I would stay at Jamila's again. She is so helpful and responsive. The neighborhood is a bit of a walk from the Medina but taxis are only about 1 euro all over town. (Note: Taxi drivers pick up people along the way. It won't be a private taxi). I chose to have the cleaning service once a week who did laundry, changed sheets & towels and cleaned the space. 10 Euros a week. She is also willing to do grocery shopping and cook tajine but that will be more based on cost. The apartment is ground floor, so while airy, it is a bit darker than if you rented a higher level apartment. I didn't mind.

The stay went very well! The apartment was very well located and close to several shops, clean and well moved in with everything you need. We also appreciated Elias's professionalism, responsiveness, and communication skills!

Had an enjoyable stay at Mohamed's place. Mohamed is a great host. He was very responsive from booking until check-out. He even checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. He was very helpful and extremely flexible with a last minute change in check-out. The place looks exactly as the pictures. Highly recommend :)

Beautiful stay at Said's. Peaceful haven, we were able to fully enjoy the incredible calm offered by the villa without forgetting the beautiful pool If you love animals, it's even better because we really enjoyed feeding them and spending time with them. Very nice house, tastefully decorated and the patio is beautiful. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which is perfect for groups. Youssef, his cook and his gardener/poolman were very pleasant and discreet. Breakfasts were perfect. Finally, the heated pool allowed us to swim easily in April. I highly recommend this beautiful property!

We loved Said's place and extended our stay as soon as we walked inside! Beautiful roof terrace to check Cathedral and the Bay. Hassan (the concierge) was extremely kind and always around to help. We can't wait to come back! Thank you!

The apartment is very tasteful and beautiful, well situated in the medina. Be advised that the seagulls in Essaouira are loud, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

the house is prettier than in the pictures. The house is very large and with a beautiful terrace. The caretaker Larbi and Caz the owner are very available and nice. You can ask Aicha Larbi's sister ( does not speak French) to clean you and eat morning and evening for €20/day ( without the products), a real plus. You can walk down to the beach 15 min but not easy for people with reduced mobility. In the village there are donkeys and goats walking around, it's very nice. The village is not very clean like many in Morocco. Essaouira ( very nice) is 25min drive and Sidi Kouaki 5 min(unclean beaches and lots of people in August). Caz, I think we should put the small options in the rental price for more clarity and simplification( hammam, surfboards... ). I recommend this lovely house if you want calm and a change of scenery!

Amazing place to stay if you are visiting Essaouira to horse ride! It's literally a 4 min walk to a lot of the stables, and in a quiet area. The rooftop and views are incredible! If you want to head to the Medina it's a short taxi ride. They do come up that far but sometimes you have to wait a while. I also walked down there and it's a nice walk. All of the rooms were lovely, would recommend staying here! Cheers!
