Quiet neighborhood near Tanglewood & Jacobs Pillow
Our house is on a quiet dead end street with great hiking trails in the Lee town forest at the end of our street. It is within walking distance to town and the Lee beach. We will be remodeling the kitchen and installing a/c this spring. There is a movie theater and gym in the basement, enclosed porch with a hot tub and open deck overlooking the back yard. Lots of fruit trees to pick from in August. We will be staying local, so if there is anything you need, we will be available. We allow certain pets, but absolutely no cats as I'm severely allergic. There is 3 bedrooms along with a fold out couch in the theater for unexpected guests. We are near Tanglewood and Jacobs Pillow, along with the Lee Outlet Village.
High speed wifi, Dish Network, Netflix, Wii, Game Cube, movie theater, hiking/biking trails nearby, walk to town, walking distance to town, bus lines, Joe's Diner, Laurel Lake. Transportation to/from airports available, rental cars available with advanced notice through Haddad Toyota.
Interaction with Guests
I can interact with guests as little or as much (within reason) as they'd like.
Quiet dead end street, house on a hill. Large back yard & deck.
BRTA & Peter Pan bus stop nearby. There is also a free trolley that runs nearby in the summer. I can pick up and drop off from the airport or train station. Bicycles available as well.
Other Things to Note
Sauna is under construction. I'm hoping to have it functional in the summer of 2015.
Absolutely no smoking or cats in the house. No wild parties. Security deposit required.
The house was pretty much as expected. No pictures were listed of the master bedroom, which has a very comfortable kind size bed. None of the beds have a bedside table which was a little awkward (no place for phone, water, book, kindle, etc).
The hot tub was great. Only problem was that it was not ready when we arrived and Thomas had to come over multiple times during our first few days/nights to get it ready for us.
Sauna was listed, but seemed pretty closed up and was never offered to us, so check ahead of time if this is something that you'd like to use.
The neighborhood is very quiet (we were there over xmas and I think many of the neighbors were away). It's a residential street, but the street eventually ends at a cul de sac, so that limits the traffic. Walking trails in the woods started a short walk down the street. It's a fair distance to downtown Lee (probably 30 min walk) so we didn't attempt that. There are some great places to eat in Lee and we even went to Baja Charlie's twice (per Thomas' recommendation)!
Thomas was very responsive via text during our stay and let us know when he needed to stop by to grab various things.
