Wendy did a magnificent job communicating with my wife and me. She answered our questions quickly and honestly every time we asked something of her. The cabins were as described and the location was beautiful. Your outdoor deck that connected the cabins was spectacular space for outdoor time both day and night, and the dock was wonderful for sunbathing during the magnificent weather we enjoyed. It made for a super spot for jumping into the cool depths of the lake beyond! Watching and listening to the kingfishers, gray jays and warblers was incredible. The lake was wonderful for swimming, kayaking and canoeing, though you do have neighbors in the Baie Dorval who should be more polite when moving through such a bay. FIshing in a lake like Kipawa was an experience that taught me much. Drew's map was a blessing and very helpful. If only my boat motor would not have failed on me at the end of week one! We were fortunate to get to stay in such a wonderful place as your cabins, and were grateful for Wendy's responsiveness and information. Many blessings to you and your family as you enjoy this location for years to come. We will always think fondly on our time at Lac Kipawa and in the Baie Dorval!
Wendy and Drew were amazing hosts, they were extremely communicative, they kept me up to date on any problems or news that may arise up to the day that we arrived at the cottage. There was only one slight communication problem, the Ad did not state that blankets were not included but since the problem was on their end, they fixed the problem in a timely fashion. We had sheets and comforters by the following morning, since we arrived late in the day. The cottage was amazing, the gift basket was well received and we utilized everything in it, thank you emensely. Kayaking, canoeing, swiming, and hiking in and around the cottage was spectacular and we had no reason to wander too far. The board games provided also lent to a few nights of entertainment and laughter around the kitchen table, drinking and catching up. The patio fire pit was also well used, and thanks again for the bug spray we put it to good use the local bug life is quite aggressive. We had no water one night due to the pump giving out, but that just gave us the opportunity to experience a taste of real camping since we had to bathe in the lake that night, an experience we joked about incesently, along with bringing up the buckets of water from the lake for the toilet. Drew had a new pump installed the following morning, thanks for the prompt service. All in all our stay was amazing, my friends and I will have many stories, pictures, and memories that include your cottage and all were positive. Thanks for taking good care of us and responding to our concerns so promptly and efficiently. Sebastian, Greg, and Doug
We absolutely loved our stay at Wendy's cottage on Lake Kipawa. Upon arriving to the cabin, we were greeted with a gift basket of assorted treats and thoughtful souvenirs for our trip. Wendy was very responsive to all of my inquiries and provided as much information as possible so that we could get the most out of our stay - she even provided an extra kayak to accommodate all of our guests. The cabin was charming and comfortable and the surrounding area was pristine and beautiful. I would definitely recommend this listing to anyone who would like to experience a peaceful getaway in Quebec.
We had an amazing time at the cottage. We traveled from Toronto which was an easy drive with even easier directions. The cottage featured everything listed in the description and more, making for a perfect getaway from the city. We enjoyed the bikes, the kayaks, the hiking, the swimming, the dock, the deck with fire pit, the BBQ, basically everything! There was plenty of hot water which made the jacuzzi tub an awesome option on a few rainy occasions. We were very well stocked with food and beverages, which we would strongly recommend to any potential cottagers. There is very little in the way of shops in the near area. We were looking for a more secluded cottage experience and this place really delivered. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fully modernized cottage on a quiet lake with great wilderness on your doorstep.
Wendy was a great host, we didn't make it in until later at night and needed to get a hold of her, she was available as soon as we needed her. The place was very clean and cozy, it has all the basics and more, which makes you appreciate the little things even more (a hot shower after a full day of canoeing was a blessing). Very easy to find instructions and in general a pleasure, great deck with fire pit and be set up. Very comfy beds but make sure you bring your own bedding and arrange a motorized boat rental if you plan on doing a lot of fishing, it's a big lake and canoeing places just won't cut it unless you are in crazy amazing shape I guess. Can't wait to go back!
We had another wonderful stay at the cabin. It was so great last year we came back for another visit. This is a wonderful place to get away from it all, unplug from technology, read some books, and swim in a peaceful lake. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat.
We had five wonderful days at Wendy and Drew's vacation cabins. The weather was a little cloudy the first few days, but our last day was full of swimming and enjoying the water. It was a beautiful place and secluded as advertised. There were some other houses on the bay but the nights sitting by the fire were quiet and peaceful. We canoed and kayaked with the watercraft provided. The lake and cabin were a wonderful place to unplug from technology and relax. John and Mollie.
Wendy and Drew were great hosts! Super helpful and responsive leading up to our trip. The cottage itself is on a beautiful spot and packed with all the amenities one could need!

absolutely awesome. Such a great place and amazing location. Suzie was so helpful and could not have asked for a better place and host

My stay at IL Destino was perfect. Marisol met me at the door, showed me the apartment and made sure I had everything I needed. The apartment was spacious, very clean and very quiet. There are loads of local stores, restaurants and of course the wonderful Jean Talon Market. I would definitely stay there again!
Nice little place on the ground floor which makes a lot of sense while travelling with suitcases. This is my fourth flat in the same area and probably my best stay so far. Very convenient location and place with all what you need inside! Super happy to go home after a working day! I'll definitely try to book it for my next trip!
We really enjoyed our stay at Il Destino and in Montreal's Little Italy. We park the car when we get there - and either walk or take the Metro everywhere. The apartment is cozy and comfortable and feels like a home away from home to us. And Marisol and Beat are wonderful hosts!
warm welcoming words, coffee, tea, all essentials were provided on my arrival. Just a warm person was there to meet me. A place I would go back too.
Marisol was really welcoming and left me a handwritten note with the keys because I was arriving late in the evening and needed some flexibility with my check in. I met her the second day of my stay and she was lovely. The space was simple, economical, and the location was very convenient for getting to the Beaubien metro and the Jean-Talon Market.
Marisol was very responsive to all my questions from the beginning of the process. She really does cater to families. We have a 20 month old, and she procured a travel crib and bedding for us. The apartment is literally across the street from a fantastic park and wading pool that we enjoyed every day during our visit. We were pleasantly surprised to find Montreal has so many nice playgrounds, pools, and splash pad, but to have one right across the street was special. The location near the subway and Jean-Talon Market is exceptional. We walked there in the mornings to get breakfast and groceries. The apartment is clean and modern and has everything you need without having to deal with a lot of personal items. We'd love to come back for another visit next summer!
Great location to stay in Montreal! A visited a friend's wedding and stayed for a week in Il Destino. It served really well. First of all, to be on the ground floor with the little harden in the back is a real plus. Upon arrival everything was tidy, clean and spotless. The bed slept great as well. There were plenty of towels to use and also some toiletry (like shower gel etc.) is provided. The hosts are very communicative and flexible, check-in and -out went very smooth. Definitely recommended!

