Guesthouse vacation rentals in Ruapehu District

Tracey’s place was so close to Tongariro NP that we could come back to eat lunch then head back up to the park to continue hikes. It also had a convenient store and gas station nearby too.

The place was very comfortable and peaceful. I loved that I could see Lake Taupō from the house and watch beautiful sunsets in the evening. The host was very friendly and helpful, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Jenny and Johnny very friendly. Fabulous breakfast selection cereal, fruit ,toast any eggs. A plate of muffins and scones. Beautiful views down the valley. Top spot will stay again.

Lovely, cozy and private place. Much more spacious than in photos. Had everything we needed and felt right at home. Our's was a foggy day but still very beautiful surroundings. Thanks for hosting us Lucy :)

We had a wonderful stay an Jannel‘s tiny house. It was perfect to explore the Tongariro national park - just a 30 min to 1h ride to the most important hikes in the park. The proximity to Ohakune was great to quickly get some groceries and take aways. The restaurants were nice! Still, the location of the tiny house 15 min out of town was great to relax and watch stunning sunrises. Jannel and her family were very welcoming and friendly.

Exceptional views, great amenities with outdoor deck areas. Darren was very friendly, helpful & gave us some useful tips.

Beautiful, quiet accommodation - small but had everything required for a lovely stay. Ideal spot - lots to do eg; biking, hiking etc

The view of lake Taupo from Jade’s place was amazing! It was very peaceful, we loved sitting on the deck in the evening looking at the lake enjoying a glass of wine! The suite is very spacious which was nice. It was a great spot to stay and enjoy Taupo( a 5 min drive to the town and lakefront) and to do day trips to Rotorua.

Nikki’s place was a peaceful retreat. Very quiet and lovely surroundings. We liked the closeness to the river walk. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We’d stay again, for sure.

Brilliant host. Was a very late check in and Elizabeth arranged everything to go smoothly when we arrived. Very clear instructions and the view was breathtaking. An amazing place with an amazing host.
