The apartment is super comfortable and the balcony is even better than the photos! The sea view is fantastic. The location is perfect - right on the beach and 100 meters away there is a well-stocked supermarket and around the corner a small bakery and numerous restaurants. The contact with Teresa was also great, she described everything perfectly and was always available. We will come back to Torrenueva next year!

Torrenueva is a nice small town from which you can reach all the typical attractions like Alhambra, Nerja (for Kajaking) and Sierra Nevada within 1h by car. the apartement is really, really clean and the balcony is wonderful with a stunning view at the ocean. Teresa is really helpful and gives you nice tips for eating/activities. we can only recommend :-)

We have spent 12 days in the flat with all the comforts. The apartment is quite spacious and 1 minute from the beach and close to shops and bars.

The site is tremendously peculiar, different. Although it is true that what is less like is that the house of the owner you rent is so close is something that goes unnoticed because you are totally alone, without noise and without anyone to bother you. The house is totally original and absolutely nothing is missing, when I say nothing it is nothing since it has everything you can imagine. After the garden at night is a real past, it seems to be a story and not a house attached to Motril. We will be back in the summer because I have seen what has been seen must be past your pool and its green areas.

Patrick's place is absolutely beautiful. Small, cosy house with such a wonderful garden. The weather unfortunately took a turn for the worse and we were unable to enjoy the garden fully, but we still enjoyed our stay very much! Patrick is a very thoughtful, generous host offering lots of food and wine and cava included in the rental price ! The house is in a great location, with supermarkets and Motril less than 10 minutes away, and the beach is just a short walk. We hope to come back when the sun is out properly to enjoy the pool and garden ! Thank you!

What an amazing experience! Staying at Patrick's place was a wonderful experience but be prepared for quirky (as it says in the listing). The cottage is on three/four slightly separate floors (I think!). The bedroom has a separate door and is spacious with a small bathroom attached. There is no fixed door to the bathroom but a screen to pull into place. to get to the living room and kitchen you have to go outside the property and back in again (nearest entrance is up a slight slope to the living room). From the living room you can go up steps to the large roof terrace (beautiful for breakfast) or down a steep spiral staircase to the well equipped kitchen. This property is not ideally suitable for those with mobility problems. All rooms are comfortable and well equipped and the view from each traditional shuttered windows is beautiful. Patrick is a lovely gentleman and one of the best hosts I've ever met. Don't be worried about privacy from him, he completely requests your need for privacy or alternatively if you invite him, company. When we arrived he showed us round and we had a beer with him on the last night. Patrick has created a tropical paradise in his own garden. The garden is incredible. It's like the Palm House in Kew Gardens, London but with no glass cover!! Paths snake between olive trees, avocado trees, lime trees and dozens and dozens of exotic lush large plants. The pool at the bottom of the long garden is clean and private. The whole place is so quiet. My husband and I had the best nights sleep there ever! I've been on lots of Airbnb holidays in many countries but this one has the best garden by a long shot. First thing each morning and last thing at night (it's especially magical) my husband and I went for a wander round the garden admiring and spotting the incredible planting and diverse plants (spotted the bananas on the last day). I ate a mango I had picked and squeezed limes fresh from the tree. You need a car but are in hitting distance of Motril for shopping, the coast, mountains and Granada. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place if you want a quirky experience but are unphased by dogs (adorable and well behaved but gorgous Hector likes to accompany you where ever you go). Also, the whole place has a ramshackle air about it, with weather worn furniture and interesting bits and bobs (statues etc) everywhere. Paul and I loved it. I write this because if you are expecting a clinical spotless place and garden this is definitely not for you (Hector's mission is to get into the cottage with you but he can be shut out if you are quick!). Be prepared to relax, chill out and not be irritated by the odd light bulb not working etc you will have a memorable and magical experience hosted by a friendly and interesting host. It was a pleasure to meet you Patrick - what you have created is inspirational. Thank you for sharing it with us. This is why I love Airbnb. PS the cacti on the roof terrace look in need of water!

Our stay at La Casita Azul was great. Michele is all kindness and hospitality, and he made everything very easy. The little house is a little far from the town, and that makes it a very quiet place ideal to disconnect. In addition, it has everything you need for a perfect stay, including a terrace with hammocks great for dinner and breakfast. In short, highly recommended for a few days of relaxation.

Possibly the cleanest and most spacious apartment we've found during our Andalusia trip. Very quiet location, if that's what you're after. Clean beaches and all shops / cafes nearby. If you need the bigger city Motril is just round the corner and Malaga / Granada under an hour drive's away. If I'm ever back in the area, will try to book again!

You will get a million dollar view and sunset night after night, the beach and fantastic food and drink are at your doorstep. Location location location! We loved being right on the beach front and listening to the water. The apartment was spacious, perfectly clean and very comfortable. Many options to eat are steps away. Any questions we had, Pedro answered right away and was very helpful. The only challenge was parking on summer weekend days was very hard to find - weekday parking on the street was very easy.

This is a great little spot! Very compact accommodation, 3 bedrooms brilliant for a budget. The town itself seemed really friendly, with a busy bar in the plaza, the house situated with good views from the terrace. And the walk from Gualchos to the little beach at Rijana is fantastic, lots of wildlife and beauty. Paco was great at communicating and making things run smoothly and his mother across the street is very welcoming and generous , and gave me some of the best oranges and mandarins I’ve ever tasted! This is a great place to stay in the lovely town of Gualchos! It's just a short ride to the beach and Sierra Nevada is also closeby. The house has three bedrooms and a wonderful terrace with a great view at the sea! It's an old house and during the first weeks of my stay some things would fail but Paco and his mother would make sure that things get fixed immediatly :) Thank you for the great hospitality! I enjoyed my stay very much and recommend the place to everyone who wants to visit sunny Andalucia!