Really nice basement flat in a great area, close to lots of cafes and restaurants. Lots of space and very modern.
My husband and I stayed here for four nights and we absolutely loved it. It was like a cool cave that we felt so comfortable in. We walked so much because everything is so close. The restaurants around here are great and Mt Royal is also within walking distance. Esther was so nice. All we wanted was time to enjoy together and that's what we got. We hope to come back one day. Aloha!
Listing was exactly as described in the perfect location. The house had everything we needed and was open, clean, and well lit. Great selection of books and games too. Check in and out couldn't have been easier and the place was well worth the cost. We would definitely stay again.
Four of us had a great weekend in Montreal. Just three nights for four close friends to stay in this apartment is ideal. Any longer could be pushing it as sleeping quarters are effectively shared. The home is smart, well equipped and in a great location close to the metro and within 5min walk of plenty of restaurants and shops. The neighbourhood is safe and welcoming. Parking was easy on the days we visited. Thank you Esther for the helpful tips before we arrived.
Esther's apartment was ideal. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and well situated, we had a nice stay. While it is a basement apartment, it was well heated.
Beautiful cozy sanctuary in one of the best area to be staying in Montreal. Highly suggested.
The place was gorgeous and very comfortable. We would totally stay here again!
My partner and I really enjoyed staying here. Great decor, spacious apartment. It's located in the Plateau, our favorite neighborhood of Montreal, and has great access to all the Plateau has to offer -- for instance, the famous Au Pied De Cochon is literally around the corner. Esther as a host was very communicative and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Rod was an excellent host. When we got to the place it was exactly like the photos and very clean. It is in one of the best neighbourhoods in Montreal - great restaurants, bars and shops. I will for sure be renting this place during my next trip to Montreal.
Rod was very easy going and pleasant to deal with. The rental was very well equipped and we had an awesome time. I travel to Montreal several times a year, and I will definitely be back whenever I have a large group.
First and formost - rod was excellent. He met us the first day we arrived to give us some basic information about the area. And he was available all weekend if we needed anything (I.e. He even helped us search for free parking around the area). He provided a manual with information about the area, and simple instructions about the apartment itself. The place was great. Perfect for a large bachelor party group. Spacious, fun, and fairly close to many things. The TV, pool table, and ping pong table were great. The patio and grill were great. Only improvement I would make up there is that there was no lighting for after dark up there. Overall everyone loved the place. And we were extremely happy. Thanks for everything rod.
Rod and Justin were great. They were very easy to work with and frequently checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.
Rod was a pleasure to deal with from the first inquiry about booking through the end of our stay. We booked the house for my friend's bachelor party, 10 guys in total. Everyone had a bed to sleep in with plenty of room to hang out. The pool table, ping pong table and projector were a huge hit. We even had a huge bbq one day on the roof deck. The house is great, but the location is even better. We were able to walk to Old Montreal to cool bars and restaurants and take a cab out to the clubs at night. Rod was super accommodating and very responsive, he got us an awesome deal at a club on Saturday night. Definitely a great choice for larger groups!
Rod was very quick to answer all my inquires prior to arrival. He was also very welcoming and available to any questions or request during our stay. Rod made sure the place was cleaned and ready for our groups use before we showed up.
Rod was an excellent host! He was communicative, responsive, and very helpful. The home was very clean and spacious and our group of 12 felt very comfortable. I highly recommend this property!
Great location! Awesome host! Could not recommend this place more for a bachelor party

Will was the perfect host! He was very kind and offered great advice on what to see and do in Montreal. The place is decorated beautifully and it is very clean. Will and his friends were very kind and respectful!! The place is at a great location, within walking distance of old Montreal. I highly recommend Will and his wonderful home.
Will is an incredibly hospitable host. He is quick to respond and very forthcoming with fabulous restaurant, sight and nightlife recommendations, while maintaining a very clean and modern flat. It made our visit to Montreal all the more perfect, and we'd book his space in a heartbeat the next time our travel plans call for a visit to this belle ville / beautiful city.
"Great" doesn't even describe how lovely, how elegant, and well done this whole experience was. Will's apartment really is a gem, and he's a great host. Plus, he's so kind and very helpful, always trying to make sure we knew where we were going and offering suggestions (because we didn't come with a whole plan). His suggestions were on point and we have to say he made our visit to Montreal (which we loved) complete. Plus, the location of the apt is perfect, we walked to everything from there.
Loved staying with Will. The place was extremely clean and he left little toiletries out in case we needed them. It was very easy to arrive and find the keys. The unit is very close to a major metro transfer station making getting around the city easy.
Will was a great host. He was very accommodating and respectful of our privacy. His apartment was as pictured and very clean. I would highly recommend.
My stay at Will's place was great. There was a metro stop, grocery store and pharmacy within walking distance. He provided tons of maps and resources. The room was very comfortable. Will was very hospitable and made me feel comfortable in his space. I would highly recommend staying at Will's place in Montreal.
Will is a very friendly host. The apt is very clean and beautifully decorated. The location is centrally located and close to all the bars/restaurants on St Denis. We'd certainly stay there again when visit Montreal again.
Will is definitely a super host with a great apartment. Clean, modern and very well located, it's one of the best options in Montreal, for sure! :)

Evgeny was nothing short of a great host. Was in contact before with Evgeny before during and after my trip and he made sure everything was to our liking and worked around our travel times. The house is exactly like the pictures and we had a great time. If you travel to Montreal with a group....this is the spot to be
Big beautiful place, great host. Just as described
Place was amazing, host was amazing!
We stayed here with a large group of 11 guys and we all had more than enough space. The house is really clean and well maintained and has everything you would need to keep busy (pool table, foosball, Xbox, TV, chess, and poker set). The house also has a great back covered deck which was great for hanging out outside or playing poker with the whole group. Like others have said there is a highway in the back and the neighborhood is far from the city (20 min Uber ride) but the ride isn't bad and you can't hear the highway at all as it is elevated (and we spent a lot of time outside on the back deck). I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking to visit the beautiful city of Montreal. This was my first time using AirBnB and could not have asked for a nicer and better host than Evgeny. He was quick to answer all questions (and I had a lot). Thank you again for a great stay Evgeny!
Evgeny made us feel very welcome. The place was very spacious and easy to find. We had and excellent stay.
What a beautiful experience, I've never had such a fantastic Airbnb host and the house is beautiful. I will definitely be booking here again. All around perfect experience
Everything was a great, very clean and well organized place with plenty of room. Check-in was quick and parking was easy.
We stayed here with a group of 8 friends. Even for a group of this size, the house was really spacious, cozy and comfortable. Only downside might be that it is located a fair distance away from the centre or the nearest subway station (20 minute walk). Even taking that into account we would really recommend this place.

