Sheila’s place was great for our stay, easy to find and a lovely room. We had a wedding at the Hockley Valley resort just 10 mins up the road and this Airbnb was a perfect alternative to an expensive hotel. We had a seamless time. No lock to the private room for when you leave- maybe there was and we just didn’t ask. Otherwise great value and post is true to its photos/details.

Super clean, Sheila was quick to respond to all of our messages and questions! Room was exactly was we needed for our overnight stay, would highly recommend!

We had in incredible stay at Sheila’s beautiful home. She was very flexible and accommodated our check in early and check out late. She and her family are very kind and welcoming as well. Sheila went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. She encouraged us to go skiing and let us borrow her winter gear, which we really appreciated. On the last day of our stay, she made us a delicious breakfast too. We had a pleasure getting to know her, Whitney, Buddy and Lily, and we can’t wait to return. Thank you for everything Sheila!

A very clean and private place. Sheila was very responsive and cared for us a lot. Welcoming home and Sheila allowed us to use the common spaces. She also made us chocolate, cranberry, coconut muffins which were the best muffins I have had till date.

Cheri and Kevin were both amazing. Super welcoming and made us feel at home. The location is pretty central, was able to drive up to Blue Mountain the following day. The hot tub was incredible as well. Will definitely be back.

Cheri and Kevin, and their Loft, is everything its cracked up to be. They are generous and their space and hospitality lavish. Clean, stylin’ and full of wee perks. No complaints AT ALL. I cant even suggest anything to make it better! The hot tub was glorious in the snow, and the bed comfy. So nice to have our own ensuite bathroom.

Lovely spot, tastefully decorated and the room wiht the en-suite and walk-out to the hot tub is wonderful. My husband and I went there for Valentine's week-end and it was perfect !! Also walking distance from a number of great restaurants and pubs in Shelburne. Would not hestitate to reccommend.

Cozy comfortable room with a big ensuite bathroom attached. The bed is super comfortable and the hot tub right outside the door was the main event for us. Cheri and Kevin are super friendly and welcoming. You will enjoy your stay here for sure!

The loft is such a great space. Cheri and Kevin are so inviting, you feel like you are visiting family. The hot tub directly outside of the bedroom and the attached en suite feel private, yet you have all of the amenities of a full home if you need them. The cafe downstairs is super convenient if you are there on a school day! We were skiing at Mansfield Ski Club (great hills) and will definitely stay here again when we return.

Had a lovely stay in Shelburne, and Cheri made it even more delightful. She gave me space when I wanted it, but also warmly welcomed me in her home. As far as shared accommodations go, this was fantastic.

Kim's place was the perfect getaway for our family. The cottage has everything you need and the bed is so comfortable! We played cards, jacks and watched Netflix in a charming and comfortable setting. Kim was communicative and the space very welcoming with water, yogurt, coffee, cookies and more. I would not hesitate to recommend this place. The cottage is also situated very close to Hockley Valley for skiing in the area. I also recommend Angel's Diner for food and then hitting up Bulk Barn for late night snacks. Thanks again Kim and Family :)

Kim's place was absolutely incredible! We only stayed for one night, but it is by far one of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed at across 4 countries. She personalized the home by writing a welcome to us on the board, and even had little chocolates for us. She also had a little breakfast ready! Everything was incredibly clean and cute. I would come back in a heartbeat!

I can't say enough about the crooked cottage!we absolutely loved our stay. It was cozy and beautiful at the same time. Kim goes above and beyond with extra touches that anyone is sure to appreciate. The place is quiet and so comfortable and covered in beautiful art! 5 stars for sure!

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights in November. I was a little unsure since it’s literally a cabin in the woods with no running water, but honestly it was great! David was so kind in bringing us an extra heater, heated blanket and mattress topper without us having to ask. It’s a cute little place and a safe haven to escape to when life seems like a little too much to deal with. Excited to stay here again sometime :)

Fantastic stay at this beautiful cabin! Great getaway from the city. Heated blankets were a great touch. Bring own water and flashlights. Wifi connects but is unusably slow - hope you're not here to be on wifi anyways ;) Thanks for the stay, will be back!!

