This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
Your own private retreat set in the rainforests of Janda Baik with fresh cool air, sound of the stream, chorus of jungle monkeys and the occasional call of the hornbill. It's where you press reset and be at peace. Just a 40 minute drive from KL and 30 minute drive to Genting Highlands.

The space
Our 4 bedroom cozy retreat offers a spacious accommodation with home comfort and enchanting views of the verdant forest. You can spend your hours sitting at the wooden verandah overlooking the lush greens of the rainforest floor, playing in the shallow stream within our property grounds, or gaze at the stars whilst enjoying your barbeque dinner.

King, queen, and super single-sized beds, wooden windows, comfortable duvets, and towels. Full kitchen, refrigerator, coffee maker, oven, pots and pans, rice cooker, steamboat, cutleries, skewers, books, TV, Astro and Wifi. BBQ pit with a large sink. Within a guarded community. Great for family get-togethers or a romantic getaway. Sleeps 15 comfortably. Maximum 20 guests.

Here the activities engage your senses in a different sense. Smell the greens of the forest, listen to the whispers of the evening drizzle, watch for the glide of the hornbill that occasionally visits in the late afternoons, touch the dew drops in the early morning as it slides down the leaves, and taste the pace of slowing down.

You are in the middle of the rainforest. Some find this disturbing, we hope you find it liberating. If you have always wanted to walk away from it all, here's a perfect experience of how it feels.

Guest access
The house is within a 1 acre space that will be solely used by you. You have full access to the house, the facilities and property ground except the caretaker quarters. There is security in the night so you don't have to worry about safety.

Other things to note
Charges of RM120/person/night is applicable for every additional guest above 6 guests, with complimentary breakfast.

The house can comfortably accommodate 10 guests on 7 beds. For additional guests above 10, we provide comfortable single mattresses per guest with full set of pillow, blanket and towel.

Complimentary stay and breakfast for kids 6 years and below based on bed sharing basis with parent. Extra mattress for kids 6 years and below shall be subject to additional charges of RM25/single mattress.

The road front our signboard leading to the main entrance of the house can be steep for some who are not used to it so please drive down carefully. But the 80 year old grandpa of the family has been driving down the slope for many years. You may choose to park down at the house (maximum 4 cars) or along the main road where our signboard is (any number of cars) and walk down.

We encourage bringing you own food supplies to cook/BBQ/steamboat and have fun cooking in our kitchen which is equipped with utensils. Provision shops and stalls selling fresh farm produce are available within a 10 minute drive. Or, you can choose to drive out to experience the many famous Chinese restaurants at Kampong Bukit Tinggi or Malay stalls at Kampung Janda Baik.

We are able to assist in ordering lunch and/or dinner should you just want to stay in, relax and eat!

The retreat is located with private access, in a guarded community of Tanarimba, Janda Baik. The environment provides you with total quietness and tranquillity; and can get chilly at night.

Your inquisitive friends include monkeys, monitor lizards, amazing insects, dragonflies, wild boars and bats. Prepare yourself for their occasional visits during your stay at the retreat.

We are also in close proximity to famous restaurants like Pineyard Cane Janda Baik, Foon Lock, Restoran 126, BBQ Chan and D'Village View in the Bukit Tinggi Village (Kampung Bukit Tinggi).
