Jonh and Flora's place is so beautiful, They have everthing that you need to enjoy your stay. They are very friendly and gave us products from their own garden. The house is very spacious and it has plenty of entertainment for everyone. We will be back.

Amazing!!! Perfect for what we need, this place really accommodates families, our kids had a blast with all the toys. Plenty of space, wonderfully equipped, great place to hang out after a day of mountain biking. Great location if you are into MTB as Hidden Vale is approx 20mins away! John and Flora and lovely, great communication very welcoming. We shall return one day soon for more MTB and relaxing.

Exceeded expectations!! When we first got there my mind was blown; the place is incredibly spacious yet cozy and the decor is beautiful. It has everything you could ask for, and more. My friends were all ecstatic when we arrived and deeply regretted not staying longer. We must've played pool and ping pong for 7 hours straight. The hosts are super nice and friendly. Definitely planning to return here soon!

Everything is wonderful, the home-grown fruit, fresh eggs, bread and milk, the beautiful decor, the huge kitchen with all equipments, the super games space with pool, table tennis table, the train set and lots of toys. We enjoy watching the galaxy and the stars at the deck at night that we would never see in HK. John and Flora's home is really incredible. We had a fantastic winter weekend escape here! John & Flora welcomed us with a basket of home-grown fruit & a roaring fireplace...they were so delightful & the perfect hosts! The kids couldn't get enough of all the games & toys in the house - our 4 year old says we'll just have to come back again and stay for longer next time:-) Everything was spotless, modern & high quality. Couldn't recommend it highly enough! We loved this house!

This has got to be one of the best places to stay. The location, the house, and especially the table tennis & Pool table. My friends came and stayed and they absolutely loved the place!!!!!!!! Do yourself a big favour and stay at this place, honestly incredible! The hosts are absolutely AMAZING

We had such a wonderful stay! Flora and John were so kind and welcoming. We arrived when it was dark and the view of the stars from the deck was devine! The house is so beautifully presented and stocked, one of the children came up after looking around the house and said "It's like we are rich!" We wish we had time to stay longer! We hope to be back soon!

The cabin is situated in a very private setting with a rural outlook. It was wonderful to be able to look at the night sky without the glow of a nearby town, and it was really peaceful. This is a real treat. The cabin itself and its facilities were more than adequate - the DVD collection was great! You would need a car to get around easily as it would be a long walk to the shop. Nevertheless, the shops are only a 5 minute drive away, and other townships are not far away. I would stay here again if it were available for the timing of my next visit.

The cabin was lovely - had a kitchen, TV with DVDs, a piano, lovely bathroom and was very spacious. The best bit was the gas bbq and waking up to beautiful surroundings! A really lovely place to stay, and would've booked more nights if we could!

Cool little cabin everything you need

Steve's cottage is a private and self-sufficient with comfortable bedding and a nice little veranda for relaxing. The Plainlands shops are just down the road but it feels very private and quiet. I had a really enjoyable stay!

I stayed for 4 nights and used the cottage as a base, when not on set for a film that was being shot in nearby Laidley. It was comfortable and quiet with a good selection of music dvds. My husband and 10 year old son joined me for 1 night and were made very welcome as well. We very much enjoyed our stay here.

Spacious cottage that was perfect for our weekend at the Gratton Heavy Horse Field Day. Great hosts who were very accommodating with our last minute change of arrival time. We're looking forward to staying again next year!

Lovely relaxing tranquil location. We had 4 weeks here exploring the local towns & valley. Miriam & Alex leave you to do your own thing. Accommodation is spacious & homely. Surrounded by small farms with sheep & cattle. No problems with hot water or electricity etc.

Fantastic. If you need peace, reflection or a home away from home this is a ARGGHH space. The home is spacious and clean. We practically lived outside under the verandah with the amazing panoramic views and fresh air then lit the potbelly stove up outside under the stars. If your stressed and need space this is just what you need! Oh and Pepa the owners dog popped down regularly for a pat and a Hi! Loved it!!!

If you like the bush and quietness, this is for you. Only two drawbacks is Miriam and Alex live right above and really should try to spend less time right above your outside area. No internet whatsoever.

Room is large, clean and open. Bed is very comfortable and I found the study desk very useful for my work trip. Had full use of kitchen (with bacon and eggs!!) and shared bathroom. Everything was neat and tidy and room had lots of little touches - eg tea/coffee facilities, heater, air con and ear plugs if main road traffic an issue. Had a wonderful stay, Catherine was absolutely lovely and fantastic and would highly recommend to anyone.

