartment looked just like it did in the pictures. It was immaculate! We had everything we needed for the week. Also, someone was there to drop off the keys right after I texted Jing, which was fantastic.
There was a group of us in town and we rented two of Jing’s apartments. They were both lovely and very nice. Easy walking distance from several great shops and restaurants. Both apartments were recently updated and had nice finishes. There was plenty of room and the beds were very nice. Great bang for your buck. I would highly recommend these listings to anyone and would be happy to return. Jing was very responsive and made the stay logistics seamless.
Jing made everything easy for us. The condo was beautiful and looked just like the pictures. Couldn't get a better location. Would definitely recommend this condo and I would stay there again.
Jing's condo was very amazing. It was very spacious and very beautifully decorated. I have never seen a airbnb place that more beautifully decorated than this. Also the condo was very well equipped. I could find everything what I needed there from silverware to oven, microwave, even seasoning. Location is very great too! Short walking to two subway stations, line 1 and 2. Also restaurants and shops are very close. Only two three blocks away from Rue St Catherine. I didn't have a chance to see the host but Jing was very nice and kindly gave me the intruction for the check in and check out.
Everything was just as described! Very clean and chic place. Jing's step-by-step instructions were very helpful for getting into the apartment and finding parking during my one night stay. I definitely recommend staying with Jing if you ever find yourself in Montreal :) !
The place was great! Close to everything we need to go! We had total of 6 adults and fit all! We have no complaints about the apartment. Thank you again.
Jing's place was great for the 2 nights we stayed in Montreal. The location was convenient and very walkable to shopping, restaurants and the Bell Centre. He was always available when we needed him or had questions.

Great house. Great host. Plenty of space and very clean. We walked to most destination or quickly caught a cab on St. Laurent a few blocks away.
The space was ideal for a family vacation, in a terrific neighborhood. Walking distance to many sights as well as the Metro. Diane had a well-stocked kitchen and made clear we could use whatever we liked. And we did.
We had a very good experience at this place. Diane was an extremely welcoming and accommodating host. The place is beautiful and the location couldn't be better. I booked the entire place for a big groups of friends and everyone was very happy with the house. Highly recommended.
We had a bachelor party in Montreal with 10 people and this house was perfect for it. Diane was an incredible host. Very easy going and friendly. She made the trip as easy as possible for us. The house had plenty of room for all of us and the location couldn't be beat. The neighborhood is beautiful with great restaurants, lots to do, and is walking distance from the Jazz Festival that was going on the weekend we were there. Thanks for everything, Diane!
This property and location were perfect for a reunion weekend for seven girlfriends and we had the most wonderful time. We felt like we were in the heart of the city; just a short (5-30 min) walk to most landmarks, museums and shopping, as well as restaurants and bars. This character home is pleasant and well stocked. The beds were comfortable with plenty of linens. The dining/living space provided a convenient common area for our group to share breakfast and socialize. Temperatures were a little too chilly to take advantage of the outdoor patio, but imagine this would be a great addition to warmer stays. Diane was a gracious and generous host. She responded quickly to questions leading up to our reservation, greeted us with a warm welcome upon arrival, and left us to truly make ourselves at home. Our reservation and stay was seamless. I highly recommend Diane's property for group stays in the heart of Montreal.
Had a great stay! Always there when I called and very helpful. Apartment was very spacious.
Diane's place is an absolutely beautiful, renovated turn-of-the-century building. Six of us (co-workers) stayed here for 4 days, and everyone had plenty of room and enjoyed themselves. The bedrooms are lovely, and the common spaces are inviting and wonderful to spend time in. We cooked in the kitchen and ate in, and always found what we needed. Diane is great at responding promptly to questions and was present both for check-in and check-out. She made sure we had everything we needed. The location is also excellent; steps from St. Laurent in the Plateau. We ate a delicious breakfast at Juliette & Chocolat, and Schwartz's is just up the street. We walked to Mont Royal (about 30 mins following Ave des Pins) and climbed to the top of the mountain. The neighbourhood is eclectic and vibrant - very close to Place des Arts and walking distance from countless bars, shops, and cultural centres. I would stay here again, and I would recommend it to anyone who is visiting Montreal.
Excellent location and a terrific deal.

My mom & I had a lovely stay at Kim & Will's apartment. They were very helpful and informative when it came to deciding what to do during our stay, and very welcoming and hospitable, letting us use their kitchen to cook dinner and laundry room if we needed it. Their dogs are the cutest and friendliest toy poodles ever - a constant source of entertainment. Overall, a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!
