Wood-grain tile floors, open plan living/dining/kitchen, original art, and sleek white built-in cabinetry create a spacious feel and extremely comfortable livable space. Thoroughly stocked gourmet kitchen, a small private hardwood deck, and shared yard, in the quiet, highly walkable, upscale, and sought-after Grand Lake area.

The space
The apartment was completely remodeled down to the studs and completed in 2020 so everything is very new. It is apparent that the construction crew paid great attention to the details, everything is very solid and well-built, which adds an element of elegance to the space. Located less than three blocks to the vibrant shopping/dining area on Grand Ave or the Oakland Rose Garden or just a few blocks farther to the equally colorful commercial district on Lakeshore Ave, and to Lake Merritt itself.

Guest access
Entrance to the apartment is through the shared yard. The family upstairs has a separate front entrance from the street and a secondary access to the yard via a (forthcoming) spiral staircase, which will hit the ground about 10 feet away from the private deck associated with this apartment.

Other things to note
The apartment is located beneath a single-family home occupied by a family with 3 small children. There is sound-proofing between the floors that dampens some of the noise. The backyard is shared with the family.