Kelly was waiting for us when we arrived late at 8pm. Showed us all the details needed. Had numerous points of information (taxi, eateries, etc) well organized. Apartment was pleasant, well equipped with dishes, etc and very clean.
Beautiful place and great hosts - would definitely stay here again. Neighbourhood was very accessible and had a bunch of cool restaurants and pubs nearby. Checkin, communication, and checkout were all easy. Excellent value as well! Thanks Ratha and Kelly!
Hosts were great, neighborhood was awesome and the place was nice and clean. Would recommend to anyone.
Amazingly beautiful place, more luxurious than a hotel! Came with cute shampoo, conditioner and soap packs and white towels. The top-of-the-line washer and dryer were convenient as we went to the spa and indoor surf. Nice wine glasses, memory foam mattress and pillows, Netflix... The parking situation was a little annoying on Friday night but otherwise it was okay. Highly recommended.
Ratha and Kelly were amazing! They were very welcoming and flexible with checking in. Their duplex apartment was absolutely beautiful and huge! I would recommend their place for anyone looking to stay in the center of Old Montreal. Thanks!
Ratha was a wonderful host and the place was exactly as seen in photos. SUPER clean, comfortable hotel style beds, lots of little extras, towels, coffee, and maps with information about the city from taxi rates to supermarket advertisements. The listing said the apartment includes air conditioning, but it's only on the second floor. It was quite warm on the first floor during the beginning of our stay with warmer weather. Fans are provided and they did help, but we intentionally spent more time upstairs because of this. I would stay here again anyway - just wanted to tell other travelers because I did not see that in the listing. The location is FANTASTIC. Right in the middle of Old Montreal and I mean in the actual middle of where you want to be if staying in Old Montreal. With that, comes a little extra noise from all of the outside activity of people, cars, trucks, temporary construction, etc. The mornings start early, and the evenings are late. It's noticeable but not bothersome - it's to be expected when you are staying in the heart of Old town. I would absolutely recommend this place (and hosts) to anyone and would totally book again if available!
GREAT experience! Ratha met us at the front door, showed us around, and was just a text away our whole trip when we had questions about Montreal. The apartment has everything you need, and has a old-meets-new feng shui going on with incredible attention to detail: brick walls, tall ceilings, modern appliances, tall windows... here are a few notes: - full bath is upstairs, half-bath with full laundry downstairs. - washer/dryer are brand new and work great. Makes packing easier! - Has all appliances (stove / fridge / toaster / microwave / coffee maker / electric kettle.) Stove/oven is electric. - Ratha has a map to the IGA (full grocery) on the fridge -- VERY handy to stock up when you first get there. Can easily/comfortably prepare meals here when you want to stay in. We did breakfast in most days before we set out, though you can get breakfast right around the corner if you want. - Though the windows are to a side street, the light coming through is magical and you will hear the street violin players during the day/evening through them. - Beds are comfy w/ plenty of linens/pillows. We slept upstairs: a couple in the curtained-off master and a teen in each of the other two beds (A/C keeps it nice and cold up there - downstairs may be warm still in summer) and then we could bang around in the kitchen in the AM if not all were up yet. - Restaurants are numerous just outside the door. Walk 100 yards to Bixi bikes. Walk 150 yards to the waterfont. Easy bike to Atwater market. 200 yards to ferry dock (less than 5$ to cross the water). - Places we walked: Mont Royal, St Joseph's (was 11 mi round-trip walk), "The Boulevard", IGA (about a mile), Parc Jean Drapuea (after ferry over), and every lunch/dinner. (*if you do a 5-star french dinner, set aside 3+ hours for the chef's tasting menu at Bonaparte, a steal at ~80/per). - Places we biked: Olympic Park, Botanical Gardens, Biosphere - You can easily stay busy for a solid week or more here, especially if you like to walk/bike. - Running path along the waterfront is convenient. Absolutely recommend the area and Ratha's apartment if you can get it!
Great loft! Great location! Within walking distance to almost anything you need, right in Old Port Montreal. The loft was exactly as pictured, very clean, comfortable beds and definitely enough space for 6 of us! There was even 6 little amenity bags for each of us which was a very nice touch! Would stay here again for sure!

The apartment it's very nice, beautiful and very quiet if you are looking for peace nights. Very well located as well. We didn't meet Roger but he left the instructions and was easy to access the apartment.
The apartment was great, big and beautiful. Big kitchen, private parking was helpful. Roger is great, helped us with everything and communicate well about all our needs.
Great place! Right next to Montreal's largest and most beautiful park! Definitely worth booking, especially for the price.
We really enjoyed our stay! Great location, everything we wanted to see and do was within a 10 minute drive or less. The condo was very clean and spacious and is exactly as depicted. The condo is also very well equipped with everything you would need. We look forward to staying at Roger's place again!
Roger was quick to respond, his location ideal, the apartment immaculate, and forwarded access details that were accurate and easy to follow. We visit Montreal at least 3 or 4 times a year, for the past 7 years, this was our best stay ever!
Great host. Roger messaged me to let me know the room was ready for check in hours before the set check in time. The place was very clean and very nice. Also very convenient having our own parking spot in the garage as well.
We really enjoyed our stay at the condo -- it was clean and cozy, with plenty of space for 4 people and a garage parking spot. It's a convenient place for exploring Montreal, whether walking or driving, and a great value.
Really great stay! Roger was helpful and the apartment was perfect! A+ would definitely recommend!