Great place to stay, had a wonderful time in Montreal! I brought my puppy with me and he also had a wonderful time playing with Kim andWill 's puppies. I felt welcomed.
kim y will are amazing they really made us feel comfortable and welcome, the have the cutest dogs ever, the apartment has is exactly as shown in photos, The neighborhood is fine, the apartment is like 4 blocks from metro station, there are several restaurants around; kim will show you which one are the best. we definitely recommend this apartment and if we go back to canada, would be awesome to stay with them again.
Lovely apartment in a great neighborhood! Kim and Will are awesome hosts, very friendly, helpful and communicative. I really had a nice time in Montreal.
Although we weren't around much, Kim & Will were great and everything went smoothly. Their apartment is as clean and stylish as described and the neighbourhood is very cool. I would definitely love to stay there again!
This was an ideal place for our stay in Montreal. What I look for more than anything else is the cleanliness of the place. Kim & Will's place was clean like my own place. The window gives you enough light. The room is small but still had room for all of our things. The bed was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had what we needed. The location is very accessible by metro. The place is walking disdance to two metor stations. It appears to be accessible by bus too but we never tried that as the weather was nice and we just walked to stations. The neighborhood is interesting, I know that from a previous stay, this time around we did not get the chance to explore the neighborhood. We met with Kim, but did not get the chance to meet Will as we were out both days till late in the evening. Kim is very friendly and helpful, easy to get along. The two dogs are very cute and playful. I definitly recommend this place for your stay.
Want a warm welcome, great condo and fantastic St Henri location Kim and Will share with their guests. Although we hardly saw them, their place is completely comfortable the experience was effortless in every way. We loved our little moments with Rosie and Billie-Jean and meeting Kim's great mom, too.
Totally loved staying with Kim and Will. Living in a local neighborhood with the "locals". Convenient to good restaurants, market, public transportation, walking and biking trails. They are delightful, welcoming hosts and would gladly stay with them again. Love the dogs too!

A real pleasure as usual.
Awesome place, very convenient, Andrei was helpful and provided a lot of info when we got there. Highly recommended
The apartment was perfect for our needs (and super cute). I can't imagine a better location, either: a short walk from the green and orange lines, which got us everywhere we'd planned to go, and we were within walking distance of Rue St. Catherine, Crescent Street, the Musee de Beaux Arts, Mont Royal (great jogging spot!), and lots of other cool areas/attractions. Andrei was descriptive with instructions and available to help us out if we needed, but left us alone to enjoy our stay, which suited us just fine. He also had suggestions for places to go and lots of guide materials for sight-seers. Also: the view from the balcony CANNOT be beat. The only issues we ran into were that the Internet gave us trouble on our last night (only a big deal if you have to work during your trip), and we had a bit of confusion figuring out how to get up from the parking garage without the key card when we first arrived, but we got it sorted in less than 5 minutes. We loved our stay and would definitely rent this apartment again!
This apartment was a perfect location( right next to the bell center, shopping, restaurants) and if you don't mind walking a bit further even old Montreal and Mount Royal park are walking distance ( took us about 45 mins each) The apartment had everything we needed to be comfortable and to cook our meals. We especially loved the view from the 3 large kitchen windows and from the padio! The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the atmosphere of the entire apartment! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others ! The host Andrei was accommodating , friendly and always responded to us very quickly! And all the little extras he has in the apartment made us feel like home! Thanks again Andrei & once again another lovely Airbnb choice! Kevina
Amazing place very friendly host conveniently located overall awesome experience
The place was great and an awesome location. We had no issues and Andrei was always checking in to see if everything was going well. I would recommend this place to a friend and consider going again.
My month-long stay (for business) at Andrei's place was the ideal Airbnb experience. The space was clean, modern and well-appointed. There is coin-operated laundry on the same floor. The building is conveniently located to transit, downtown and the shops and restaurants of St Catherine street. Although I did not get to meet Andrei, he was readily available to answer questions and attend to small issues. Whether you are making a short or long visit to Montreal, Andrei's place is a great home base.
Andrei was a great host! Accomodating and asy to get ahold of. His place is fantastic - so clean and a great location!!

The loft was even more beautiful in real life. Francois was an amazing host! Very accommodating.
Incredible loft in a convenient Old Montreal location. Didn't meet Francois but he was a great host.
