House was very comfortable, we spent really good time. Location was very central. We'd love to stay for our next trip to Florence. Our homeowner Emiliano was really kind, hospitable person, also her mother too. We're happy for our choice to stay this house. They have wonderful wines!
The best reason to go south of the river, is to stay at Emiliano's amazing apartment! The apartment is in a fantastic location, and right next to an amazing neighbourhood, with great shops, restaurants and places to see. We were met by Emiliano's friend Jinky, who met us in the square as we looked quite lost! She was very kind and showed us everything about the apartment, and even gave us a bottle of wine (which was promptly drank). The apartment is fantastically furnished and our room was a lovely space to relax in. We were bitten by insects whilst we stayed there, but I think you will be fine if you're careful with the window, which has a metal net attached to it. The wine was from a local restaurant which we went to in the first night (Viviana), and the food and service we received was amazing. We tried to book a wine tasting at the restaurant but we were too late! So we're definitely planning a return trip for the wine tasting alone. It's only a short trip over the bridge to see the main sites, but I think staying in Emiliano's neighbourhood is the best. We visited Osteria Giovanni and had a take away from Gusta Pizza as well, which are both recommended. We had a lovely time in Florence in Emiliano's apartment, and would definitely stay there again.
This was a great accommodation with support and advice from a great family who live in the same building. Lots of space and very attractive. The area is close to main attractions in Florence and his close and train 10 minutes walk.

Ciao a tutti!