Cute, clean, and peaceful cabins! We stayed in bunkies 3 and 1 and both were lovely. Comfy bedding with lots of warm blankets, and heaters that could easily handle the cool October evenings. David made us feel welcome when we arrived and then left us to our unwinding. Bring $10 cash for firewood and be sure to check out the cute antique shops and bakeries in nearby Erin.

Beautiful Atmosphere, calming and peaceful ambiance both inside the cabin, and the river in the back yard. Amazing place to go to reconnect with yourself and your loved one.

The cutest cabin you’ll ever stay at!! Such an amazing little space situated on a stunningly picturesque stream. Waking up to the sounds of beauty of the stream out the front door was second to none. You’ll have a great little kitchen, full wifi and Netflix for after a beautiful hike through the trails of lovely Belfountain. I can’t wait to come back!

Great weekend getaway, far enough away, but close enough to home. We loved the peacefulness of the cabin, and the hosts were fantastic! We loved the quiet winter cabin, but would definitely like to go back in nicer weather to enjoy the outdoor seating! It was so great that we could bring our dog, too! He loved the river and trails!

This is a homely, well appointed cabin, set beside the Credit River. Inside there is electric thermostatic heating, and many useful items provided, along with antiques to recall some local history. It makes an excellent base for hiking the many woodland trails in the vicinity.

We had a lovely little mini-vacation here! Close to Toronto, and yet it really felt like we got away. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. We came prepared with foods we could reheat in the kitchenette, and for one of our meals we visited a local restaurant (included in the cabin is a booklet of information with all kinds of great tips about places to visit, as well as local history). Not only are the surrounding conservation areas beautiful and great to visit, but the property itself has some really lovely trails, complete with lots of seating areas along the river and in the forest so you can just sit and enjoy. :) Winter was a beautiful season to visit, and I bet other seasons are just as lovely in totally different ways. We'll have to come back!

This little cabin is a perfect retreat. Great trails, great amenities, great location. It’s a must for a romantic getaway, a fishing trip or even some time away with a friend. There is something for everyone here.

Susan was a great communicator! Anytime we had a query, she was right back to us within minutes. She was very understanding when all of the highways were shut down and we were unable to make it for the first night of our trip. The room was very comfortable for the four of us. And, if we had remembered our bathing suits, we would have really enjoyed that hot tub. This retreat was exactly as advertised. Well done, Susan!

Susan's place was a perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I. We drove in during a snow storm and she had the fireplace going for us when we arrived. The hot tub is literally right outside of the front door, there was a thoughtful selection for breakfast items, and the overall atmosphere of the space was private and modern. I would 100% recommendthis space to my friends and family!

The guest house is a fantastic space for couples or single guests looking for a place to stay in Orangeville. The apartment is private, located above a garage behind a main house. The space is beautiful and has everything you need for a short or long stay. It is walking distance from downtown Orangeville and all of the great restaurants and bars in the area. Andrew and Amee were responsive and easy to communicate with and offered to help with any of our questions. I highly recommend this apartment and Andrew and Amee when looking for a place to stay!

We had a pleasant stay in the bunkie. We had a nice view from on top of the hill and had everything we needed to be comfortable. A very short jaunt over to Erin, where we found some nice restaurants and the Forks of the Credit provincial park for some hiking.

Eric and Diana’s place is amazing, and they’re the most wonderful and welcoming hosts. They were so helpful in telling us about the area, and Eric in booking a dinner reservation for us, helping me with my car, making us an amazing breakfast and coffee every morning—all of it. Highly recommend this place. It’s cozy, great for hiking, and the hot tub is unreal. Truly the best getaway.

Great place to spend a weekend away from the city. The hosts are very helpful with tips for nearby hiking etc. The space is really pretty and they make a mean breakfast. I would 100% recommend a visit to this relaxing lodge.

