Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Rovaniemi

Sanna was a super nice host, and reacted very fast when we needed something. The Appartement had everything we needed. We spend a lot of time in the whirlpool, we were even so lucky to see aurora from the jacuzzi one night.

We've been lucky enough to have a lot of great Air BnB experiences, but Saija's place has to be the best. The decor and lighting is so cozy and welcoming. And I cannot express the lengths she has gone to to ensure it has everything you need, even down to spare toothbrushes. All instructions were clear, and comprehensive, and for anything else, Saija was very quick to respond with the answer. The location is ideal, in between Rovaniemi centre and Santa Claus Village. And within walking distance to Ounasvaara, which is so beautiful. We brought the sleds from the apartment for the kids, and that was one of the highlights of their trip! Overall, a really great place to stay that we'll have fond memories of forever. Would highly recommend.

Pasi is a very responsive and friendly host. The house is typical and at the same time very pleasant with all the necessary comforts, the bedding is of good quality and there is everything you need in the house and nearby. We recommend and thank Pasi for our stay.

Grandmother's house 🥰❤️ That is the feeling I had since stepping in and loved it. It felt very cosy and warm, old furniture but had everything we needed. Great location, I honestly felt sad to leave the place. Hoping to go back again next winter. Great garden for the kids to play in with swings and beautiful sauna. Fireplace was lovely and host very friendly. Unfortunately igloo wasn't up because of the snow level but that is mother nature and it reflects in no way on the host. Also lovely woods and lake close by, we enjoyed sledging the girls there, it takes 5 min. Thanks for everything

the accommodation was perfect, there were seven of us including two small girls and we had no problems of any kind. The house was very well-kept and clean, the spaces were large and comfortable, the location was perfect. Having rented a van we always moved around easily, we could reach the city in 5 minutes, the view was wonderful and the large windows allowed you to admire it even from inside the house. The large garden allowed the girls to have fun in the snow whenever they wanted, a few steps away there is also a playground. The house is a 10 minute drive from three perfect areas to go and see the aurora, the most convenient is perhaps Olkkajärvi Rest Stop, however if the sky is clear you can also admire it from the garden of the house. We couldn't have hoped for better!

We had a magical stay at Villa Hanhi, so much so we did not want to leave. Everything was perfect, the interior was warm and cosy. My eight year old daughter loved the sleds provided and the walking trails. The location is great and feels remote yet less than 10 minute drive has you in the middle of everything. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This house exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful and spacious it was—better than the photos could ever capture. The décor was tasteful, the amenities were top-notch, and everything was immaculately clean. The location was perfect—peaceful yet convenient for exploring the area. Maria thought of every detail, from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy touches like blankets and candles for relaxing evenings. Maria was the most helpful and knowledgeable host. Whenever we had questions, she responded quickly and with such warmth and care. It’s clear that she genuinely loves hosting and making her guests feel welcome. We truly felt at home and didn’t want to leave. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay.

The cabin was actually much better than we originally anticipated. It was lovely, surely retro and rustic but very charming and much bigger than the photos suggested. Many features had been clearly updated vs the photos. I would definitely stay here again. View to Pyhätunturi from the backyard deck was spectacular, and if you do cross country skiing there’s easy access to the tracks. You need however a car to access the skiing slopes (very short ride).

Loved our stay at Reijo's place. His neighbour Ella was available to help and showed us round, really helpful. We were 10 - 15 minutes from all the main attractions, so we're perfectly located. Reijo's place had everything you could ever need, which made it really easy! Even had loads of sledges for the kids which they loved! Couldn't believe how lucky we were to have the most magical stay here. highly recommend!

We loved our stay with Pierre and Maria . The house, an old school that they have been able to restore while keeping its soul, is in a beautiful place in the middle of nature, we even had the chance to observe an aurora borealis . Many activities proposed by Pierre and Maria ( cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, swimming ...).Pierre and Maria were at the care with us. We had the chance to share a traditional meal that was delicious. They are very attentive hosts with whom we had very interesting discussions and had a great time.

We felt very comfortable. The house is comfortably and cozily furnished. The fantastically located and equipped sauna house is shared with the owners, which is absolutely no problem. The whole property is well maintained and is beautifully located on a large lake. The view over the lake with northern lights is unforgettable. Exceptionally friendly landlords who go the extra mile. Jukka gave us very good tips for the area. We will be happy to come back.

I love this place! Irma was so kind to me. Also, as someone who captures a lot of adventures with my phone and camera, I’m really grateful for the super-fast internet, it allowed me to upload my pictures to the cloud every day. The home is beautiful, and I’ll definitely choose it again

Enjoyed our stay with our 2 young children who absolutely loved the apartment, especially the climbing wall and rings in their room. A lovely relaxing place to come back to after a busy day in the Santa Park and Santa Claus Village. The scenery and surrounding lake was stunning, especially in the snow. Anna was great host always on hand to answer any questions on the run up to our stay and during. Anna gave lots of practical advice and really helped us arrange our time and travel arrangements well. I really couldn’t recommend her enough. Thank you Anna!

the house has everything you need and we really felt like home. Very nice interior and perfect kitchen. Everything very clean and of high quality. We saw twice polar lights on the terrace, so what do you need more for a perfect stay? Highly recommended !!

We enjoyed our stay, and there was everything we could expect from a cabin experience. We loved the sauna and the chance to have a dip in the lake. There was almost everything we needed, except for the vine bottle opener, which the owner kindly offered to bring it to us almost straight away. Beautiful cabin by the lake we can definitely recommend!

Beautiful place to stay! Very comfortable beds and the sauna was great to use every night! Sledding in the front was also a huge highlight!

We had a nice stay in this log home in the forest, clean and spacious. We loved the sauna!

Extremely cozy accommodation at the end of an atmospheric cellar house. We found everything we needed in a place to stay, including cooking. Thanks, Jussa! Lots of cottages nearby, but the area is still very peaceful. Sacred services within walking distance. National park trails also leave nearby. A big recommendation for bigcock if weather conditions allow.

The two hosts are extremely nice and make you feel at home. The cottage is equipped with everything you might need. The sauna is an extraordinary plus, equipped with everything. The place is enchanting, in absolute peace, with a breathtaking view perfect for watching the dawn.

We had a great time, went there as a family. It is such a beautiful location during winter time, we saw the Northern lights and our son loved it as well! (Bob sleigh, ice fishing in front of the house) You have to be able to live with an outside toilet and no running/warm water (no shower except lake water that can be warmed up on a wooden stove in the outside sauna) though…if you can, then it is an unforgettable experience :) Thanks for a great time Hanne!

We enjoyed our stay. The location is beautiful, so peaceful and you can do cross country skiing just outside. We enjoyed the open fireplace and sauna.

Teemu and Tanja’s cabin is absolutely magical. Everything you need is there: a fireplace, beautiful view, enough equipment to catch your own food or just to make something easy at home. With the traditional sauna on your own premisses it could not be more relaxed. A private tour on the snowmobile with Tanja and het brother Terro to see the area, go ice fishing and search for wildlife was incredible. They are the most friendly people and make you feel welcome. We coudnt have a better honeymoon. Thank you!