Such a beautiful setting, wildlife galore! Janice and Paul were amazing. They came and met us for check-in and allowed a really late check out. House is HUGE and there's even a TV in the bedroom, winner.

Staying with Inge was like staying on a mini farm surrounded by nature, animals, vegetables/herb gardens and nice and quite. Inge is very tentative and it was nice to find somebody who likes to look after nature and this planet like I do.

I would highly recommend Inge. She is a wonderful host and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in their beautiful rural setting!

Nice, quiet, comfortable single room with private bathroom and use of facilities in rural location with good access to the Warrego Highway and Plainland shopping centre, only a 15 minute drive from the UQ Gatton campus. Inge is a kind and accommodating hostess. The animals are delightful, even the early morning cockerel! I enjoyed my stay and look forward to another visit.

I stayed during 2 weeks at Inge and Volker’s house. It was a wonderful stay. The house (kitchen, living room) is large, there is plenty of space and you have your own bathroom. Inge always maintains the house very clean and pays attention to your needs. If you like animals and a farm-style life it is the perfect place to go. They have two dogs and many birds (chooks, roosters, geese, ducks, ..) and manage to live in a sustainable way. So if you like eggs just open the fridge and enjoy as many eggs as you can eat! The chooks will recycle your food waste. Inge loves cooking and I enjoyed having the opportunity to share meals with them. Inge will advise you about the activities, markets, .. you can do and visit around.

Inge and her husband were very welcoming and I felt at home straight away. It is a lovely property and all amenities and living areas were clean spacious. They were very curtious and relaxed hosts. 5 STARS

Sharon was a wonderful host, even offering to go over and above the call of duty of an Airbnb host to help out my husband and I. The room was clean and very comfortable and the home was set amongst beautiful surroundings. We were sad we couldn't stay longer.

Because of other accommodation cancelling, we contacted Sharon on the day of our arrival. She was extremely helpful accommodating us at such short notice, and welcomed us warmly when we arrived. The room and adjacent ensuite are very modern and the queen bed comfortable.

Sharon greeted us with a big smile as soon as we arrived and was very welcoming as well as texting us ensuring we could find our way. We only stayed one night but it was comfortable, immaculate, and spacious. Little turbo (Sharon's dog) was a cutie and also very friendly. The family also gave us friendly advice about our destination. 10/10 would definitely stay here again :)

Didn't actually get to meet the host as I couldn't contact him through the number given to us. The property was as described. It is more suited to back packers, the price is reasonable for what you get.

One of my housemates told me that the house was not like that before...I guess that regular cleaning and a room key for me would be better though I know everyone is trustworthy. Housemates were fine. If you are backpackers and need some mates, the place wasn't too bad for you.

Helen is a fantastic host. The place provided a cosy retreat and a very comfortable bed after two weeks of camping. Helen was very helpful in providing whatever I needed, along with some excellent conversations. A nice warm fire for the evening, and plenty of sunny outdoor locations during a winter's day. If you needed to get into Brisbane for the day the train station is only 5 minutes walk away. For a single traveller or couple the place is top notch value for money.

Helen"s home was a wonderful stay! Was lovely to have some down time during our time away and we certainly got that with our own privacy, a beautiful claw bath to soak after a long day. Rooms were gorgeously decorated and clean, no air conditioner which didn't bother us at all due to Helen supplying fantastic fancy fans which worked a treat! We will definetly return in the near future! Helen was lovely and helped with any enquiries we had ect...sadly we didn't get to meet Helen in person but we met her son Joshua who was an absolute gem! thankyou so much once again for having us! The house is a beautiful Queenslander - well preserved and beautifully decorated. The rooms were comfortable. The neighbourhood is quiet. Helen was very generous with provisions. Her house provided the perfect spot for a relaxed retreat with the scenic rim within a 90 minute drive. Highly recommended!

Helen is a lovely host with a friendly and welcoming demeanour. Her accomodation is a gorgeous example of the traditional historic homes of the region, offering visitors a comfortable and enjoyable stay in a quiet country town. Rosewood is conveniently located within a short drive to QLD Raceway or as a restful stop for those travellers on their way further west.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Country Tranquility. Bron and her husband Rollie made us feel very welcome and it was like visiting old friends. The accommodation was immaculate, private and very comfortable and it was very quiet and relaxing especially at night. We had a lovely swim in the pool and enjoyed chatting with Bron and Rollie who were very helpful with directions, local dining tips and info on the area. We chose Bron's due to its proximity to the Hidden Vale Mountain Bike Park which we visited during the day. We would definitely return to Country Tranquility if we're in the area again and definitely recommend it to others as a unique country experience.