The communication was very accurate, the bedroom was very comfortable and there was an ease to the whole experience as Diana and Eric are great hosts and interesting people. What can’t be overstated is the beautiful location and surrounding forest. My evening walk to the top of the valley to watch the sunset and subsequent return in the twilight was a highlight. Very happy with our stay ! We got a lot of snow and it wasn't too cold so we could enjoy the outdoors for hours and hours. This included a lovely 2 hours hike in the forest, making a snowman & hot tub experience in the snow ! Also Diana and Eric were so nice and made our stay very comfortable ! It was nice to meet them and we hope to see them again !

From the moment we booked Diana was so responsive and very informative which made me very excited for the weekend (one night) escape from the city. The weather ensured that we stay put and Diana welcomed us into her space. The photos don’t do the space justice. It’s filled with plants and instruments, and the coziness is perfection a little getaway. We used her kitchen to make dinner and it was great to have all the tools we needed in one space. Diana let us have the other room we didn’t book because it had a larger bed which was very nice. It looked out to the snowy trail and the hot-tub we did not get to use because of the freezing rain, next time for sure ☺️ In the morning Diana had set out fresh fruit and yogurt. We didn’t have breakfast (eggs and bacon) it was included because we wanted to go to Pete’s Deli for bagels and donuts and get a hike in at the Mono Cliffs which we did because the weather was so much better. I would stay here again, Diana was very hospitable!

This is an amazing place, if you are lucky enough to stay here you will see why, two minute walk from town. Breakfast self serve is the best we ever had in a air bnb. Sparkling clean, laundry, two bed rooms. This one is for Doug. My wife and I did not LIKE the mattress. We LOVED it. They are so comfortable we slept right through better than home, and they have a very young baby and we never heard a boo. thank you guys ever so much for being with air bnb We will book again next time in town

I had a great stay here! Wonderful location just a minute drive from downtown and a short 5 minute walk. Everything you need is in the area and can explore the cool and historic stores and great places to eat on Broadway Street. The apartment has everything you need and very comfortable beds as well. If I'm ever back in Orangeville for a few nights i know where I'm staying!!

I car camped on Wes and Pam's property over theThanksgiving weekend.. Their property is rural, on a dirt road, quaintly surrounded by pine trees and farm fields.. It was the perfect spot to tuck away my Jeep for the night while in town hiking the Bruce Trail.. Access to amenities in Shelburne were within 10-15 min drive away.. A clean, compostable toilet and shower were also available for use. Wes and Pam were hospitable, friendly hosts and it was a real pleasure chatting with them. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

We parked our RV here for a couple of nights and had a fantastic stay. Wesley and Pam were so friendly and welcoming! They reminded us why we love to travel. If you’re looking for a great place, don’t pass them up!

Wesley and Pam were great hosts! We arrived late, and they stayed up to greet us. The next morning we were invited in for coffee. Lots of space for camping behind their home! 2 bbq’s on property, clean outhouse, and a picnic table. Wonderful view as well! Will stay again.

We stayed at the bunkie on a cold winter night in December. The bunkie was just as shown, small and cozy, sequestered from the noise of everyday life. We managed to stay warm even though the temperatures dipped quite low. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfortable bed and the wonderful heated blankets which were quite a nice touch. This bunkie is highly recommended and we would love to come back.

I brought my 11 year old and we spent two cozy nights at the cabin, playing in the snow, relaxing, talking, and exploring the lovely little town of Erin. A great way to spend unplugged time, we loved it.

We booked our stay because we wanted to see how comfortable a bunkie could be. We plan to purchase one. It’s really cozy and felt much “bigger” than I expected. I love the location, it felt like a get away even though we were an hour from home. Thanks again!

David was amazing, he accepted us last minute and was really nice and helpful. We wanted to go camping but since the weather was too cold the bunkie was a perfect city get away. I’m so glad he shared this hidden gem us, we would 100% come back and recommend the bunkie to anyone!

The Bed & Breakfast was sparkling clean, the hosts were very nice and were very accommodating with check in and out times. I had an early hockey game and they made an amazing breakfast on the go for us that was very much appreciated! Would definitely recommend!

We spent the night here after a day of skiing at Hockley (about a 5 min drive away) and it was nice! The room is not big but very cozy and clean, and the breakfast bar/kitchen has many nice touches. Bill was very friendly and helpful as well.

