“I chose this tour because I was supposed to go to Edinburgh back in May and I wanted to explore all the Harry Potter things while I was there! This was a great alternative for now. I learned a lot about the inspirations behind many characters in the Harry Potter world. The photos David showed were gorgeous and definitely makes me want to take this tour in person someday. David was a great storyteller! The trivia part was fun and I loved the house quiz in the beginning!”

“This IS the place to stay if you’re ever coming to Essaouira! The room we got had amazing ocean view! So calming as you hear the waves crash while in your own home. Apartment was clean and beds were cozy. Kitchen is filled with good amenities so you can do your own cooking. And they do clean your room everyday but you can opt it out. Fouad is easy to communicate and thanks for letting us check out late!! Will def be back to this place if we visit this city again. Thank you!!”

“Les Embruns was an excellent choice for our visit to Essaouira. Yassine bent over backwards to make sure we had all the info necessary for a wonderful stay, recommending restaurants (and making reservations for us); recommending places for our onward journey; booking taxis for the drive to Taghazout (much less expensive than car rental). We realized quickly that when Yassine reserved for us in a restaurant, we were served as though we were regulars - not often the case for tourists! Location of the house was superb: a 5-10 minute stroll to the beach, 2 minutes to the market place and to the fish market , just minutes from the main tourist street, yet in a residential part within the old city walls We took advantage of the offer to have some meals cooked at home for us - a delicious coucous is to be recommended. And it was fun going out to do the shopping for dinner with Sihame, the housekeeper, and her sister, meeting the merchants, and selecting the produce All in all a lovely stay in a magical city - no surprise that most guests at Les Embruns are repeat customers”