Gualchos is a very interesting little town with Danish and English residents included in native mix. There are public wells which provide clean and pure drinking water. The people are very friendly and we felt very welcome. Plenty of good walking tracks are available locally. The house itself is great. Very comfortable with everything you need. A wonderful balcony at the edge of town afforded exceptional views of the hills and the sea. Paco was a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful (thanks for all the cucumbers, Paco!). We had quite a bit to do with Paco's mother, Rosario, and she is an absolute gem. We will miss her in our daily lives. Altogether, an unforgettable four week holiday.

I rented a car and stayed for a day It was golf cc resort side, but room for price is good. It's a bit far from the city so if you have a car, I recommend it!

Apartment according to the photos, nicely decorated and well appointed, it was large, we had room! We were there in winter and it was a little chilly because there was no heating, only a little extra for the whole apartment. The city of Torrenueva is uninteresting in winter but a good starting point for many walks in the area, including nerja, pomegranate ... Thank you to Irene and Azahara for their warm welcome, it was very pleasant! We would definitely recommend!

A beautiful house, which does not lack any details to make the stay as if you were in your own house. Details even for our dog (ball, bed, bowls ...) Listen to the sea from the bed and see it from the terrace, one pass !! Azahara was super friendly since we arrived. We will repeat for sure !!

Luxury accommodation and hosts.

The best thing about the apartment is the living room with those incredible views. When you lie on the couch it looks like you're on a cruise, with the sea so close, it's impressive. The flat is cozy and quiet, there are also bars and shops nearby for a drink, and with the beach just next door. It has been a very pleasant stay and we will repeat without a doubt.

Everything in our stay at Estefanía's flat was amazing. The flat was very clean and accurately described. The beds were comfortable and the best thing was the incredible sea view from the balcony and living room. The beach was beautiful and quite as well as the town. Estefanía was a great host, she didn't mind about checking in late and even allowed us to check out late. She was very kind since the beginning and gave us good recommendations for places to visit nearby. Our days were grate there and definitely will come back!

Estefania is a very kind and pleasant person. She responds instantly to your smallest wishes and needs, fortunately in good English. Otherwise she leaves you in peace and does not bother you.

Super apartment. We were in Family the last week of October and we took advantage of the terrace and the beach (a few steps from the accommodation). Good location to visit Granada, Malaga, Las Alpujarras, Almeria).

This place is something else. Patrik created a unique and fantastic garden oasis around his house. The appt. itself is cosy and has everything you need. There are some common areas where you might find Patrick, his dogs or other tenants (there is one more appt. on the property) but if you search for privacy you also get your own private area like a large roof top garden. Patrik was a great host and checkin was hassle free. It was a very pleasant stay :)

Even though our stay was short, we really enjoyed our time in this Patricks small oasis. The gardens where really nice both during the day and night, and provided a certain coolness and airiness to the flat that was great! But make sure to have some mosquito repellent with you to fully enjoy your stay. Patrick was a lovely host, and we really felt welcome. Patricks dogs were a bonus for us, we enjoyed Hectors company who liked to sit with us in the gardens. The location is a bit isolated, in that you need a cat to reach it easily. But it was only a short drive to our preferred beaches.

If you are looking for a little piece of heaven - take this place! Its so beautiful and lovely and all these little details when you walk around in the garden- you want to find something you did not recognize before every day. The house was set up with love and you can feel that! Even though its not in the first row to the beach, i would pick it again for sure! Beach and Port is so easy and fast to reach! We travel as a family and have spent some fantastic days in Isabel's apartment, who has taken great care of us and quickly solved any problems we have had. Thanks Isabel !!! We know the area quite well so we have not needed local information, yet Isabel kindly puts it at our disposal. The location of the apartment is unbeatable, quiet and a few minutes from the beach, with supermarkets and pharmacy nearby, as well as enough restaurants. It also has two community pools and a large garage. Until next time!

We have totally enjoyed our stay. The location was great for our interests, very well connected by road, wide parking space ... and also possibility to go on foot through the area taking a nice walk. Very close walking from a large beach with all services, and more beaches a few minutes by car. There are a lot of places to visit in the area, some more tourist than others. The apartment was as shown in the photos. For us very practical. The water heater was regulín, but we have already notified Isabel, who was already managing it when we left. The communication has been fluid. Isabel is very communicative and pleasant and has provided us with a lot of information about activities of our interest. I recommend this accommodation and your hostess :)

Isabel has been very kind to us, fast communication and always attentive. The apartment is very well connected. Very close beach and access to other points of interest pretty good, also has a garage. 100% recommendable.

Juan is a very attentive person, he welcomed us and facilitated our stay, he informed us of everything to see and visit. In addition, it has had details such as leaving us fruit, water and a snack. The location of the apartment, with large gardens, surrounded by grass, tennis court and paddle where I enjoy a lot with my children and the best beach at 2m walk. The flat very clean, comfortable and cozy and something that I really appreciated the mattresses are very good. Including a large terrace. We will return without hesitation.
