Discover 'Sunshine Retreat', a magnificent 42' x 16' luxury lodge nestled within the prestigious 5-star Hoburne Bashley Park. Designed for those precious moments of relaxation, this spacious two-bedroom retreat is your perfect escape to unwind in ultimate comfort and style.
This self-catering lodge is well equipped to ensure a flawless stay. The gourmet kitchen boasts a fridge/freezer, a 5-burner gas hob with a double gas oven, toaster, kettle, slimline dishwasher and a washer/dryer. For your convenience, we also provide a
combi microwave, a Dulce Gusto coffee machine (with initial pods) and even an air fryer – truly a home-away-from-home experience!
The lodge's open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is a bright and airy sanctuary, immediately filling you with a sense of happiness and holiday spirit.
The lounge, bathed in natural light from large patio doors leading to the decking, offers an abundance of seating with a large corner sofa and two single armchairs. The dining table comfortably seats four, complemented by a breakfast bar with three stools, providing ample space for everything from a quick coffee to a lavish gourmet dinner.
'Sunshine Retreat' comfortably sleeps four guests in two beautifully appointed bedrooms. The bright and airy master bedroom features a king-size bed, a triple wardrobe, dressing table and drawers. The second bedroom offers two 6' x 2'6" ft single beds, along with a double wardrobe and drawers, ensuring plenty of space for all your holiday attire.
You’ll find two luxurious bathrooms in the lodge. The en-suite to the master bedroom boasts an extra-large shower cubicle, toilet, basin and ample storage for your toiletries. The family bathroom, conveniently located along the hallway, features a bath with an overhead shower, WC, basin and generous storage, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration.
For your added comfort, we provide essentials such as a hairdryer, iron, ironing board and clothes drying rack. All bedding is provided and made up for your arrival, along with bath towels, a hand towel per bathroom, bath mats, a tea towel, and oven gloves. (Please remember to bring your own beach/pool towels, and note that we do not supply cots or high chairs, but you are welcome to bring your own, there is plenty of space).
The lodge is fully double glazed with central heating, ensuring your comfort throughout your stay.

You will have full use of the luxurious lodge plus the 2 parking spaces adjacent. You will also have full use of the on site leisure facilities once you have paid for the leisure passes - this is done through Unrivalled Holiday Homes who look after our home for us. You will be sent further information after booking.
Other things to note
This property is privately owned but the owners have enlisted the help of Sue Williams of Unrivalled Holiday Homes to manage their bookings & property for them. All correspondence will be dealt with by Sue.
Once you have made your booking you will be asked for your email address in order to be sent further information. This information includes a booking form asking for personal details in order to apply to Hoburne (owner of the site) for the leisure & car parking passes, as required by them for all guests staying on their sites. It will also provide all the information on the costs and payment requirements for the leisure passes which are dealt with by Sue of Unrivalled Holiday Homes.
The leisure passes cost £66 for up to 6 guests for up to 7 nights. Payment will be made directly to Sue of Unrivalled Holiday Homes who then applies for the passes for you as our guests. We require at least 1 weeks’ notice to process the passes which will be available for you to collect from reception on your arrival.
The dog fee is £30 per dog per trip. You will see the fee for one dog on your booking costings breakdown and will be sent a separate payment request for the second dog fee of £30 after you've made your booking.
Pet friendly, two small/medium dogs are permitted and must be included in your booking.
Pet friendly features and amenities: -
• It can be difficult to find luxury accommodation that accepts well behaved dogs, but we believe the two need not necessarily be mutually exclusive!
• A dog is ‘family’ too and subject to our House rules, a well behaved dog is welcome to join you for your stay in Forest Lookout, Hoburne Bashley. That is why we have made sure they can enjoy your holiday with you, they do not miss the fun, and you do not miss them!
Registered guide and hearing dogs belonging to those with visual and hearing impairments are welcome to stay without charge.
• We pride ourselves on the quality and cleanliness of our ‘home from home’ holiday home and have high cleaning standards so that all guests (with or without dogs) can equally enjoy staying in our holiday home.
• Your dog will enjoy a small doggy treat provided as part of our welcome pack for guests on arrival.
• We are perfectly positioned for country, coastal or forest walks, so you will never be short of places to burn off some energy and get some exercise, whatever time day it may be! And there is an on-site designated dog exercise area as well.
Prohibited Breeds -
In the interest of guest safety – especially children – and the welfare of other dogs on site, the following breeds of dogs are not allowed. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.
• Breeds classified under the Dangerous Dogs Act: - Pit Bull Terriers, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Braziliero.
• Other prohibited breeds: Rottweilers, Chow Chows, Alaskan Malamutes, Bull Mastiffs, English Bull Terriers, Japanese Akitas.
