  • We had a true lunch wonderful time in this gorgeous little house. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. Fiona was a wonderful host leaving us fresh brown bread and cake (which didn’t last long 😉) and fresh milk and eggs. The house was perfectly clean and very warm and cosy, even through the wildest of storms. It had everything we could possibly have needed and we couldn’t have been more comfortable. We loved thy e two little dogs who came to visit us every night, they couldn’t have been sweeter and more affectionate. I’m surprised my son didn’t try to sneak them into the car when we were checking out. The house is in a fantastic location, very close to the village, shops and pubs and the surrounding area is just beautiful. This was a great base for anyone wanting to visit the cliffs of mother or just to sample the great music on offer in the local pubs. We will be back!

  • Anna was a very friendly host. There was food in the kitchen for us which was lovely and the electric blankets were a nice touch. The location was perfect.

    Yvonne2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • I'm just back from a weekend stay with friends at Anna's place. The house is absolutely a fabulous place to stay. Anna greeted us on arrival and was so friendly and helpful. There are so many thoughtful touches in the house with the best of everything provided. The beds were so comfortable and everything was spotless. I just loved Anna's decor which was so tasteful and the kitchen has everything in it you could possibly need. I will definitely be back to stay again. The location was just perfect and we had two lovely meals in nearby Milltown Malbay. Overall the Station House is a brilliant place to stay at!

  • Very nice place to stay

    brian2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here with some friends for a wedding. The place was perfect- had everything we needed for the weekend and was in a perfect location. Anna was lovely and went out of her way to welcome us.

    Treasa2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent welcome from Anna very accommodating in terms of arrival and departure times. Many tips, and places to see. The 4 bedrooms with private bathroom very nice. Very small flat, the absence of a lounge .... to have a drink! (Oh the French ... !!!). Level location, possibility to walk to the village (10 minutes). Atmosphere in pubs a little disappointing, probably because out of season. The legendary kindness of Irish people real!

    Patrick2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed at the Station House recently for a 3 night weekend with my 3 brothers in law. We try to do this in a different country every year as 2 of them are from England, and the other from France. Anna's place was perfect! We each had an ensuite bedroom but had the kitchen, conservatory and outside seating to sit together. Anna and her husband Mark were the perfect hosts. They recommended the best pubs/restaurants etc. We even joined them for a drink in one of the local pubs on our last night for a drink and to hear their friends play music. Miltown Malbay is a great little town for music and craic, and in my opinion a greater reflection of life in West Clare than the more touristy villages. The accommodation itself is in a quiet area but is only a 5 minute stroll to the pubs and restaurants. There is a service station next door for provisions and a big supermarket a couple of hundred metres away. Great spot, great hosts and perfect amenities. We'll be back!!

    Liam2019-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Anna is a pleasure to deal with. She is very responsive and flexible and a very hospitable host! Her place is in a great location and she is very familiar with the area so can recommend restaurants and sites to see. She left us breakfast items which was a great touch as we did not have to worry about where to purchase them. Would definitely recommend staying there if you are going to Milltown!

  • Liz and Annette made the stay a wonderful experience. The place was clean and tidy. There is enough space for at least 4 people with a big kitchen. Liz has answered every question in a matter of minutes and was always helpful in any way. Her assistant Annette has been very helpful with eveything around the house. • Maura was a wonderful host. We were made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Maura went to a lot of effort to make our stay comfortable, particularly with the continental breakfast which was great and far more than we expected for the price we payed. The location was ideal, as it was close to Miltown Malbay which had plenty of options for dinner and good music every night.

