Très belle et agréable terrasse avec vue imprenable ! Probablement la plus belle vue d'ailleurs ! Deux chambres très bien, tout s'est bien passé. Merci
The view at Andrea's place in Vernazza was amazing with photo did not even give the whole picture as just are just surrounded by an ocean view. The balcony was very spacious! The only thing we did not take into account was the european heatwave and the long days so we weren't able utilise it because of the western sunset... we could only venture on the balcony after 20h00.
Just two things I was disappointed in. The one was the wireless which should not have been advertised with this apartment as there is no reception either on the balcony or in the apartment. You have to walk down the outside stairs to get a bit of signal. Wireless was an requirement for me as I needed it work emergency work.
The second was the lack of communication from Andrea which up till this day have not responded to my message from two days before we arrived to confirm that everything was in order for our arrival. We were well received by his mother that gave us access to the apartment.
Lastly.. if you go in the summer.. please keep mosquito's in mind.. coming from South Africa we are always prepared with anti mosquito lotion but they still ate us alive B-).. and train for those stairs :D
We enjoyed our stay there :)
i'm glad to read that yoou enjoyed your staying :)
i'm sorry that you were not able to use internet but it was noted in airbnb that in your apartament there wasn't any wifi connection.
So your note is false.
So isn't a false advertise as you sayd.
Please remember to read the info before to make a reservation in any place.
My message of confirm was sent to you on the 8 of May but your first answer is came just 1 day before to check in, on the 8-9 of july..(your check in was in the 10th july)...
I check often the message on airbnb, as you can see in my page
and i'm very sorry if my answer wasn t so prompt this time.
Thank you for your review that will be sure helpful for the future and the next guests.
The photo on th ad does not do the view justice! It is a good hike up uneven stairs to get up there - but the apartment was great.
It was easy to meet with the host and be shown to the apartment.
The apatment its self is small but confortable. We only stayed 1 night as we were touring Italy.
We loved our stay in this apartment. Andrea was a wonderful host and the images do the apartment justice. The view was just as described and we had a great time relaxing on the balcony. The apartment is in a wonderful location in Vernazza as well. The apartment was clean and Andrea made it quite easy to check in and out. We were sad we could only stay one night!
This place was amazing and better than the pictures. It was a good climb but they warn you and pack appropriately. I recommend buying Cinque Terre wine and watching the sunset from the terrace. I was there during full moon and also watched the moon rise. It was easy to check in and I got there early so enjoyed lunch at the restaurant 100m up from the room. This was a great spot close to town and enough away to be away from the crowds. Can't wait to return.
Really enjoyed our short 2 day/night stay in Vernazza. Andrea's apartment was cozy. View from patio is unbelievable. Stairs were a bugger with our bags but worth it.
Thanks Andrea and hope to return to Vernazza sometime.
Andrea was friendly and amenable. He and his mother, Anna Maria, are both sweet people who are also busy working at the restaurant further up the path (also has incredible views). The space is in the bottom of a castle - so it is old and renovated as best as it can be at the top of a mountain. It is not a luxury apartment. The views and sea breeze are incredible. Make sure you are fit enough to haul your stuff up many stairs to the top of Vernazza. Pick up a bottle of wine in town on your up way and you will be set. Good value for the price.