How wonderful to wake up to the sound of cows in the meadow, chickens in the distance and birds babbling in the trees outside my window. Amazing! If you are looking for a squeaky clean environment with first class facilities this is not for you. This is a working farm, filled with Charissa’s wisdom, warmth and love of the environment and humanity. Good food, a comfy snuggly bed and animals all around are extras . From the first point of contact this was an experience I will treasure and hope to relive sometime in the future. Thank you Charissa for making me feel so welcome.

Charissa was very welcoming and friendly and we had some great conversations. She went out of her way to make us comfortable and her breakfasts were wonderful. Her property is quiet and beautiful and it was lovely having Rabbits the kelpie and Witchette the cat there, because we miss our pets so much.

We had a relaxing enjoyable and interesting time at Charissa's place. It is a large holding close to Gaton and Charissa took me for an early morning walk through the priceless natural habitat. She provided a lovely breakfast with home grown and preserved produce.

Dr Charissa proved to be just the type of AirBnB host we love. Very warm and welcoming. Great conversations....first in front of a lovely wood fire until late in the evening and then again next morning. Our room was very clean, warm and comfortable. And she went overboard with breakfast. So good we almost couldn't drag ourselves away.

Dr Charissa is a very busy person, but we felt welcome and enjoyed our 2 night stay with her. It is a country home, we enjoyed the quietness and dark of the nights with cattle in the distance. Lovely big bedroom with such a big comfy bed.

Dr Charissa made me feel at home the second I arrived. I had a late flight and arrived at the accommodation in the dark. Dr Charissa made me the best home-made pumpkin soup and help me settle in. The farm is stunning, with walking trails and animals to observe. Breakfasts are delicious and filling. I couldn't have asked for a better host and venue for my very short stay in Gatton.

Dr Charissa's farm is a lovely 100 acres of harmony between wildlife and her farm animals. The accommodation is basic but the host is very friendly. Dr Charissa is generous in her shared space of food, her kitchen and bathroom. Her conversation with us was appropriate as my daughter is a vet student and keen to learn from a veteran.

Perfect location for me as I was working at the RAAF base. The cottage has everything you could need and was spotlessly clean. The supplied breakfast was ample and included a bottle of amazing local apple juice, yum. The bed was comfy and the linen was great quality with lovely, new soft towels. Zane and Sharon were just lovely, so friendly and accommodating. I would certainly stay there again if the need arises and highly recommended it to anyone looking for tranquillity and privacy.

Sharon & Zane are excellent hosts & made us feel vey welcome. Recommend the bacon & eggs breakfast pack with the wonderful "home grown" eggs & delicious little tomatoes! Lovely to meet little Corby too. Many thanks!

Uncle's Bill's Cabin was a great choice for our few days mountain-biking at Hiddenvale. It was spotless, well equipped and beautifully peaceful. Sharon and Zane were very friendly - being able to do a load of washing was a big help and my husband enjoyed being shown around Zane's man cave.

If we could give more than 5 stars, we would! Sharon and Zane were so accommodating. We arrived late in the evening and it was no problem for them at all. They were very warm and welcoming and let us stay for an amazing sleep in and late check out. The cabin is an amazing space, very well accommodated, perfectly furnished, tidy, clean and cozy. There was nothing that we needed for. And to include a breakfast as well was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. Sharon and Zane, along with Uncle Bill's Cabin certainly deserve all the rave reviews they've received and we're very grateful to them for our stay.

From the time of booking until departure time, Sharon and Zane were there for us to answer our questions and to help in any way, without being the least bit intrusive. Uncle Bill's Cabin was exactly as depicted in the listing. Very private location and every amenity provided to make for a comfortable stay. The cabin was spotless and impeccably decorated and Sharon's home made biscuits added a delightful welcoming touch. The local native birds were frequent visitors and it was a delight to relax and observe them feeding and enjoying the environment. We would thoroughly recommend Uncle Bill's Cabin to any one wanting to 'get away' and enjoy the local countryside. It is relatively close to all amenities but provides a lovely country atmosphere.

We have stayed in quite a few airbnb places, and this was the best yet. The place was immaculately clean, the surroundingd were beautiful, and Zane and Sharon (I suspect Sharon), made that extra effort to provide us with the things we might need, and little luxuries which made us feel very welcome and cared for. (Fantastic home made biscuits) Thank-you so much to Zane and Sharon for making us feel so welcome.
