A cute cabin that is nestled in the woods yet only 10 minutes to town!

The space
Are you looking for a peaceful setting to unwind or explore a new area? This quaint cabin is nestled in the woods and next to a creek on 16 acres. The front porch is large and hosts two rocking chairs and bench to enjoy the scenery. Inside, the eat-in kitchen seats 6 and is open to the living room with vaulted ceilings. One bedroom is on the main floor, with two twin beds. The upstairs is a loft area with a queen bed. The bathroom is located on the main floor, off the kitchen. There is a patio with outdoor dining table and chairs. About 1 mile down the road is Salt Springs State Park with 14+ trails to hike and explore.

The kitchen is fully stocked to prepare meals or bake. A coffee bar offers a variety of brew methods. A propane BBQ grill is available on the porch.

The fire pit is located directly next to the creek which is a short walk from the cabin. You can see and hear the creek from the front porch. You’re welcome to cross the bridge and walk up and around the property on that side.
There are ample views for star gazing. There is a corn hole set to use in the yard as well as a hammock.

The cabin is professionally cleaned after each guests stay.
Cell service is great for ATT but spotty for Verizon. Fiber internet provided.

You'll have use of the whole cabin, except for a small closet, and the entire garage.

The shed off the driveway (towards road) contains a corn hole set, trash can and campfire wood. Look for sign attached to door.

Roku tv is set up for guests to login in with their information. You submit your check out date.
AC units are located in living room and loft bedroom. Each bedroom has a tower fan as well.

Neighborhood highlights

This is a peaceful, low traffic area. The road is unpaved but cars/vans have no issue getting to the cabin. There are only a few other houses on the road. You'll be surrounded by trees and yet only 10 minutes to town. Montrose offers a variety of charming restaurants, shops, local eats/drinks/bites, antiques, gift shops and more. Elk Mountain would be about 50 min away. Vestal, NY is 20 min away.