'The Nest' is a cosy self contained apartment with a kitchenette, bathroom, private entrance and garden. The perfect getaway for couples or for a personal retreat, 'The Nest' is off the beaten track in a charming part of West Clare, only 10 minutes drive from beautiful beaches and the town of Milltown Malbay, famous for its traditional Irish music. Lahinch, the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Kilkee, Loop Head, and Ennis are 30 to 40 minutes drive. There is no public transport to the Nest.
The apartment is attached to the main house and has its own entrance. Double doors lead out to a patio and garden. The room is a generous size with a double bed, reading chair, tv, table and chairs. The kitchenette has all you need for preparing your meals and snacks. You can take your meals out in the patio, weather permitting. The bathroom has a spacious shower. Lots of books and games line the shelves. Wifi cover is of average strength, mobile phone cover is poor... Perfect for a digital detox!
I live on the family farm. My house is in a quiet and charming part of West Clare, off the beaten track in gently rolling hills that have inspired songs and traditional tunes. It is 10 drive minutes from the coast, the Wild Atlantic Way, and all the necessary shops and services. Our local church is a 5 minutes walk away and the local pub is a 20 minute walk or a five minute drive. Aside from the locals, your neighbours are cows and calves, horses, donkeys, foxes, rabbits and hares.
  • Perfect location, Carol is very friendly person! We loved the cat !

  • Carol's place is perfect to discover the burren and to visit the cliffs of moher. Her place is very clean and quiet. We also got her own baked (very delicious) bread. We would definitely come back again!

  • The nest is a perfect spot to discover Clare. Close to Miltown malbay, but in the middle of the nature, you have a wonderful overview of the surroundings. Communication was perfect, Carol is a fantastic host with a very interesting background. Clean, cosy with a little gift at our arrival, our little studio had everything. We enjoyed our time with her and Pip, the cat who spent some times with us! I highly recommend.

Lahinch town and beach are a pleasant 10 minute stroll. 10 km from The Cliffs of Moher. Fancy something a bit different ? Visit The Garage! One tip ! Though adjoined to our home, The Garage is private and self contained.. There’s a sofa, Eir TV, Amazon Alexa so you can listen to your favourite music and excellent WiFi . A recent guest described Lahinch as ‘super dreamy’ ! I think that sums it up well ! The town is very pretty with a beautiful beach which is ideal for Surfing. Wetsuits and surfboards can be hired and lessons can be booked at the local surf schools. The championship golf course in renowned worldwide and in 2019 hosted the Irish Open bringing many visitors to our small town. Nearby towns and villages Ennistymon , Liscannor , Miltown Malbay are a joy to saunter around and abundant with quirky shops , coffee shops , pubs where you hear local musicians play traditional music. The surrounding countryside and west coast is very wild and picturesque and a visit to the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren is a must.

  • Loved it.

    Eugene2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This was a really great stay. Very comfortable. Wish I would have stayed here instead of the city longer. This is the spot for sure.

    Micah2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • This is the perfect little seaside spot! It was a short maybe 5 minute walk to the shore, and a 10 minute walk to all of the lovely places in Lahinch. Such a sweet town. The studio was perfect for two, and the entire space was very comfortable. There were snacks and beverages on the counter/in the fridge, which was so nice after getting in and being hungry. I recommend at least 2 nights here. The drive to the Cliffs of Moher was short and easy, and you’ll want to explore the town itself. Can’t recommend enough!

    Alexis2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at The Garage and couldn't have asked for a better place- sparkling clean and every little touch thought through to make it feel like a home from home. Couldn't reccommend more highly. Thanks! Hannah and Simon

    Mary2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay in ‘The garage’ it’s stunning inside, it had everything you could need for a cozy weekend and is in walking distance to the town! Liz was very thoughtful and left us out plenty of food for breakfast. If your into surfing you can check out the waves from the end of the road, the view is beautiful! We would definitely stay again!