The apartment was exactly like the photos, lovely high ceilings and lots of character, the bed was very comfortable and the location was just great. Though we were there a very short time, it fit our needs perfectly.
Definately a beautiful loft to go to if you are visiting Montreal. It is also very well located and has very cozy vibes, very clean and welcoming!
This is where you would want to stay in old Montreal. The loft is spectacular! Minutes walking distance from Notre Dame, galleries, restaurants and shops! Definition worth the money! Francois was an awesome host
Francois made check-in simple and straightforward. His loft is centrally located in Old Montreal. It is spacious and well-equipped. Thanks, Francois!
What a beautiful place!! Francois was great to have as a host- very quick to respond to any questions! High windows with tons of light, great location for going pretty much anywhere in Montreal, and huge kitchen with all amenities (little store across the street with basic grocery and beer/wine was great too!). The loft is really spacious and kids love it. Location is so convenient!
Group of 5 stayed for a weekend in early September. The place was just as gorgeous as it is photographed and there was more then enough room. We were thrilled with everything the loft had to offer and the location was ideal for walking around, shopping, eating and getting a feel for Montreal. Lauren was a great host and was readily available to answer questions or concerns leading up to the trip and during. When we return to Montreal we will definitely be booking this loft again!!!
I stayed at Lauren's loft for Osheaga long weekend with 5 other girls for a bachelorette. We had an absolutely amazing time. The loft is very spacious and was more than enough room for the 6 of us. It is even more amazing in person than what is shown in the pictures. Lauren was very kind in having all of the beds prepared for us (there were 4 beds set up for the 6 of us, including a king sized bed), fresh towels, condiments/spices, etc. We felt right at home. The balcony overlooking St. Laurent street was perfect for enjoying our breakfast outdoors and for having a drink at night. The location is great, there are plenty of amazing restaurants, shops, and cafe's all within walking distance. Lauren was quick to return our inquiry about parking (there is one free parking space right around the corner), which was really helpful. We had a great time and hope to stay here again for our next trip to Montreal! Thank you Lauren!
This loft was perfect for our trip to Montreal. The location, size and convenience couldn't have been better. Lauren was very responsive to any questions/issues making this trip even better. I would recommend this place to everyone.
This was the best Airbnb I have stayed at without question. The pictures do not adequately capture the size of the loft (it's very spacious). Lauren was very warm and helpful with any questions I had. My group of 8 had more than enough room. Location was perfect as well.
Lauren's loft was in immaculate condition. Everything well marked and she was always quickly to respond. I would recommend this loft to anyone going to Montreal.
The condo is stunning. It's actually a lot more spacious than the pictures show. The location couldn't be better. And just down the street from Schwartz's! Check in and check out was a breeze, and parking was easier than I expected for the location. I will definitely be looking to stay here again in the future.
Lauren was amazingly helpful throughout the whole trip! The place is exactly what is looks like in the pictures except better. All 12 of my friends who stayed there said we were for sure coming back to Montreal and 100% staying at Lauren's place! Awesome spot! I 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

On a secluded alley like street, only meters from iconic Park Lafontaine in the Heart of trendy Plateau Mont-Royal (Parking included). This is it ! In the heart of the Plateau on a quiet alley like street, only meters from Park Lafontaine, Montreal’s Central Park – ok, it’s not as big, but we’re a smaller city. Although you don’t have a view of the Park, the advantage is that you are on a quiet street; technically it’s a street but functions more like an alley. (The Streetview version is inserted by Airbnb and not the host - the shot you see is actually nearby and not a view from the apt.) The apartment is a first floor 500 square foot loft style open space apartment, ideal for two. It was completely renovated in 2007 and upgraded in nov 2013. I have lived in the neighbourhood for over 25 years and have seen its evolution over the years, I actually live next door. The floors are hardwood and marble – new furnishings and fully stocked kitchen. (New added feature: expresso/cappuccino machine, and I don't mean the capsule type). You are 4 minutes away from the trendy restaurants and boutiques on Mount-Royal Avenue and a 18 minute walk to iconic St Denis Street – outdoor cafés and boutiques. There is a Bixi communal bike service (april - nov) 2 minute walk –the bike lane is on Rachel, the neighbouring Street. Velo Québec is 2 blocks away – for bike enthusiasts. The Metro (subway) is short distance (15 min) on Mount-Royal or if you prefer a longer route, you can walk through the park and catch the Sherbrooke St Station (18 min). Although Montreal hosts a series of outdoor festivals in the summer, Jazz, Just for Laughs, Francopholies in the downtown area ( 50 minute walk) - all the amenities you need are available on Mount Royal Avenue – restos , bars, liquor store, boutiques - the beer store, what we call Le Dépanneur is a minute away… Reserved Private Parking, in front of the studio, is included in the rental (unfortunately, only until June 30, 2017 - lease is not renewed) Free reserved parking till June 30 2017. Very vibrant If your driving or coming by cab remember that Bureau is just behind (north of) Rachel - approx 50 ft - since Bureau St is not a major street, it is common for taxi drivers not knowing it - important focal point would be Rachel and Garnier or Rachel and Fabre, in front of Park Lafontaine.read more
We booked this apartment for my parents, who were visiting family nearby. It was the perfect location and close to everything. Joseph was a gracious host who went out of his way to make their stay enjoyable and memorable. We give him and the accommodation our highest recommendation. When they go back to Montreal again this will be where they stay!