Bill even invited us to Thanksgiving dinner with his family which was wonderful and such a lovely experience to share. On the 9 is a place to stay with character and heart, both inside and out on the expansive and charming grounds.

On the 9 is a RETREAT! Loved every minute of it. The home and property are breath taking, host is warm and friendly, and the surrounding countryside and towns are a treat all their own!

A second timer ... and again, a real peaceful "mellow vibe" ... as we used to say back in the summer of '69 :)

A quiet and beautiful haven in winter wonderland, Diana's log home is a true gem. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the stars in the hot tub at night, hiking snowy Bruce Trail, the warm and quirky interior design, delicious breakfasts and Diana & family's kind care. A gem! The rustic cabin has comfy beds, a hot-tub that can't be missed, and local trails for hiking. A light breakfast of cereal and fruit was provided. My friend and I really enjoyed our weekend getaway here.

Great spot, well maintained and thoughtful hosts!

Great place for a nice relaxing weekend getaway. You're still close to civilization with the feeling of being in the country! Vince and Miranda were great hosts. We had everything we needed and more. Thank you guys for letting us use your place and we will definitely be returning for future events.

Miranda and Vince are incredible hosts! They are thoughtful and caring and always take time to ensure that their guests are well looked after. On this visit Vince prepared the sauna for us! It was freezing out and yet he took the time to do this. This added touch, combined with their respect for their guest’s privacy, is the reason why we continue to book with them. The property is beautiful and romantic. The amenities offered, along with the natural beauty around the place, make this a perfect getaway! Thank you again!

This is a nice place. It’s a very, very nice place. We enjoyed many of the things that Miranda & Vince recommended, including watching scenery from the very giant windows, snowshoeing around the property, warming up in the sauna and rolling around in the snow when it was -14°C (seriously! super fun), and relaxing by the fireplace. All of our needs were taken care of, we appreciated the hosts’ hospitality.

Great winter getaway! A cozy, super clean, stylish space with awesome views and only a short drive from the city. We loved walking down the country roads and warming up afterward with a woodstove fire. The suite had everything we could want, including a very comfy bed. Miranda and Vince were super helpful and quick to respond. We'd love to return. Thanks, guys!

The studio is a perfect weekend escape. Close enough to the city to be an easy drive, but quiet and peaceful. The space is absolutely spotless and filled with all sorts of nice touches, from (amazingly effective!) fire starters to a welcome note and some chocolates. I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a quiet evening spent reading by the fire!

Great place to stay!!

Jason’s place is a hidden gem, warm and inviting. The place itself is clean and fully stocked. Big TVs, a comfy couch, and big bed. The is a smaller kitchen set up (like a hotel suite). If you need anything more substantive you just need to walk next door. Situated a few doors down (like 10 feet!) is a bakery and bistro unparalleled by any other. In the day you will be overwhelmed by homemade baking and satiated by dinner. There is often great live music, but if you are not into that you won’t hear a peep from the apartment. Mostly, the hosts are great people, into you enjoying the space and area. They are warm, talented and funny folks that are very responsive. Come to this place to hide away in the winter or as a homebase for taking in the surrounding area in the summer.

Rose is wonderfully easy to reach and communicate with. Check-in was effortless and she made sure the outside lights were on for our arrival as we were going to be late. The apartment is spotless and well furnished. It was so nice to have a place to rest after such a long day, and the bedroom was really comfortable. Rose has taken immense care to provide all basic amenities you could require, better than a hotel, and has added many extra little touches to make your stay welcoming and relaxing. It is easy to see why she is a Superhost, and how she takes great pride in hosting you.

Stevens place was great! We were in town for a ski trip and the location was a short drive from the hills. The place was spacious with all the necessary amenities for a short getaway.

Great spot in a wonderful neighbourhood. Near all the things you need and the house is set up perfectly for a family to use. We loved stretching out and not stuck in a hotel room while we played hockey nearby.