Bright, modern one bedroom cabin in the heart of the countryside. We are a 10 minute drive from Lahinch beach and 15 minute drive from Doolin. Our cabin has breathtaking views of the countryside with Liscannor bay in the distance and is a great base for visiting the Aran Islands, Cliffs Of Moher and the Burren. We are located 7km from the town of Ennistymon in the peaceful town land of Carrowduff.
The cabin is situated on our 2.5 acre property and is a small (5m x 5.8m) but bright and cheery space. The cabin is heavily insulated in the walls, floor and ceiling so it is cosy and warm all year round and there are electric radiators for the cooler months. There is an en-suite shower room with a waterless eco composting toilet, electric shower and wash hand basin. The kitchen/living dining area has a kitchenete suitable for preparing basic meals with a portable electric 2 ring hob, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle and toaster. There are glass patio doors that open out onto a small covered deck and there is a gravel patio area beyond the deck with beautiful views.
We are situated within a 10-15min drive of the Cliffs Of Moher and all of the following villages, Doolin, Lahinch, Lisdoonvarna, Ennistymon and Liscannor. Kilshanny House is our nearest pub just over 3km away. There are regular live traditional music nights in the pubs in Doolin through out the year. Liscannor also offers pubs and restaurants as does Lahinch which is also famous for its beautiful surfing beach. The town has many surf schools offering lessons suitable for all ages. The town of Ennistymon is 7km away and is a busy little rural town with supermarkets, banks, post office, grocery shops, pubs and restaurants.

  • Fiona was very helpful and considerate. The apartment is in a beautiful spot.

    Ben2020-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed here with my partner as we had planned on spending the day surfing at Lahinch (which is very close by). Fiona was very welcoming when we arrived, and had even left some homemade bread and scones for us, both of which were delicious. The apartment itself is lovely; very clean, modern and bright with everything you need for a trip out west! We would highly recommend booking with Fiona if you are looking for somewhere to stay in the area.

    Jamie2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • This beautiful apartment is steps away from the coast. The Cliffs are a short drive up the road and we used this as a base to explore the west coast, taking day trips down to Kilarney, over to Shannon/Limerick, and if we wanted to, up to Galway. The kitchen was the perfect size and fully equipped for us to make breakfast. I would highly recommend Blue Ivy to anyone wanting to get out of the city and enjoy the country. Absolutely amazing!

    Mandy2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous place by the sea. We arrived very late on the Friday night with very little food. Fiona had baked fresh brown bread as well as banana bread and had stocked fridge with some essentials. Perfectly clean and everything new. Kids loved it too. Would highly recommend

  • Chris was a great host. Cool guy, very helpful and gave us lots of tips for going out and getting taxis if we needed. Offered us use of another room as well as the one we booked, but we were happy to just stay in the one room. Room (4 person) was basic but very clean and comfortable and as depicted. Location is perfectly located in Lahinch beside the sea and around the corner from the Main Street. Would be very happy to stay here again.

  • Had a lovely stay here last week (1st week October 2019). It is right in the heart of Lahinch and the host (Chris) was great in recommending the best local attractions/restaurants. It is a great base to explore this beautiful part of the country - In the space of a day I was able to visit the cliffs of moher, the burren and the ailwee caves. The room was lovely and clean and I thoroughly enjoyed a fried irish breakfast the day after my explorations! Would definitely stay here again to explore the other attractions that I didn't have time to visit

  • The Bungalow is a charming, quaint cottage right near the center of town. It had everything we needed and was very clean. The garden is gorgeous, a wonderful place to relax. Gertie is absolutely lovely, and checked to make sure we had everything a few times. She was also kind enough to book our dog in at the local vet so we could get her required pill and note in her passport before returning to the UK. Everyone we met was so friendly, and the area definitely needs more than a couple days to explore!

    Shelley2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Gertie's Bungalow in Milltown was a highlight of our trip. We were very comfortable, it was a home away from home. A remarkable slice of Ireland.

    Poul2019-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Superbly located in the centre of town and 50 yards from shops, pubs and restaurants this has all you need for a great stay in the heart of music-town. While the decor is somewhat dated, bathroom is modern and spotlessly clean and beds are comfy. Electric blankets are a nice touch. Great patio area with nice outdoor furniture and gas BBQ. Kitchen is small but has everything you would need. Gertie is a fantastic host who goes out of her way to make you very welcome and is always there to offer tips or sort any problems quickly - could not hope for a better host.

