Our self contained annex sits in a Peaceful & Rural location with stunning countryside views of the bluebell woodlands beyond. Located only 3 miles from the historic town of Henley on Thames and within view of the beautiful National Trust’s Grey’s Court, we are ideally located to explore the local area whilst remaining secluded away from the hustle and bustle . Walkers & bikers are spoilt for choice with footpaths leading from the garden including one that leads to a wonderful local pub.

The Cabin, Henley on Thames is a gorgeous space for you to enjoy your holiday. Surrounded by nature, guests have the pleasure of pheasants, deers, foxes and Red Kites. Located in the back garden of our house you can walk straight into fields and the beautiful Chiltern hills. Its only a 5 minute drive/ 15 minute walk from the centre of the historic town of Henley on Thames. Newly built it features underfloor heating, and brand new designer fittings. Access via woodland path or garden stairs.

A first floor Georgian flat with 2 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a sofa bed in the sitting room to sleep a total of 5. A perfect place to stay for couples, friends or families. It looks out onto Market Square but the flat has sound insulation so very quiet. Henley has a number of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and pubs - all on your doorstep and Henley Regatta is walking distance from the apartment.

The Happy Cottage - Central Henley

We had a lovely stay at the Happy cottage. There was on road parking and we managed to get a spot right outside the house. It was small but perfectly formed and was clean and tidy. Lovely finishing touches from Hilary with the fresh milk and scones, jam and clotted cream. We were a family of four (2 adults, 14 yr old & 11 yr old) plus a dog so we used the sofa bed and it was very comfortable, as were the beds. The courtyard was safe and secure which is great when travelling with a pet. Location was great for Henley town centre and there was a shop and pub close by for convenience. We walked to the park just behind the house and had a walk with the dog whilst the 2 kids enjoyed having a go on the zip line (never too old for a play at the park was my 14 year olds opinion 😂). Overall we had a lovely stay (albeit cut short dues to unforeseen circumstances) and would definitely stay again in the future.

Davids place is a great area because it's quiet, reminiscing of my home in Somerset with its views across nearby fields. After going to a family event at the Mill at Sonning just less than a 10 minute walk away it's the perfect spot. David is very kind, helpful and friendly and showed me around his property and how things work. Being vegan I had already explained and he even left a bowl out for me in the morning. I would love to stay again, even if it was to visit David and learn and share about permaculture and the nearby orchard group. I would love to visit again

I cannot recommend a stay here enough. Helen was welcoming and friendly and always available for any advice on local events and walks. The apartment is beautifully laid out and spacious with everything you need. The surrounding area is gorgeous with a fantastic view from the kitchen to fields with horses. It really is tranquil and peaceful. A short walk to the local pub and another very good pub in the village make this a great location.