Joseph was a wonderful host who was able to welcome us even when we arrived at a late hour. The apartment interior is beautiful, and in a fantastic location. He provided a number of maps and up-to-date lists of the best things to see, do and eat in the city. 10/10 will definitely be returning for another stay. Thanks Joseph!
Joseph was the perfect host and the accommodation was absolutely amazing. The location was a beautiful area and within walking distance to a metro station that can take you anywhere you need to go in Montreal. The accommodation was clean, warm and very spacious for two people. Joseph was friendly and helpful and went far beyond what we expected of a host! Would definitely return there in the future!
Joseph is the definition of a superhost. His apartment was beautiful and provided everything a guest could need. Joseph welcomed us with beer, fruit, and a collection of maps and guide books that rivaled any I've seen in other Airbnb apartments or hostels. Joseph even brought us a sugar pie that Canadians often enjoy in late winter. The apartment was located near a metro station in a safe neighborhood. There is nowhere else I'd rather stay in Montreal - when I come back, I'll be looking for Joseph's availability first.
Fantastic stay at the studio! Perfect location and really convenient with parking. Joseph was great and so hospitable during our stay. Definitely recommend!
We were made to feel very welcome as Joseph was very friendly and knowledgable about the area. It was a nice touch to be provided with complimentary beers and juice! The photos didn't do the place justice. Enjoyed our stay
A pretty good and warm welcome ! Joseph is a nice person , he gave us a lot of advices. The appartment is quite big, confortable and central located. I just can suggest you to spend your holiday in Montreal, in this appartment.
Joseph's place was absolutely perfect for our short trip to Montreal. It was very clean and modern and was equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable (even a couple complimentary beers!). It was also within walking distance to bars and a subway stop, so was very convenient. Joseph greeted us shortly after we arrived and offered us some tips on where to go during our visit; he was really welcoming and sweet and set the tone for our entire trip (Montreal is awesome and everyone there was so nice and accommodating of us non-francophones ^^).

We had a great time at Eva and Alex's place this weekend. It was nice and clean upon our arrival. Situated in a great location close to trendy shops and delicious food. I would recommend this location for people visiting Montreal.
Alex made our family very welcome indeed (lovely coffee provided for the parents, water balloons for the children in the garden!) and the apartment was perfect - the photos represent it well and the location is fabulous. A quiet place but very close to a lively street (Av Mont Royal). Thanks Alex!
We have nothing but great things to say. We had a great stay with great communication both prior and during the stay. All felt very fresh and clean. Thanks for a great place and for being accommodating hosts!
The apartment was very cute and clean, and the location was perfect. There was street parking available right outside. My friends and I really enjoyed being within walking distance of so many wonderful restaurants and shops. Also, Eva and Alex were very responsive and helpful.
Eva and Alex's place was great to stay at, there was enough room for 4 people and it was located in a very nice spot. Having a washing machine was helpful too. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit in montreal thanks to this place!
This was a great place! It was very spacious, and clean. They made everything incredibly easy, they provided a very detailed manual so you know exactly what to do and also gave suggestions of things to do in the area. Their communication is beyond amazing, we had a problem with the wifi so we contacted them and they replied within 15 minutes with a solution! Our stay was magnificent and I would stay there again in a heart beat!