I have lived in Old Montreal for 30 years and am probably it s oldest resident in terms of years. I know the area like no one else. I am very happy to share my love for one of the oldest neighbourhoods in North America. I do travel often but am always available to direct you to interesting options to help you enjoy your vacation. One of the Oldest neighbourhoods in North America. Where Canadian Banking, Trading, Printing, Transportation, and Nation were conceived. Montreal was an American city for 7 months from November 1775 to May 1776 (the yankee occupation) when Benjamin Franklin concluded it would be easier to buy the province of Lower Canada than to conquer it. The Chateau Ramsey (1705) (around the corner and left on Notre Dame street) was home to the American parliament during the war for independence and briefly of American Generals Richard Montgomery and Benedict Arnold and American diplomat Benjamin Franklin, sent to convince the French Canadians to join the rebellion against England, during the brief Yankee occupation of Montreal during the American Revolution. Benjamin Franklin set up the first printing press in Canada when he was here. Fleury Mesplet was sent here by Franklin to print pro revolutionary propaganda meant to convince francophones to join the cause of the United Colonies. He found lodging in a tavern and set up his printing press in a building on rue Capitale (a lane running from St-Sulpice to St-François-Xavier, South of St. Paul street, north of de la Commune street). There used to be a plaque in the lane that for some reason is no longer there! Fleury did not leave with the revolutionaries and ended up founding the Montreal Gazette, it is still printed today, pick one up. The old Montreal GAZETTE building on St Jaques street now a hotel. LaPresse still have their offices on the corner of St. Laurent and St Jacques street. Le Devoir started on St. Vincent street as did the first publishing houses in Canada. Old Montreal started as a religious mission and later a fur trading post. It was founded by the Sulpician order from France. They built a copy of Notre Dame Church in Paris on Notre Dame street. I have been to both and can tell you that our interior is much more impressive. Montreal was home to many Blacksmiths in the early days as to produce metal instruments to trade with the natives for fur. The furs were traded around present day Place Royale and the lanes to the east and west of the square. Samuel de Champlain founded Ville Marie in 1642 at Pointe De Caliere where a small stream met the river, today where Pointe a Callier museum sits. A statue to him sits in front of Notre Dame church on Place D Armes in the middle of a modern version of Place D Armes which used to be a Victorian Park. In front of Chateau Ramsey sits Montreal City hall (1872) a smaller version of Paris City hall and the first in Canada to be built solely for Municipal governance. In front of City Hall stands (Horatio) Nelson s Column(1809) on Place Jacques Cartier predates Nelson s column in trafalgar square In London England (1843). Across the street you will see bonsecours Market which was the parliament of Canada for a brief time. Also Notre Dame de Bonsecours Church founded by Marguerite Bourgeous. Walk out the door ,turn left and down the street from the apartment sits one of the founding fathers of Canada s residence. Sir George Etienne Cartier's residence in Montreal, at 458 Notre-Dame Street East, which is now the Sir George-Étienne Cartier National Historic Site dedicated to his life and achievements. It also serves to recall the architectural heritage and lifestyles of the upper middle class of 19th century Montreal. He helped found Canada along with Sir John A. Mcdonald, The CP railroad, The civil code (still used today), Grand Trunk Railroad (Old Head Office on Mcgill street), and have British Columbia join confederation, Creating the Province of Manitoba, Negotiating the purchase of Rupert s land and The Northwest Territories. You are in his neighbourhood, along with Jacques Viger, Joseph Papineau, Renee Levesque, Pauline Marois, to name a few. Canada s wall street (St Jacques street formerly St James street) where all the first head offices of Canadian banks were opened. the first on Place D Armes the Bank of Montreal (1847) Pantheon like building. Open a bank account at this branch, the transit number is 0001 as it was the first bank in Canada! The birthplace of Canadian banking on 113 St. Paul street east, where you will find a plaque commemorating the site of the first Bank of Montreal and the birthplace of Canadian banking. Still with me? This is only minutes from the apartment...get the picture? Well Old Montreal today is a lot like Old Montreal of yesterday. Politics, cafes, culture, Social events and life. The Old Port hosts the Igloofest in February which is a four weekend Techno party outside in the winter weather with ten thousand Vintage ski suit clad partiers dancing to the finest techno on the planet. I know un imaginable you should see the look of disbelief on the artists faces when they see the scene before them. Montreal's Cirque du Soleil World Premieres all it s new shows in May every year here in the Old Port. We are home to the best nightclubs in the city along with lively bars and Parisian style outdoor cafe s and yes some tourist traps that are not so bad. We are home to some of the best chef s in the country concocting their wizardry in the most antique and unique of settings. There is an impressive list of Art galleries starting around the corner on Bonsecours street and rounding onto Rue St. Paul all the way to Mcgill street an impressive display of Art in the windows of these galleries as we walk along this Art gallery route. Old Montreal In very recent years it has been developed in some cases the right way in other cases for pure greed. It started to be torn down until Mayor Jean Drapeau ( there is a statue of him in a park in front of city hall) protected it. A fight that carries on today! Unfortunately over the years dull minded individuals have not respected it when trying to make a profit. Luckily much of it is intact and a well kept secret I would like to share with you. Stay away from the overpriced hotels here as their greed is destroying the first Cold Storage facility and super market in Montreal the Gunn Langlois dry goods and cold storage market between St. Vincent street and Place Jacques Cartier. Don t encourage them please, they are destroying my neighbourhood. A nine story blemish in our old neighborhood completely against the zoning laws, and our protected heritage. Other s like the Gault Hotel on ste Helene street which is housed in North America s first YMCA, did a commendable job of restoring a heritage building. Ste Helene street is the only street in Montreal to have gas lanterns of yesteryear a little known fact. I invite you to visit, daydream, fantasize about the past, live for the present in my neighbourhood which I dearly cherish. Stay in the shadow of the Angels guarding our port atop the Notre Dame de Bonsecours church sandwiched between art Galleries, Celebrity chef s, founders of nations, Parliaments of nations, on the step to the gateway to the New World! There is a bixi stand right near the flat where you can rent bicycles by the hour and drop them off in other parts of the city. We are right next to the bike path that connects the city and continues along the Old Port and Lachine Canal. There are a metro and bus stops close by. St. Paul street pedestrian walkway is 1 block from the apartment. Take a water taxi across the street in the Old Port to St Helen s Island. Great outdoor patio very rare in Old Montreal!read more
Nelson was very nice and accommodating. He made our stay special by providing little extras like drinks, snacks and useful information. The location was excellent, right in the heart of "Old Montreal". I would highly recommend Nelson's apartment.
Nelson our host made us feel very welcome. He was helpful in informing us of all the local spots that we would be interested in seeing . This unit I would recommend to anyone who will staying in Old Montreal. The Apartment was spacious the comfortable and exceeded all our expectations
The space was perfectly located and exactly as described. There were three of us staying in the apartment and it was a wonderful layout with two separate bedrooms and a nice big common area. We loved it and would highly recommend!
Great place! Perfect location! The place was clean, spacious and exactly (if not nicer) in person. It was so warm and welcoming, I will definitely return!
Nelson's apartment was amazing! You cannot beat the location - right in the middle of Old Town Montreal and within walking distance of all the sights and great restaurants/bars. It was also just a couple blocks from the metro so it was easy to get around to other parts of the city as well. The actual apartment was beautiful and clean - just as it's shown in the pictures. Wish it had been warmer so that we could have enjoyed the back deck! Nelson was very communicative and accommodating. We could not have asked for a better host. His friend Steven let us in to the apartment when we arrived and he was also very nice and helpful. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend staying at Nelson's. We hope to be able to come back soon!
The apartment was very charming with the the old stone walls and tall windows as pictured. The bedrooms were big and beds very comfortable. Nelson was very accommodating and thankfully was there cleaning when we arrived so that he could carry our luggage up the 25 steps to the 2nd floor. The neighborhood was fantastic as we were right in the middle of Old Montreal with dozens of shops and restaurants within just 2 or 3 blocks. Many museums and landmarks are within easy walking distance. When we arrived, Nelson provided maps and restaurant recommendations to help us out. We never saw him after that as we went out all day, though he said he stopped by. I highly recommend this place and would stay there again in a heartbeat if I were to return to Montreal.
Nelson was a gracious host. Our stay was lovely, the apartment is great in an amazing location.
Nelson was an awesome host. He took time to walk through places to visit and where we were how to best get around. He went over and beyond by leaving snacks and some beverages in the fridge as well as coffee and 1/2 and 1/2. My mother and I were very impressed and much appreciated that. The apartment was exactly as pictured and was very comfortable. Again, we had towels left for us as well as other necessities. The place was very clean as well! I would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone traveling to Old Montreal. Everything was right outside your door. Just one thing to keep in mind, parking is tough and there are quite a few stairs up to the apartment. Just something to keep in mind.

Very nice place to visit Montréal. The apartment is well located (near Ste-Catherine street). Communication with Jing was easy and she was always available by text message
We found Jing's home to be comfortable and welcoming - everything we could need for our 4 day stay in Montreal (including the softest, fluffiest towels we have ever seen!) The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. It was conveniently located near downtown, with easy access to shops, restaurants and Mont Royal - a great base to explore this wonderful city! Jing was helpful and friendly and responded quickly to messages. Thank you again for the hospitality! We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to friends.
The space is awesome. Clean, look excatly like what the photo shows. Jing is a great host that will try to commadate your requests as much as possible. My sugestion is you need to stay here more than two days to fully enjoy the space. Highly recommanded.
Loved this cozy little apartment. Furnishings were awesome, so close to everything downtown. Jing was only a message away with super quick response. The AC wasn't super cooling but there was a fan that gave that little extra needed, so we were comfortable. Huuuuuuge TV. Would stay here again! You won't be sorry.
Such a beautiful and clean place with a view of the city. Highly recommended!!!
Jing is so easy to contact and always available if you need anything. The apartment is beautiful, modern, clean with great views over Montreal and in a fantastic location. You are within walking distance of so much and also only about a 5 min walk from the metro. Jing sends you great information before you arrive to help locate the building & enter. Our stay was fantastic and if we ever visit Montreal again we will definitely stay here! Thank you so much Jing!
Had a great time at Jing's place which was modern, clean and centrally located. Jing was very prompt in communicating and that made things simple. We will stay here again whenever in Montreal.
Jing's place is absolutely gorgeous! It looks exactly like it does in the pictures. Located just steps from Rue St. Catherines, it's incredibly walkable and central. My husband and I loved our stay and would absolutely stay here again in the future.

