The space
The Cowboy Palace is a climate-controlled covered wagon designed to deliver an authentic Western experience without sacrificing modern comforts. Inside you'll find a queen bed, twin cot bunk beds, full private bathroom, kitchenette, dining area, Wi-Fi, and heating and air conditioning. Outside, your private guest area features a whiskey barrel propane fire pit, charcoal grill, outdoor movie projector, string lights, picnic table, cornhole, roping dummy, seasonally heated stock tank pool, and a one-of-a-kind wooden water tower gem sluice with a flowing waterfall. Located on our working cattle ranch, guests enjoy peaceful East Texas sunsets, abundant wildlife, and a memorable ranch experience just minutes from Canton First Monday Trade Days.

Guest access
Guests enjoy exclusive access to the covered wagon, private patio, stock tank pool, gem sluice, fire pit, grilling area, and surrounding guest space. Parking is directly beside the wagon. The remainder of the ranch is private and may be seen from designated guest areas, allowing you to enjoy authentic ranch views while maintaining your privacy.

Other things to note
This is a peaceful country retreat located on an active working cattle ranch. While guest areas are private and separate, you may encounter livestock, wildlife, insects, and natural terrain typical of a rural setting. We encourage guests to remain aware of their surroundings and enjoy the ranch environment responsibly.

Families are welcome. Please note that the property includes open pasture, water features, and outdoor activities that require active supervision of children.

Access to the property is via a dirt road, which may become muddy during periods of heavy rain.

The cowboy pool (stock tank) is seasonally heated, generally November through February. In early spring and fall, water temperature may fluctuate based on weather conditions. It’s designed as a relaxing soak feature, and guests enjoy it at their own discretion.

The gold-panning sluice is a hands-on outdoor experience designed for entertainment and enjoyment.