  • We had an amazing stay at Seashelter. The view is even more vast and incredible than it looks l in the pictures. You can walk down to the water and it is an amazing sight. Karyn and Eric were such generous and gracious hosts and greeted us with fruit, croissants, a bottle of wine and a fridge full of eggs, Irish butter and cheese. They even provide wellies in all sizes to borrow to walk through the marshy field down to the water. If we are ever back that way we will certainly stay there again.

  • What can we say. What an experience for myself my wife and our 3 kids. From check in we were warmly welcomed and made feel so at ease. The kids adored the space but especially the hot tub ! We walked to the sea and we hung out as a family. The house is immaculate, the space is stunning and the hosts are even nicer. What a pleasure to meet such lovely people and stay at the Sea Shelter. Good for the soul ! Thanks.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the rain! Eric& Karyn were lovely, greeted us and had the sauna/hot tub ready for us on the Saturday evening. The house was lovely& cosy, lots of towels& toiletries. They kindly had a bottle of prosecco for us. The only down side was there wasnt an oven which we didnt realise. We will be back in the summer to enjoy the views. All the cats& dogs we met on the property were super friendly.

  • Marjorie’s place was beautiful! A short 5 min drive to Milltown Malbay and 15 to Lahinch. Beautiful breakfast and Marjorie had baked fresh bread. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious, we also had a window overlooking the country side. Marjorie was also very helpful and provided lots of tips and things to do. Thanks!

  • We had a lovely stay at Marjorie’s place. It’s a beautiful place with a wide view across the beautiful landscape. Our highlight was the rich breakfast with self made bread and actual coffee instead of instant coffee! Marjorie is very lovely and always happy to help.

    Felix2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • Marjorie is a very friendly and open host. She warmly welcomed us and gave us great tips on what to discover in the surrounding area (it's really close to the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren or also Lahinch Beach). She even offers selfmade bread for breakfast which was really delicious! The room itself, as well as the bathroom, was very clean and comfy. We highly recommend Marjorie's place!

  • Marjorie is a great hostess and it was all as described in the ad. A very cozy house and we got a delicious breakfast. Thanks a lot for this! How would come back :)

  • We stayed in 6 different accommodation in Ireland and that was by far the best. Marjorie was very welcoming, the room was beautiful and the view is just breathtaking. Marjorie gave us tipps where to drive best and where to go to watch the sunset from up there. She even baked a fresh bread for breakfast.

Clahane Shore Lodge NEW 3 bedroom house with amazing views of the Ocean from every room. Sit under the stars & listen to the ocean from our spectacular sea facing patios . It’s the ideal setting for walks along the coast, visiting the Cliffs of Moher and has all the amenities of Liscannor-seafood restaurants and traditional music pubs. It is perfect for visiting Lahinch Beach, Doolin, Aran Islands & The Burren. A haven of peace and tranquility, it’s the ideal place to relax and unwind.
This brand new house has a very stylish & modern open plan kitchen/living & dining area with spectacular views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean & countryside from every room. It has 3 bedrooms & sleeps 8 people . The utility room has a washing machine/dryer. There are 2 patio areas looking out over the ocean and it’s the perfect location to watch the sun rise & set against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. Why not go for a swim or just sit and watch the waves crash on the shoreline from your doorstep.
Liscannor is a magnificent coastal village on the west coast of County Clare, situated at the end of Liscannor Bay – and it’s a place that really comes into its own during the summer season. It has an award winning seafood restaurant, while there are also plenty of pubs, a bakery, an art gallery & coffee shops. There’s plenty to keep you busy in and around Liscannor. The Cliffs of Moher are just 4km/2.5 miles from the village – while angling is a very popular activity both at the pier and at the beach. Little people will also love a trip to the Moher Hill Open Farm – to meet some favourite animals and learn while having fun. Just outside the village you will find Clahane- a palette of dramatic scenery, that hosts the purest natural landscapes and has unhindered panoramic views of Liscannor Bay and beyond to Spanish Point and Mutton Island. Liscannor Bay is a bay on the west coast of Ireland in County Clare. Hag’s Head provides the northern border for the bay and Cream Point the southern. The village of Liscannor is located on the north side of the bay, while the village of Lahinch is at its eastern end. A short unpaved pathway from the local road (Cloghaundine) enables pedestrian access to rocky outcrops along a considerable stretch of coastline. Lahinch is a small, welcoming and truly lively holiday resort only 4km from Clahane with an atmosphere and energy that’s all its own. It nestles at the head of Liscannor Bay, beside a 2 km long beach of golden sands. The shape of the resort creates Atlantic breakers that attract surfing and canoeing enthusiasts from all over the world and Lahinch has earned a reputation as a top ‘surf centre’ – with surf schools, social life and great atmosphere to boot. It’s also great for lovers of other water sports too: sailing, swimming, kite surfing, skin-diving, deep-sea and fresh water fishing are also popular here.
  • I can not say enough amazing things about this location! Ocean front, beautiful walk, so many amazing small touches that make you feel at home. I never wanted to leave