The apartment was exactly as advertised; very convenient location, clean, nice space with a great view! Svetlana and her husband Karim we're very helpful and got back to us right away whenever we had an inquiry. A great place to stay in Montreal for sure!
The apartment is in a perfect downtown location right by the bars and clubs. The place was perfect size for my group of 5 friends. Svetlana's husband was very helpful to us and made sure everything was provide to us. He made sure we felt comfortable at their place. Plus, the pool is awesome with a great view.
We had an awesome time staying at Svetlana's apartment. The beds were all set up and made for us. Everything was extremely clean, just like the photos. They were very responsive when trying to get in touch about check-in. They called to see how our trip was going and were extremely helpful. They event had bagels and orange juice for us in the fridge. The location could not have been more perfect, right by the metro and lots of restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend staying here!
Svetlana was easy to communicate with, the location is great. Parking was a little tight, but definitely manageable. If I come back to Montreal, I would definitely return to her apartment.
Our stay in Montreal at Svetlana's property was awesome! The apartment was very clean, spacious and exactly as described. All the necessities were provided, including coffee and milk, bagels, butter and jam. It was a huge relief on our first morning to have those staples available while we planned out our day to come. Svetlana and her husband were both extremely helpful, and though we didn't get to meet them, our stay was not diminished by this. They both gave concise and clear instructions for everything we asked. We loved the central location of the apartment and the indoor parking on site. We came and went multiple times throughout the day with no issues. Our only problem was that the elevator in the building was so slow and only held about 4 people at a time. Of course, this is no fault of Svetlana's whatsoever, and just forced us to not be as lazy and to take the stairs more often than not! We had a great time and would stay here again next time we're in Montreal. Thanks Svetlana!!
This was a great spot to spend a couple of days in Montreal. The building is a little older, but the apartment was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed using the pool and we had an awesome meal at Ganadara (just one block away).
The apartment is located in downtown Montreal, near shopping, restaurants, and cinemas. Everything is within walking distance. The apartment was clean and the hosts were kind enough to provide some breakfast foods. All in all this was a great stay and a great find.
We had a wonderful stay at Svetlana's place! The location and the apartment was very accurate with the descriptions. The place was clean when we arrived and we really had no issues with this place at all. The location is really perfect since it's near all subway stations, supermarkets and awesome restaurants. Was a great first-time AirBnb experience in general!

The apartment looked just like it did in the pictures. It was immaculate! We had everything we needed for the week. Also, someone was there to drop off the keys right after I texted Jing, which was fantastic.

Everything was just as described! Very clean and chic place. Jing's step-by-step instructions were very helpful for getting into the apartment and finding parking during my one night stay. I definitely recommend staying with Jing if you ever find yourself in Montreal :) !
We loved the condo. Very comfortable beds. Clean. And a great location. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Great house. Great host. Plenty of space and very clean. We walked to most destination or quickly caught a cab on St. Laurent a few blocks away.
Diane was a very warm and welcoming host, and we absolutely loved staying in her beautiful home. There ended up being just 6 of us, even though we had rented the place for 8, so there was more than enough room for all to stay comfortably. The apartment is very close to many of the city's interesting streets and sights - Rue St. Denis, St. Catherine, St. Laurent, Parc Mont Royal, and about a 20 minute walk to Old Montreal and the Port. We thoroughly enjoyed the roof deck, as well as the smaller porch in the front which is nice for two or three people to sip a beverage and gaze at the street below. We also made use of the kitchen, which was well stocked with all appliances and utensils that we needed. I wish we had used the grill! But, there wasn't much time as we were only staying for three nights. The house was very clean and well kept, and there were multiple keys so everyone had their own set. I would definitely recommend staying here, and the next time we're in Montreal this will be my first choice for accommodations. Merci, Diane!
Myself and 5 of my good buddies travel to Montreal every year to watch Formula 1. We have stayed in everything from hotels to apartments. Diane's place was just perfect for our group. AWESOME location. Plenty of beds for everybody, kitchen with everything you need, and a beautiful rooftop patio. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would rent it again in a heartbeat. Thank you Diane for everything!
Diane and her place were absolutely perfect. I traveled up to Montreal with a group of 8 guys for a bachelor party and it was great having a house that we could hang out in. We each had our own beds & each bedroom even had its own set of keys which was a great feature. The common areas were also great, including a large round table in the living room we could hang out around. Everything was clean and nicely updated. The front & back balconies also got a lot of use as the weather was great. The area around Diane's place could not have been better either. There is an awesome coffee shop directly across the street that we visited a few times each day. Also, the place is only blocks from Boulevard Saint-Laurent where there are lots of fun restaurants, bars & clubs. Once we arrived at her place Thursday, we never had to drive again until we left on Sunday. I could not recommend Diane & her place more!
Our host, Diane was meet us at the front door with open arms, even though we were a couple hours early. She welcomed us in and gave us a tour of her home, that soon would be ours over the next few days. From her attitude to the Wi-Fi, we couldn't have been more pleased.
This was our second time staying in Diane's beautiful home. There were updates to the house even from last year, so the house felt clean and modern, but with a lot of beautiful architectural touches. The location is excellent and the house is lovely. Diane is very easy to reach and made us feel very welcome, just like last year!
Great experience! The house was nice, full of amenities and the host was readily available if any issue had occurred.
Diane was fantastic. She was really easy to communicate with and she was readily available. The house is big, clean, and in an excellent area of town. It met all our needs and we have no problems at all. Highly recommend this place.

Kim and Will were wonderful, welcoming hosts! Their house is beautiful and we would not hesitate to return next time we visit Montreal :)
Great place! They are really nice, have super cute dogs, answered all of our questions and even have their own little map of the neighbourhood. The appartment is also in a good location: very accessible by metro.
Kim and Will are the best. Though they were out of town for part of my stay, Kim's mom was welcoming and so nice to me. It absolutely felt like home. The house is very comfortable and clean and you can perceive Kim and Will's love for their place all over it. Moreover Kim and Will provided me with some suggestions about Montreal and their neighbourhood, like where to eat or what to see. I must say that I couldn't ask for more and I would highly recommend this place both for a long and a short stay in Montreal. Ps: the puppies are so adorable!
Kim and Will are awesome hosts! They made me and my girlfriend feel super at home, and made it feel like we were just staying in a friends guest room! Their dogs are super cute and cuddly and love to play with you too. The couple is very friendly and will suggest to you awesome places to go in Montreal They were super welcoming the second we met them. There was never an awkward silence while they were in the apartment with us. We immediately connected and we felt as if we had known them for years. We would gladly come back in the future, and we plan to this summer. We've never been to such a comforting Airbnb before. We made great memories not only outside in the city, but inside with this amazing family as well. 1000x recommend Kim and Will! Look no further for a stay in Montreal! You seriously wont regret staying here. There are no other places like it in Montreal.
Kim and Will were more than accommodating from the get-go. They were easy to reach and extremely helpful. Kim even helped me get set up with makeup and hair appointments for the wedding I was attending. The loft is beautiful with lots of space and light and looks just like it does in the pictures. I felt instantly comfortable here, had lots of privacy but also felt welcome to hang out in the living area too. I would definitely recommend staying here as St Henri is also such an interesting and vibrant neighborhood. A little map of the area and some great recommendations is ready for you in the room if you're not familiar with the area. If you're lucky enough and this place is available, book it!!! Thanks so much guys for a great stay, all the help with the appointments and suggestions. The Tequila bar is excellent! Cheers!!! I will definitely try and stay here again when I'm back in town.
Kim & Will were great hosts. They provided a clean, warm room in their spacious and well designed apartment. They gave us plenty of information and suggestions that allowed us to find several excellent activities and restaurants we never would have known about otherwise. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends.
Very accommodating and welcoming hosts. Enjoyed the 2 dogs as well
Although we weren't around much, Kim & Will were great and everything went smoothly. Their apartment is as clean and stylish as described and the neighbourhood is very cool. I would definitely love to stay there again!

