This 575 SF loft features 16 foot tall ceilings, huge windows, and has amazingly married the aesthetics of a 130 year old building with the modern finishes today`s travelers desire.
This Loft has a queen size bed in the bedroom with a Casper Mattress and a Queen Joybird sleeper sofa in the living area. Comfortably will sleep up to 4 guests.

This 130 year old building has been newly renovated and brought back to life with amazing modern features and designs, while preserving its beautiful history and charm! From custom furniture by local craftsmen to commissioned art pieces, we have gone overboard to make sure our guests have a world-class experience during their stay in Nashville.

The Monkey Bar Loft pays homage to the food counter located at Harvey`s Department Store that existed at 506 Church Street from the 1940s to the 1980s. The food counter was called the Monkey Bar due to the fact that live monkeys were at the bar. We cannot make this stuff up.

Prior to your arrival, you will receive a unique keypad code that will serve as your keys to the property. This code will unlock the main door to the building, your unit, as well as the stairwell door and elevator.

This loft has a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. We supply an ample amount of lush towels, shampoo, and body wash. The loft shares a washer and dryer with one other unit that is free to use. You are welcomed with a basket of local goodies, and a book with our recommendations for local restaurants, coffee shops and places to visit is provided.

The MTA (Metro Transit Authority) Buses
run all over Metro Nashvilie and even some
surrounding counties. Very reasonable fares
and the wide range of routes make the bus
a cheap and easily navigable choice for
visitors. The Music City Circuit route is free
and inciudes many stops along key points of

As soon as you step foot in Nashville, you`ll notice that the skyline is peppered with cranes and other signs of the booming construction that is happening. You may occasionally be able to hear some noise from construction in the city but it has not been a major complaint from any of our guests so far. We actually hear from most guests that our location is very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle but we try to disclose any possible issue before hand! We know that some folks are lighter sleepers and may be more easily bothered by regular city sounds so this unit has a sound machine and plenty of ear plugs just in case. We are also neighbors to a very hip and elegant cigar bar called Blend. They have a full bar and sell amazing cigars! The smell is occasionally noticeable in the halls, almost never in the rooms, and is rarely an issue with guests but we wanted to address it just to be safe! Also, you may read some old reviews where guests have been able to hear other guests above them. We are happy to report that our contractor installed 6 inches of premium grade sound batting in August 2017 and the issue is now hopefully non-existent. We have not gotten a complaint since!

Although there is no on-site parking, there is a wide array of affordable parking extremely close to the building. Upon booking your stay, we will send you a detailed parking guide so you have no problem getting to the building or finding somewhere to park!

Because the weekends tend to be our most popular time, we require Friday and Saturday nights to be booked in the same reservation unless the reservation is for 5 nights or longer. Under certain scenarios we can make exceptions to this, so please ask if you are looking to check in or out on Saturday! We have this rule due to the fact that it makes the other weekend night almost impossible to book if we split it up. Also, we require a 3 night minimum on the weekends. If you require fewer nights, please send us a request to see if we can make an exception.