Quirky elevated cottage called Tigeen, little house. It is hard to adequately describe the beauty of the setting of this cottage, I fell in love with it without ever being inside. It is totally private without being isolated, it is on its own little hill overlooking the bay of Liscannor. Inside the walls are 3-foot-thick with the cottage being over 200 years old and has hand -made wooden shutters to cover the windows. It is full of light even on the wildest of days as it has dual aspect windows.
Perfect for a romantic break away in this lovely part of Ireland or just a great getaway from the hustle and bustle, this traditional Irish cottage offers a four-poster bed, a roll top bath in the en-suite & a wood burning stove. It is surrounded by a field in front and behind the cottage, that is perfect from pets to explore securely.
The coastline, from Loop Head (the“pointy bit”) in the south to Black Head in the north, is a winning combination of rugged sea cliffs and sheltered sandy beaches. The villages and seaside towns along the coast are all small but each is famous in its own right for different things. There is much to explore so without further ado here is our Authentic West Clare to do list: ________________________________________ The Cliffs of Moher The Cliffs of Moher are Ireland’s most visited site. There is a good reason. They are not just beautiful and majestic, they are awe-inspiring. They are good for the soul. Time stands still in their presence. The Cliffs stretch for 8km from Hag’s Head just west of Liscannor to O’Brien’s Tower. The cliffs are accessible from the R478 that runs between Lahinch and Doolin. The new visitor center built on the other side of a hill is well worth a look and is reasonably priced. Parking at the Cliffs, however, is not. A flat fee is charged per car. The fee is not really for parking, you are in fact paying for the cost of the new visitor centre. Try not to get upset. Instead gaze in wonder at the nature’s work in progress sculpture that is the Cliffs of Moher. Authentic tip: For a sea view of the Cliffs take a boat trip from Liscannor or Doolin http://www.cliffs-of-moher-cruises.com/. A combined Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands daytrip is also possible. ________________________________________ Doolin A few miles north of the Cliffs of Moher lies the scattered village of Doolin. One long extended street flanked by countless B&Bs, guesthouses and hostels, Doolin doesn’t sound very inviting, but it is. What Doolin has that no other town or village in Ireland has is three great pubs with quality traditional Irish music sessions 7 nights a week, 363 days a year. This is not like the singing pubs of Killarney or the rebel ballad singing you will hear in Dublin pubs. This is fiddles, banjos, flutes, accordions, tin whistles, bodhrans, bagpipes, and spoons. This is the McCoy Tyner. This is Clare, the home of trad music. tip: the pubs in Doolin fill up very early especially at weekends. Get in early. All three pubs (O’Connor’s, McDermott’s, McGann’s) serve decent food. Eat, sit back, relax and treat your ears to a feast for a change. ________________________________________ 3. Explore the Burren The Burren is a tough one to describe. It’s basically a barren limestone area in the northwest corner of Clare. It was formed some 350m years ago while still under water. The rock twists and swirls and occasionally whips itself into conical hills. Despite the rocky landscape, the area is also famous for its flora and fauna with many unique flower species. The Burren is an otherworldly place, but one that cannot really be appreciated from a car. You need to get out and walk. If going alone make sure you have a good map and compass. There are precious few landmarks and fewer trails so it is easy to get lost. A better idea is to go with a local who knows the area. The Burren is also rich in ancient burial sites with over 70 megalithic tombs scattered throughout the area. The most famous is the Poulnabrone Dolmen which is over 5,000 years old. Some of the remains recently excavated were dated to 3800BC! The construction of a dolmen is simple– one large limestone slab laid on top of two or three upright slabs –but the effect is somehow profound, particularly when one considers their age and the fact that nobody has yet figured out how they were constructed. The Poulnabrone Dolmen is in a field 300m off the Ballyvaughan to Corofin road (R480) approx 8km south of Aillwee Cave, which, as it happens is also well worth visiting: http://www.aillweecave.ie/ ________________________________________ 4. Do the Loop Head Drive/Walk From the beach at Kilkee sea cliffs extend all the way to Loop Head. These cliffs are no where near as high as Moher, but have the advantage of being totally wild and unspoiled. No visitors centre, no parking charges. Must likely just you, the roaring ocean and the wind-swept treeless landscape. You can drive all the way from Kilkee to Loop Head (Loop Head scenic drive – R487), but you are much better off walking the last few miles. Hugging the coast from Kilkee you will eventually come to a beach where you can park. From there simply follow the clifftop trail all the way to the lighthouse at Loop Head. It is one of the best coastal walks in Ireland. And Loop Head itself is worthy of the effort. Not only is it remarkably pointy, on a clear day you can see across the Shannon estuary to Mount Brandon on the Dingle Peninsula ________________________________________ 5. Go Dolphin Watching The Shannon Estuary is home to a large pod of bottle-nosed dolphins. Recent counts suggests upwards of a 100 dolphins. Calving season takes place between May and August and dolphin watching trips are run from the local villages of Kilrush and Carrigaholt. Deserted Scattery Island just 2km off the coast with the remains of an 8th century monastery and round tower is also worth a look. http://www.discoverdolphins.ie/ http://www.dolphinwatch.ie/ http://www.shannondolphins.ie/ Scattery Island : http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclare/places/scattery.htm ________________________________________ 6. Golf, Surf or Swim at Lahinch Lahinch is a simple seaside town at heart. On sunny weekends, locals from all over the county flock to its sheltered beach. But there’s a lot more going on. Lahinch is one of Ireland’s better surfing beaches and a number of surf schools operate in the town. The two-mile-long beach in Lahinch with its variety of breaks caters for the novice, intermediate and experienced surfers. Lahinch has the advantage of slow rolling Atlantic waves which makes it ideal for learning to surf. The famous links golf course at Lahinch runs almost the full length of the beach and has been attracting golfers since 1892 when officers attached to a local British army regiment spotted the potential of the then untouched duneland and together with officials from Limerick Golf Club laid out the course and founded Lahinch Golf Club. It’s a little busier these days and a round of golf generally needs to be booked months in advance. Lahinch Surf School : http://www.lahinchsurfschool.com/ Lahinch Golf Club: http://www.lahinchgolf.com/ ________________________________________ 7. Visit the Aran Islands Located just 10km off the coast from Doolin, the Aran Islands are like a microcosm of Ireland through the ages. From the Bronze Age stone forts of Dun Aengus and Dun Ducathair (to name just two), to the monastic settlement of Teampall Bheanain, to the Irish speaking fishermen and farmers of today, the Aran Islands will transport you to another Ireland, one obviously ancient and yet most definitely living and thriving in the 21 st century. There is much to see and take in on the islands and a day trip really doesn’t do them justice. Inishmore, the largest of the islands contains most of the historical sites of interest and is therefore the most visited. Inisheer, the smallest and closest to Doolin is also popular. For quietness and solitude try Inishmaan. Or better yet spend a week exploring all three. Now that would be a vacation to remember. http://www.aranislands.ie/ Ferries to all three islands go from Doolin in County Clare andRossaveal in County Galway. There are regular sailings all summer but times can vary according to weather and tidal conditions, particularly affecting ferries from Doolin. Be sure to check ferry times in advance. From Doolin: http://www.doolinferries.com/ http://www.doolinferry.com/ From Rossaveal: http://www.aranislandferries.com/ Discover Trad Music People come to Clare from all over the world to hear traditional Irish music.Of course it can be heard in most counties of Ireland but nowhere are the people more passionate about it than in Clare. And it shows. The quantity, quality and variety of pub sessions going on across the county throughout the year is simply unmatched anywhere else in Ireland. It would be a shame if you came to Clare and missed out!
  • Such a cute place! The furniture and decor is very charming. Beautiful views. Host was very sweet!