I booked this apartment two days before my arrival into Montreal and was very lucky to find this gem. Andrei was such a wonderful host and knows his city well. He replies to every message in a timely manner with thorough instructions and offers very helpful suggestions with transportation from the airport. The apartment was very easy to locate and is exactly was described in the pictures and was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the same to anyone who is visiting the city.
Andrei's flat is, just as described and photographed, an attractive, efficient, clean, comfortable, and conveniently situated base in the heart of the city. It's thoughtfully equipped with everything one or two guests might need. Andrei's a great guy whose good advice gave us a quick, easy orientation to Montreal. We found all his suggestions and recommendations good ones. The 11th-floor flat with a view was a quiet, hospitable refuge after busy days in the city. We'd be delighted to return sometime.
Very clean, cozy and full of homey details, Andrei's place is indeed located in a perfect location in downtown Montreal: close to two metro stations (orange line and green line), a 747 bus stop (the one that goes to the airport and the central bus station), many museums, and a vast array of dining and shopping options. Andrei was always thoughtful and welcoming in our correspondence and on the phone, and gave me detailed and useful instructions on how to get around. Just one thing, though - the place wasn't exactly as described: it was BETTER than the description. That's a big plus, because we don't get such pleasant surprises everyday. Thanks again!
We had a great time in Montreal! Andrei was very communicative, especially when there was an issue with entering the apartment. The apartment is exactly like what you see the the photos. It is conveniently located between the orange and green metro lines which made getting around to other parts of the city easy. There were several great restaurants within walking distance, and the easy parking was such a plus. Thanks, Andrei!
Highly recommended. Very cute apartment in a great location. Lots of good restaurants nearby, and convenient to get anywhere by foot or the Metro. Andrei was very helpful, and had a guestbook with lots of good information. We would definitely stay again on our next trip.
Andrei was a great host! Accomodating and asy to get ahold of. His place is fantastic - so clean and a great location!!
Andrei's place was clean, chic and comfortable and the location was perfect for my visit to Montreal.
Andrei was an excellent host who welcomed us to montreal, and took the time to orient us to the city upon our arrival. His apartment is in an ideal location, close to the metro and in walking distance of restaurants and shops. His apartment is well-kept and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable weekend away. We definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Montreal.

The apartment was really special. The layout of the loft was exactly as presented. Everything was clean, organized and welcoming. It was very relaxing to come home to after touring the city, and we would definitely return! (The place gets very bright in the morning, even with the curtains closed. But that's part of why we liked the place. It was very cozy.)
This is where you would want to stay in old Montreal. The loft is spectacular! Minutes walking distance from Notre Dame, galleries, restaurants and shops! Definition worth the money! Francois was an awesome host
The loft is in a perfect location - close to a variety of restaurants and only a block from Notre Dame Bascillica. We walked everywhere. The loft is just as pictured and very comfortable. We loved it and Montreal.
Francois has a stunning loft which was even better than the photos. The style, furnishings, openness, and space are beautifully designed. The high ceilings and 15 foot arched windows made this place airy, light, and kind of majestic. The location could not have been better as it is right at Old Montreal with all of its cafes, restaurants, plazas, people, and the Notre Dame Basicila, We wanted to live here! All of Francois's information was clear, detailed, and accurate. The loft has a complete and open kitchen and dining space. We did not want to leave and hope to return. Thanks, Francois.
Francois loft is as described, it looked great in pictures and is even more beautiful in person. Great location in old port, across Notre Dame, close to restaurants and everything. Great communication, easy check in, and check out. I will definitely be back soon . Thanks again !
Excellent location in Old Town, beautiful apartment with everything you need, and communication was prompt. Thank you.
Great location! Walking distance to everything. There was a lot of constructions in the surroundings, but Francois' loft was comfortable, soundproof, and very quiet. I would go back anytime!
Beautiful loft in the perfect area to see Montreal. Tons of restaurants nearby and right down the street from the Notre Dame basilica. The loft is even better than the pictures. Francois was great to work with and the check in and out process was easy. The only downside was the fireplace wasn't working and there was an extra cleaning fee for a less than 3 night stay. Would still highly recommend!

During the day, after waking up and walking to get some crave-worthy espresso from the surrounding cafés, you can walk through Chinatown to the Old Port (a.k.a. The loft itself was huge and beautiful! It was perfect for the six of us. The location of the building was incredibly convenient to everything downtown and on an active/edgy/artsy neighborhood. On the weekend nights, the street really came alive! We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
Lauren made us feel very welcome and was helpful with suggestions about the area. It was great having a 24 hour gas station across the street too for extra snacks and drink mixers. The view from the terrace was great, and the location in general was near every single thing we wanted to do during our stay. The loft was clean, had everything we needed for cooking in the kitchen, both bedrooms were extremely comfy, and I have absolutely no complaints :D
We had an absolutely wonderful experience in Montreal and much of that was due to the apartment! The location is perfect for walking to lots of restaurants, bars and museums and we felt completely safe while we were there. The apartment had everything we needed and we would definitely recommend to others!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your Airbnb in Montreal. The location, cleanliness, space was great. Plenty of beds and space to hang out. Wifi was great and large kitchen space as well. We will definitely book with you guys again for another trip. Merci!
Lauren's place is HUGE, very clean, well lit with many open to sky patches in the roof bathing the entire place in warm, natural sun light (the best is in the master bathroom). The loft is complete with all amenities can easily sleeps a large group of up to 10 people. Lauren is very prompt and courteous in her response to everything and makes sure the guests have a splendid time. The loft is located in the core downtown area with everything in walkable distance. Highly recommended.
Lauren was very accommodating when it came to my party's late arrival time to Montreal. Her place was beautiful and spacious and she left many helpful signs around the place along with a list of recommended spots. The neighborhood was in the perfect location and within walking distance of many restaurants, cafes, and bars, as well as public transportation systems. This place helped make our stay in Montreal absolutely fantastic.
Great place. Great hosts. Lauren and her boyfriend were very easy to communicate with, and very accommodating. Perfect place for a larger group, and in a very good location. Thanks again Lauren. Jason
Lauren and Antonie made us feel quite welcomed. They were readily available if something came up. We enjoyed the neighborhood and the loft was quite comfortable and spacious to be in. We really enjoyed our stay, and would happily return. Other guests should go to Antonie's restaurant, Pamika, which was also great.