Great apartment and location.. having an backyard was an added bonus
The description and photographs were accurate and the back garden was really lovely to hang out when it got a bit hot in the apartment. Our hosts gave us all the information we needed and all in all we had a wonderful trip to Montreal thanks to our hosts. Great location too!

Eva & Alex were not present during our stay, but they made their place very accessible to us. The apartment was exactly as advertised & incredibly comfortable. We found the guide helpful & the location to be near perfect, as it was within walking distance to several shops, boutiques, & cafes. If we're ever back in Montreal, we'd definitely prefer to stay at Eva & Alex's place.
What a great location and great place to stay. Will definitely try to stay here again if/when we return to Montreal. Loved the decor, and appreciated the communication from the hosts and the amenities. We also loved the bagel place around the corner!
Great apartment in a great location. I throughly enjoyed my time here, and check-in was super easy considering Eva and Alex were away at the time. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore Montreal.
Super easy! Hosts messaged back promptly and left clear instructions for how to enter the apartment! Great neighbourhood and a great experience!
I'd recommend Eva & Alex's apartment to anyone. Clean, loads of character, located in a vibrant neighbourhood with easy access to the rest of the city.
Great experience! 2 great double beds, a nice little living room and a kitchen + patio. Great location too!
We had a great stay at the flat, situated in a very beautiful neighborhood of Montreal. The apartment is very charming and you find everything you need. Thank you Eva and Alex
This apartment was a great base for my friend and I to explore Montreal. We came with each of our babies and Eva and Alex provided a travel crib and bedding which meant we could travel with a lot less gear. They also told us where great parks were for little ones, which helped us get started. Best of all, the two bedrooms were on opposite sides of the apartment so our babies didn't wake each other up! The kitchen/living area was cheerful and easy to use. The back garden was a perfect toddler running ground. We were especially happy to have access to the washing machine and drying line. I'd recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Montreal!

Ludovic and Sylvie were really nice host and the place is awesome like in the picture if it is not more! Easy communication with Ludovic to prepare arrival. He was here upon arrival and gave us information and advices on place where to go in Montreal. Using the balcony door is very convenient especially when coming back late in the night and it also give privacy. Room, bathroom and other common place were very clean. Place close to the subway and really safe area of Montreal. I definitively recommend this place.
Wonderful people! Ludovic came to get me at the station even late at night, and it was only a few minutes walk to their place in a nice new building. The room was clean, roomy, well-decorated and perfect for me, with a nice bed for sleeping, and it's nice to have a private back entrance also. It's very close to Jarry Parc and the train station. I only heard the trains passing a couple of times, and it didn't wake me up or bother me at all. It's also close to good bus and subway connections to downtown Montreal. Ludovic's home=made bread should be famous in a city known for good bread. Everything was great, and I only wish I had more time to spend with these wonderful people.
Ludovic and Sylvie are such a wonderful couple! We were very lucky to stay with them. From the very first moment they made us feel welcome. The room is exactly as they described it. They made sure to give us all that we need to make our stay comfortable. They took the time to print information with the wifi password, indication of bus numbers, taxi phone numbers, a map of near by stores, etc They gave us a map of the city and they sat next to us to explain us how to get to different parts of the city. Next day they went out with us to show us around. We had a blast with them! It was a great experience! Don't miss the opportunity to host them or stay in their place, you will have a great time for sure =)
I reached out to Ludovic & Sylvie to host an exchange dinner for a group of French executives I was bringing to Montreal for business meetings. They graciously agreed to cook them dinner and host them for an evening of conversation.
The host were excellent. I felt like home. The listing was very accurate and the neighborhood was very quite. The place was very clean and organized. Ludovic and Sylvie are very nice people. I felt from the first day like I knew them for long time. Their hospitality was excellent. Their smile was brilliant. Within few days we have become friends. We discussed many things. They were very caring, They cared about my confort. They cared about the goal of my trip to Montreal and helped me achieve the goals of that trip.
Wow! Ludovic and Sylvie were great. Friendly and super helpful with showing me things to do and see in the city. They were a really flexible and laid back couple with a perfect balance of conversation and privacy. Place was as described with private entrance meaning I wasn't disruptive coming back late in the evening. Bed/couch was comfy, no problems there. Very close to shops and transport.