  • Wonderfully charming ( quirky) cottage in an amazing location full of character and comfortable furnishings. Mandy thought of every little detail including a well stocked kitchen, excellent WiFi and the most comfortable bed ever.... not forgetting the amazing bath and great library of books❤️

    Caroline2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Our time in the cottage was wonderful! It is a peaceful, lovely location with an amazing view of the sea. The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed. Mandy is a friendly, attentive, and considerate host. There is a fuel shortage in Ireland so the amount that can be used is preset, but you can use more and pay for it or buy wood at the local shops and use the wood burning stove. The location is in the country but a short drive to several villages as well as the Cliffs of Moher. Our stay was lovely and I hope to return someday!

    Melissa2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Mandy was a stellar host and such a gem: quick communication, offered local suggestions and even had a fire started for us when we arrived! Her cottage was a much needed respite - great location. We loved walking to the Rock Shop and down to the coast. Also so close to shopping in Lahinch and pubs at Doolin! Highly recommend this place - it was a dream!

    Laura2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • If I could get more than 5 stars for hospitality, I would! We just happened to get to Ireland when they were having hurricane winds, and Mandy was so kind to let us check in early and hide out the storm! She also reached out to us daily to let us know of local events going on!

    Jaclyn2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Five stars just doesnt do it .... Mandy's place was spectacular... cannot buy that view !! The cottage is beautiful, the furniture, the layout , the facilities. The bath was just wonderful. Mandy was so helpful with local suggestions, so we got to tour a little off the beaten track ... walked from the house to Hags Head , which was gorgeous. The cottage was so cosy and warm, even with with all the beautiful scenery and views, we were loathe to leave each day Will most definitely be returning to this slice of paradise Thank you Mandy for a perfect escape

    Colin2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Mandy’s place was amazing. You are located on a beautiful hillside with views of the ocean. She gave us all the tips of the town and the surrounding towns and how to see the tourist spots without the hassle of the tourist crowd (although it was not a big deal for my friend and I since we travelled during the winter months). I would recommend her place to everyone!

    Anna2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had an absolutely wonderful stay this weekend at Mandy’s cottage just outside Liscannor. Mandy is a fantastic host, nothing is too much trouble and she provided us with lots of local tips, both for sightseeing and food recommendations! The cottage was very clean and comfortable and we loved having the wood burning stove in the evenings - quite hard to tear yourself away! The cottage has beautiful sea views and is rural without actually being too far from the town and other local attractions. We would come back in a heartbeat!

The best are the views and everything is ready for families with children (toys, books, movies, cot, high chair). • I enjoyed the sparkling clean and comfy appartement. Great location not far from the Cliffs and Lahinch beach. The check-in was easy and Brenda always responded quickly and attentively to messages. Thanks a lot!
