Bierkellers were German cellars used to store beer in the 1800's. Come stay at Ste. Genevieve's Bierkeller apartment nestled below the Dr. Hertich House on Main. Centrally located in the historic district, this subterranean apartment boasts original stone walls, dating back to 1801, which was the original foundation before the Hertich House was constructed! This rustic hideaway has all the amenities including a full private kitchen and coffee bar and a gorgeous outdoor garden with a gas grill.

The space
This is a one bedroom cellar dwelling with a full kitchen, stocked bar (beverages available for purchase), large screen TV with Spectrum cable and soundbar, luxury reclining couches, and much more. Step outside your door to a spacious backyard, patios and a new deluxe grill for cooking out! All this luxury while maintaining an authentic German beer cellar feel! Luxurious queen bed, full bath and laundry facilities. The Beer Cellar and yard is the perfect venue for parties and events as well!

Guest access
Renters have the entire cellar apartment to themselves. You will also have access to the large backyard, patio, and deluxe gas grill. In addition, you can access the Missouri Regional Artists gallery upstairs in the main house and an additional common dining room for your use where breakfast (local baked goods, coffee and tea) will be served each morning and coffee and snacks are available during the day. Beer and wine are available for purchase.
