Five star accommodation. Too quality bed and.furnishings. Immaculate shower room. Welcomed by exotic hens in the beautiful garden entrance. Paula was lovely and her breakfast was a lovely mix of healthy smoothie and lashings of maple syrup on pancakes. Great for Malvern adventure or relaxation x
Paula made us feel very welcome and provided us with all the information we needed in a friendly and informative manner, and suggested some vegetarian friendly restaurants in the area when asked. The annexe was warm, cosy, private, light, clean and had a great shower! Breakfast was brought to our door and was a delight to eat in bed before starting our day. The annexe is a great location for nearby Malvern and Worcestershire.
Thank you Paula, we had a wonderful weekend at the Duckhouse, due in no small part to you and your family. The rooms were clean, light and airy, well fitted and soooo peaceful. Breakfast was lovely , and the Rose on Valentine's Day, was a lovely touch. Thank you also for your advice on the area and for being so flexible on our departure time. Will definitely be our place of choice next time we are in the Malverns!
Everything we required was in place. One night stay to attend the Malvern Show. Location was ideal for us. Duckhouse was smart, clean, warm. Well presented. Nice bedding. Soft towels. Shower area spotless and efficient. Small fridge in room. Hosts were polite and pleasant too. Would recommend. Thank you.
The Duckhouse lived up to its description and reviews. Paula made us feel most welcome, and gave us some handy directions and recommendations for local pubs and restaurants. The bedroom and en-suite were decorated stylishly to a high standard and the breakfasts were first class. The location is ideal for walking on the Malverns. We would love to visit again if we are in the area. Thank you so much Paula for your hospitality.
About the Host, Paula
I am married to Lawrence and have two children, a dog, ducks and hens. We live in a beautiful part of the World which I am sure you will love as much as we do.
Whilst Lawrence and our son are technology mad, my daughter is a keen musician and I am never happier than when I'm tending the kitchen garden or baking.
We love walking over the fields and being surrounded by wildlife. We always have food out for the birds and living on the edge of a woodland are frequently visited by nuthatches, woodpeckers, the odd treecreeper and jay and the usual array of garden birds in abundance! Buzzards are a common sight in this area along with sparrow hawks.
We are all very keen skiers and have visited the Alps many times both in the winter and for summer hiking and mountain biking holidays.