On a secluded alley like street, only meters from iconic Park Lafontaine in the Heart of trendy Plateau Mont-Royal (Parking included). This is it ! In the heart of the Plateau on a quiet alley like street, only meters from Park Lafontaine, Montreal’s Central Park – ok, it’s not as big, but we’re a smaller city. Although you don’t have a view of the Park, the advantage is that you are on a quiet street; technically it’s a street but functions more like an alley. (The Streetview version is inserted by Airbnb and not the host - the shot you see is actually nearby and not a view from the apt.) The apartment is a first floor 500 square foot loft style open space apartment, ideal for two. It was completely renovated in 2007 and upgraded in nov 2013. I have lived in the neighbourhood for over 25 years and have seen its evolution over the years, I actually live next door. The floors are hardwood and marble – new furnishings and fully stocked kitchen. (New added feature: expresso/cappuccino machine, and I don't mean the capsule type). You are 4 minutes away from the trendy restaurants and boutiques on Mount-Royal Avenue and a 18 minute walk to iconic St Denis Street – outdoor cafés and boutiques. There is a Bixi communal bike service (april - nov) 2 minute walk –the bike lane is on Rachel, the neighbouring Street. Velo Québec is 2 blocks away – for bike enthusiasts. The Metro (subway) is short distance (15 min) on Mount-Royal or if you prefer a longer route, you can walk through the park and catch the Sherbrooke St Station (18 min). Although Montreal hosts a series of outdoor festivals in the summer, Jazz, Just for Laughs, Francopholies in the downtown area ( 50 minute walk) - all the amenities you need are available on Mount Royal Avenue – restos , bars, liquor store, boutiques - the beer store, what we call Le Dépanneur is a minute away… Reserved Private Parking, in front of the studio, is included in the rental (unfortunately, only until June 30, 2017 - lease is not renewed) Free reserved parking till June 30 2017. Very vibrant If your driving or coming by cab remember that Bureau is just behind (north of) Rachel - approx 50 ft - since Bureau St is not a major street, it is common for taxi drivers not knowing it - important focal point would be Rachel and Garnier or Rachel and Fabre, in front of Park Lafontaine.read more
Fantastic stay at the studio! Perfect location and really convenient with parking. Joseph was great and so hospitable during our stay. Definitely recommend!
We were made to feel very welcome as Joseph was very friendly and knowledgable about the area. It was a nice touch to be provided with complimentary beers and juice! The photos didn't do the place justice. Enjoyed our stay
A pretty good and warm welcome ! Joseph is a nice person , he gave us a lot of advices. The appartment is quite big, confortable and central located. I just can suggest you to spend your holiday in Montreal, in this appartment.
Joseph was certainly a great host! We arrived to his lovely apartment with no trouble at all, water and beer in the fridge with apples, oranges, granola bars, and coffee beans in the coffee machine! Joseph stopped in to greet us and show us the maps and help us with some destinations in town that may be of interest. The neighborhood was the perfect locations, we were able to walk to the subway to access downtown and museums, the surrounding neighborhood was quiet and had ease of access to bustling restaurants and shops as well! The apartment was exactly as posted, my husband and I will certainly stay here again when in town!
Thanks Joseph for the stay in your apartment. Everything was as described. If you have a car and visit the city this apartment is perfect, you have a parking lot right in front of the door and you are still not to far away from the Highway. The apartment is cozy and big for two people :)
Joseph's place was excellent. Perfect location, great setup for the apartment, and Joseph was a wonderful host! I would absolutely recommend staying at Joseph's apartment!
Truly, "This is it." We could not have had a better first experience with airbnb - staying at Joseph's place proved to be the perfect way to explore all that Montreal had to offer. There was water and beer in the fridge, waiting for us to arrive after a long drive, and espresso to wake us up! The studio apartment was clean, minimal and stylish - a great home base when discovering a new city. Shortly after arriving Joseph stopped by to say bonjour and to give us some great recommendations for restaurants, bars, cafes and parks in the area. All in all, I could not recommend this listing more. Thanks Joseph!
Joseph greeted us shortly after we arrived at the apartment. He gave us some great tips on places to check out, and how to get around. He was also very responsive whenever we had questions for him during our stay. The apartment is very, very comfortable. It was perfect for the two of us. It was clean, and in a great neighborhood with lots of bars, restaurants, and shops. We'll definitely stay again if we make our way back to Montreal.

My friends and I throughly enjoyed staying at Eva and Alex's apartment. The location is prime, right off of Mont-Royal, and the apartment has everything one might need. The hosts were available via phone for any questions or concerns and that made us feel more comfortable while being in a foreign country. We definitely recommend their digs.
We had a great visit to Montreal at Eva and Alex' s pleasant spacious flat. They were super hosts, very responsive and helpful and the flat was clean bright and charming. Especially enjoyed the spacious kitchen and back porch. Had a lovely dinner party for 8 to celebrate my daughters graduation from McGill u University and there was room for everyone! Location was fantastic!
The place was amazing! There is a park nearby (walking distance) where you can skate! Eva and Alex was able to prepare everything in just few days of notice. With their help, I was able to enjoy every minutes of my vacation :-)
Had a great time at Alex's and Eva's place. Perfect location - safety and food! And Alex is a perfect host.
Nothing left to say. Everything is exactly as described. Loved the number-lock. No need for handling keys.
Nice apartment in the best location. Spacious with a lovely back patio. Great keyless lock solution which made things much smoother for the four of us staying there together.
We found a very clean appartment and it was exactly how Eva and Alex described it on the website. The appartment is very good located in Montreal to get around, do active things and the quater itself has a really good atmosphere to go out. In the preparation of our stay Eva and Alex were very friendly and anwered our questions very quickly and to our confidence. We really had some great days in the appartement!! If we ever come back to Montreal we would ask them again without hesitation!
This is a terrific apartment in a fantastic location. We stayed with our 2 year old and the backyard was a real plus. Eva and Alex are communicative and gracious hosts. Mont Royal is the best neighborhood for exploring the sights and sounds without bumping into the hoards of tourists in Old Montreal. I would definitely stay in this apartment the next time we're back in Montreal.

Great apartment in a great location. I throughly enjoyed my time here, and check-in was super easy considering Eva and Alex were away at the time. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore Montreal.
Eva & Alex were not present during our stay, but they made their place very accessible to us. The apartment was exactly as advertised & incredibly comfortable. We found the guide helpful & the location to be near perfect, as it was within walking distance to several shops, boutiques, & cafes. If we're ever back in Montreal, we'd definitely prefer to stay at Eva & Alex's place.
What a great location and great place to stay. Will definitely try to stay here again if/when we return to Montreal. Loved the decor, and appreciated the communication from the hosts and the amenities. We also loved the bagel place around the corner!
Hip Plateau is amazing! We travelled as a young couple with our parents visiting from Australia (4 people altogether). Eva and Alex's place gave us the space that we needed to spend our downtime after going out and about in Montreal. The kitchen is fully equipped to make homemade meals. You can't beat the location! Restaurants and cafes are literally metres from your place on Rue Mont Royal. We particularly loved the eclecticism of the apartment - I have inspiration for my own home decoration now. You might find yourself not seeing much on Montreal as Eva and Alex's excellent collection of books and magazines are addictive. Eva and Alex were super responsive with all of our requests and check in and out was a breeze. See you next time!
The apartment was perfect! It was in a great location, clean, comfortable, and they had the most amazing book collection. We didn't meet, as we arrived late but they made the check in/out process super simple. I'll definitely check with them for future Montreal trips!
I'd recommend Eva & Alex's apartment to anyone. Clean, loads of character, located in a vibrant neighbourhood with easy access to the rest of the city.
This apartment was lovely and in a great neighborhood. The only negative was that the street sweepers came by early and we ended up getting a ticket. Everything else was perfect. Thank you Eva and Alex.
Great experience! 2 great double beds, a nice little living room and a kitchen + patio. Great location too!