This place is perfectly located near the community recreation centre and made for easy access to our gymnastics meet over the weekend. The host was very responsive and house was clean and well appointed. Would recommend as a great place for families in town for events at community centre as an easy getaway and break from hotel scene!

Wendy's place is perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. The place was sparkling clean and everything one might need was there on site. We especially loved the wood stove which we had on all evening. Wendy herself was very nice and messaged us ahead of time to tell us the road conditions were really bad due to a snow storm and sais she would understand if we cancelled the first night, which we ended up doing just to be safe. I would highly recommend her place for a weekend getaway from the city!

Perfect location for a quiet weekend!

We just enjoyed a holiday at Wendy’s apartment and it was the perfect place for our family getaway. The place was spotless and there was lots of light into the unit from all the windows, showcasing the beautiful yard, forest and brook behind. We were close to the nearby ski hill and Wendy had a great binder with tips about the area that we used. Would visit again for sure!

Rent this yurt! Countless hiking trails within a 15 minute drive, and many other small town features close-by, this yurt is perfect for families, couples, and small groups. There isn't an electrical connection available inside the yurt, so you'll need to bring back-up battery powerbanks to recharge your phones, or simply leave them in the owner's house overnight. Overall, this was a fantastic weekend getaway, and we look forward to returning here in the near future! <3 Thanks Ellen!

The yurt was fantastic, easy to keep warm and very comfy. Ellen was a great host who offered lots of tips for things to do in the area, and supplied tons of fire wood to keep us very warm and cozy! Will definitely be returning!

A great get away! Was glad we brought extra lamps for lighting as it is quite dark. Beds were ok for a 2 night stay. The hot tub is amazing! There is lots of information about the trails that are near by. WE loved this stay and plan on returning!

We want to thank Ellen and Joey for the amazing hospitality while we stayed at their yurt. We were so cozy and it was the perfect getaway with our dog! Communication before arrival was excellent and check in was easy with a tour of the property and instructions for working the wood stove. Helpful tips for packing: extra kindling from your recycling would be helpful as we went in the winter and had the fire going continuously. Extra lanterns: they provided about 5 but we would have liked a few more. Bring board games! Our favourite moments when we were UNPLUGGED and enjoying each others company. There were plenty of blankets so we were happy we didn’t pack extra. We explored a lot around the property and went to the Bruce trail which was very close! We heated our food on the wood stove so it would be helpful if you precooked you’re food and heated it up when ready to eat! You will not regret escaping to this spiritual yurt, we hope to visit again soon!

Ellen and Joey are amazing hosts who have built the yurt on their property with lots of love. My partner and I arrived earlier than anticipated, and Ellen greeted us with a smile while Joey had already begun warming up our yurt. The entire property itself is stunning and secluded, providing the perfect serene scenery with an abundance of trails and a hot tub nearby to unwind. The property is also a short drive away from the beautiful provincial park, where there are many more trails to enjoy. The yurt has all the amenities for a comfortable stay, including firewood, some lanterns and flashlights, and the necessities for cooking on the fireplace. This lovely place is just over an hour outside of Toronto in the winter, making it the cherry on top of a perfect winter getaway. Thank you, Joey and Ellen!

The yurt was beautiful, exactly as described. We were there during an ice storm but the yurt was very cozy and comfortable. There was a composting toilet attached as well for convenience. We will definately visit again.

Anita's place is an absolute gem! It's the perfect place to come and visit the country. Our dog loved running outside in the surrounding forest and curling up by the fire in the evening. By far my favourite Airbnb experience to date. Anitas place is incredible with so many thoughtful touches and great decor. Amenities were over and above our expectations, super comfortable beds and cozy linens. Loved the pool table and darts in the basement. The best part is the location , so quiet and secluded surrounded by nature but close enough to everything you would need. Anita is a great host. She ensured that we were well taken care of and knew our way around the house. She is prompt and friendly. The Stone Heron is well appointed, with beautiful furnishings and a stunning view. The house is clean and fully equipped with a washer and dryer. Anita is also kind enough to have a fully stocked kitchen and fridge with everything you might need - you don't really need to bring your own food, she has more than enough to accommodate a family of 3 and a dog!