Ludovic and Sylvie have a beautiful house, easily reachable with the subway and located in a quite neighborhood. They are very nice and helpful; they were extremely patient with my bus delay and Ludovic came to pick me up at the subway station..they offer me a coffe and a homemade bread. The room is big and luminous, moreover the bed is really comfortable. Although it was for one night only, I had a perfect homestay! Thanks a lot :)

Driving to our home from the North, Boulevard Saint-Michel is usually the fastest. Note: It is unlawful to make a right-hand turn at a red light on the island of Montreal. Parking: There is plenty of street parking on our street (Wurtele). Watch for restricted parking directly in front of the house, which is PERMIT ONLY PARKING. Other than that small section, the entire LEFT side of the street (opposite from our house) is FREE PARKING, or on the right side, outside of the permit only section. Just be sure to read the parking signs, as is true for the entire city of Montreal! Vehicle Rental: It's a 2 minute walk to a local vehicle rental (Location Jean Légaré; 3035 Rue Hochelaga). Bixi bicycle rental is one block away (seasonal). Since the bicycle stands are moved periodically, go to Montréal's Bixi website and view the map to see bicycle stand locations and real-time bicycle availability. Don't forget your swimsuit! The backyard jacuzzi hot tub is the perfect way to relax and unwind after a long day of wandering around the city. Here are a few simple guidelines to follow if you decide to use the spa: 1. GUESTS MUST SHOWER BEFORE ENTERING THE HOT TUB. Lotions, oils, hair products and soaps quickly pollute the water. Changing the water and cleaning the filter is a costly and time consuming chore, so please don't pollute the water. We change the water regularly and check it's condition after every guest, but please let us know if you have any questions. 2. We kindly ask that no glassware or breakables be used in or around the hot tub. Plastic cups or water bottles are fine. We do not want guests to injure themselves and future guests in any way! 3. Due to the hot tub's location underneath a staircase, we unfortunately do not have a cover lift system. Therefore removal of the hot tub cover requires a specific technique: • Facing the cement wall, lift and pull the cover towards you, away from the stairs. • Flip the left side of the cover over the right side, clearing the stairs, towards the shed. • Push the cover back towards the cement wall, flush with the tub. • You can enjoy the tub half-way open for a quick and easy soak, or you can slide the cover down to rest vertically in between the shed and the hot tub. • Replacing the cover may require a 2nd person to help lift the cover up from the side closest to the cement wall. It is easiest to lift the cover up and half-way back on while you are still standing in the hot tub. If you are unable to remove or replace the cover, please let us know right away, or if our upstairs neighbour is around, he would be happy to assist you. 4. Ensure the hot tub cover is completely closed around the entire tub after you are finished.read more
Christine was super communicative, and really helpful. We didn't get to meet in person, but we had a great time there. An easy walk to a bunch of food options (both restaurants and grocery stores), and two blocks away from the subway into downtown Montreal.
Christine and Vincent were wonderful hosts. Easy to reach for any questions, and gave great recommendations. Their place was very clean and homey, and the kitchen was well stocked for the nights we weren't out exploring and wanted to cook in. The location was great, short drive to downtown or a long walk which we enjoyed. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to a friend.
Christine's place was spotless, quiet, spacious for all 4 of us that stayed there , hot tub was amazing and perfect after a cold day/evening, bathroom and kitchen were both big and super clean , would definitely recommend staying here! we will definitely stay here next time we come back to Montreal , anything we needed she answered us within a few minutes! amazing weekend for us!! thank you bailey
The listing was accurate, nice quiet and safe neighborhood, very easy to get around and parking was easy too.
Christine made me feel very welcome to stay in her apartment and was very prompt to reply to all of the messages I sent her. The apartment was neat and tidy and in a nice area, very close to the metro station, food outlets and a corner store. The hottub was a great touch to an already very comfortable and homely place to stay.
This was the first time I was using Airbnb and didn't quite know what to expect so asked a lot of questions. It finally turned out to be an excellent choice. Christine was extremely helpful and quickly responsive with tips and information about grocery shops, restaurants and so on. I'd definitely recommend staying there. Her flat was really nice and welcoming! I felt like I was at home, I liked it a lot. Thanks Christine for making my first vacation a really cool experience!
Had a great time staying at Christine's place! It was very clean and put together. The walk was an easy 5 minutes to get to the metro which can take you right into the heart of the city. The neighbors seemed friendly too. Christine was a great host! She made sure everything was accommodated for us and checked in during our trip to make sure we were enjoying our stay
We had a great time at Christines and Vincents place. The Appartement is clean and has everything you need to make yourself at home easily. The contact was very friendly and the recommendations for the local area (like Restaurants) were great.