Wow! Ludovic and Sylvie were great. Friendly and super helpful with showing me things to do and see in the city. They were a really flexible and laid back couple with a perfect balance of conversation and privacy. Place was as described with private entrance meaning I wasn't disruptive coming back late in the evening. Bed/couch was comfy, no problems there. Very close to shops and transport.
Ludovic and Sylvie are such a wonderful couple! We were very lucky to stay with them. From the very first moment they made us feel welcome. The room is exactly as they described it. They made sure to give us all that we need to make our stay comfortable. They took the time to print information with the wifi password, indication of bus numbers, taxi phone numbers, a map of near by stores, etc They gave us a map of the city and they sat next to us to explain us how to get to different parts of the city. Next day they went out with us to show us around. We had a blast with them! It was a great experience! Don't miss the opportunity to host them or stay in their place, you will have a great time for sure =)
Ludovic and Sylvie have a beautiful house, easily reachable with the subway and located in a quite neighborhood. They are very nice and helpful; they were extremely patient with my bus delay and Ludovic came to pick me up at the subway station..they offer me a coffe and a homemade bread. The room is big and luminous, moreover the bed is really comfortable. Although it was for one night only, I had a perfect homestay! Thanks a lot :)
The host were excellent. I felt like home. The listing was very accurate and the neighborhood was very quite. The place was very clean and organized. Ludovic and Sylvie are very nice people. I felt from the first day like I knew them for long time. Their hospitality was excellent. Their smile was brilliant. Within few days we have become friends. We discussed many things. They were very caring, They cared about my confort. They cared about the goal of my trip to Montreal and helped me achieve the goals of that trip.
I reached out to Ludovic & Sylvie to host an exchange dinner for a group of French executives I was bringing to Montreal for business meetings. They graciously agreed to cook them dinner and host them for an evening of conversation.
Ludovic and Sylvie were really nice host and the place is awesome like in the picture if it is not more! Easy communication with Ludovic to prepare arrival. He was here upon arrival and gave us information and advices on place where to go in Montreal. Using the balcony door is very convenient especially when coming back late in the night and it also give privacy. Room, bathroom and other common place were very clean. Place close to the subway and really safe area of Montreal. I definitively recommend this place.
Wonderful people! Ludovic came to get me at the station even late at night, and it was only a few minutes walk to their place in a nice new building. The room was clean, roomy, well-decorated and perfect for me, with a nice bed for sleeping, and it's nice to have a private back entrance also. It's very close to Jarry Parc and the train station. I only heard the trains passing a couple of times, and it didn't wake me up or bother me at all. It's also close to good bus and subway connections to downtown Montreal. Ludovic's home=made bread should be famous in a city known for good bread. Everything was great, and I only wish I had more time to spend with these wonderful people.

Clean and cozy apartment with artistic finishing touches. Awesome backyard surrounded by shrubs and trees, stone patio + BBQ and year-round therapeutic hot tub make for a relaxing and enjoyable outdoor space! 2 queen beds + large sectional sofa. This home is close to everything you need in Montréal! Built in the early 1900s, this garden-level 2-bedroom 1 bath house has undergone many renovations in the past few years. That being said, it's original charm has still been retained. This home is comfortable, with a large L-couch in the living room for relaxing. In the backyard we have a garden where you can sit and bask in the sun or use the grill and enjoy a barbecue in the warmer months. Driving to our home from the North, Boulevard Saint-Michel is usually the fastest. Note: It is unlawful to make a right-hand turn at a red light on the island of Montreal. Parking: There is plenty of street parking on our street (Wurtele). Watch for restricted parking directly in front of the house, which is PERMIT ONLY PARKING. Other than that small section, the entire LEFT side of the street (opposite from our house) is FREE PARKING, or on the right side, outside of the permit only section. Just be sure to read the parking signs, as is true for the entire city of Montreal! Vehicle Rental: It's a 2 minute walk to a local vehicle rental (Location Jean Légaré; 3035 Rue Hochelaga). UBER is definitely the most convenient way to get around when going out to a restaurant and getting home at the end of the night. Simply download the app and create an account. Bixi bicycle rental is one block away (seasonal). Since the bicycle stands are moved periodically, go to Montréal's Bixi website and view the map to see bicycle stand locations and real-time bicycle availability. Don't forget your swimsuit! The backyard jacuzzi hot tub is the perfect way to relax and unwind after a long day of wandering around the city. Here are a few simple guidelines to follow if you decide to use the spa: 1. GUESTS MUST SHOWER BEFORE ENTERING THE HOT TUB. Lotions, oils, hair products and soaps quickly pollute the water. Changing the water and cleaning the filter is a costly and time consuming chore, so please don't pollute the water. We change the water regularly and check it's condition after every guest, but please let us know if you have any questions. 2. We kindly ask that no glassware or breakables be used in or around the hot tub. Plastic cups or water bottles are fine. We do not want guests to injure themselves and future guests in any way! 3. Due to the hot tub's location underneath a staircase, we unfortunately do not have a cover lift system. Therefore removal of the hot tub cover requires a specific technique: • Facing the cement wall, lift and pull the cover towards you, away from the stairs. • Flip the left side of the cover over the right side, clearing the stairs, towards the shed. • Push the cover back towards the cement wall, flush with the tub. • You can enjoy the tub half-way open for a quick and easy soak, or you can slide the cover down to rest vertically in between the shed and the hot tub. • Replacing the cover may require a 2nd person to help lift the cover up from the side closest to the cement wall. It is easiest to lift the cover up and half-way back on while you are still standing in the hot tub. If you are unable to remove or replace the cover, please let us know right away, or if our upstairs neighbour is around, he would be happy to assist you. 4. Ensure the hot tub cover is completely closed around the entire tub after you are finished.read more
Had a great time staying at Christine's place! It was very clean and put together. The walk was an easy 5 minutes to get to the metro which can take you right into the heart of the city. The neighbors seemed friendly too. Christine was a great host! She made sure everything was accommodated for us and checked in during our trip to make sure we were enjoying our stay
We had a great time at Christines and Vincents place. The Appartement is clean and has everything you need to make yourself at home easily. The contact was very friendly and the recommendations for the local area (like Restaurants) were great.
Christine was an excellent host, and we didn't experience a single issue with staying at her location. She was very responsive throughout our stay, and was willing to help us if we weren't sure or needed anything. I would certainly recommend her.
Wow! What can I say about Christine as a host and her apartment! We had a wonderful time! Though Christine could not be there to meet us she made sure we could easily access the apartment once we arrived! The apartment was wonderful and all we could have hoped for and more! The kitchen was well stocked with anything you would need to cook your own meals, something we did for most meals as we aren't crazy about eating out for every single meal when traveling. The apartment was clean, the rooms were spacious, and the hot tub was a great way to relax after a day of sightseeing! We had brought a vehicle with us but since the apartment is so close to the metro (literally probably a 5 minute walk) we just parked out van and bought metro passes! The apartment was wonderfully located! Not right downtown but close enough we could easily pop on the metro and be anywhere we wanted to go very quickly! There were plenty of grocery stores around as well which was perfect for us! I would definitely recommend Christine's apartment to anyone traveling to Montreal! Not only was the apartment fantastic but Christine herself was so helpful and willing to recommend places to eat and things to do! She was also very efficient at getting back to me whenever I had questions that arose during our stay! Thanks for a wonderful trip Christine and hopefully we will get a chance to stay at your place again! :)
Listing description was accurate, apartment was lovely and well equipped. Convenient location and free parking across street. Hot tub is fantastic. Would highly recommend and stay again.
Christine and Vincent were very prompt in responding and gave clear instructions re check in procedure even though they were not able to be there. Their suggestions on places to visit was excellent and the bakery recommended by them was superb. Close to the metro and just a short trip to the city. Will stay here again.
What a great place to stay! Christine was very considerate and super helpful with any questions we had. The home was spotless and a perfect location to see the sights of Montreal. The hot tub was amazing and we would highly recommend her home to anyone considering a place to stay while in the city. Thanks again Christine!
The house was really lovely and very cosy. Everything you need is available! The bedroom are big a spacious. The beds are very comfortable. Its also very close to the metro so it's pretty much perfect! Would recommend 100%
