Check In
  • What a wonderful apartment. The terrace was such a luxury for being in the city. We sunbathed, made breakfast and then went exploring. A perfect balance between in an urban center and secluded on your own rooftop. One note, the first floor seems to hold parties on the weekend until after midnight so if you like to get to sleep early it's better during the week.
    Highly recommended!

  • Great location if you want to be near interesting tree lined neighborhoods, restaurants, galleries and shops and avoid the big commercial tourist areas. The patio is the BEST part of the place (and the Mezcal bar downstairs)!! the hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with.

  • Alex is a terrific host; very friendly, responsive, and helpful. This is our second time staying at the loft on Durango, and will continue coming back because it's amazing. You really can't ask for a better location, and the roof terrace can't be beat. Also - there's a great mezcal bar on the ground floor open on Friday and Saturday nights that shouldn't be missed.

  • Everything about the place was perfect. Even if Alex was not there, he send someone to welcome me. The person make sure everything was ok through my stay at the loft. The place was in perfect condition. Everything you need is there and the terrace is truly heaven on earth hehe. I really recommend that place to make your trip in Mexico City even better. I will surely be back!!!

  • This place is absolutely stunning! I've never slept in such a lovely and unique apartement. The roof terrace is huge and you have a great view over mexico city. The house is very clean and the area safe - you feel at home quite quickly. I would move in immediately. Alex was a great host and the whole check in and check out was super uncomplicated. It's a reason to travel Mexico and highly recommended from my side.

  • My husband and I were first time visitors to Mexico City and we felt very lucky to have chosen to stay in Alex's rooftop apartment. The location is great. You are on a lovely treelined street in Roma one block from Colima street where you can find cafes and upscale dining as well as a grocery store and local clothing boutiques, not to mention amazing street food stands and a fresh juice shop. On the ground floor is a mezcaleria that opens in the evening and provides an intimate, almost like being at a friends house, tasting experience. A few more blocks away and you will hit Pushkin Park with a flea market on the weekends. The Metro station is also just a few blocks walking distance away. The neighborhood feels very safe and the entrance to unit is through a locked shared courtyard. The space itself is minimal in design with an exposed steel frame and exposed OSB / plywood walls. It gives you the feeling of a modern, green, Dwell like penthouse studio. The roof-deck is the real plus. The flowers and plantings along with the canopy of the street trees makes you feel like you are in your own private little garden up there. The doors slide open completely bringing the garden right into the living room. It is really lovely. Overall we could not believe what a great deal this space was and how comfortable we were here. We stayed for 7 days and we not hesitate to stay here again on our next trip to Mexico City. On another note, the shower was always hot and we were very happy with the wi-fi service in the unit. Checking in and out was extremely easy and the metro card and maps left for us were very helpful. Just a wonderful experience.

  • This was our first stop in Mexico and was a perfect place to start. It is located in a lovely neighbourhood with cafes, restaurants and independent shops nearby.

The loft space was really stylish and practical with everything we needed and the terrace was perfect to relax after a day's exploring.

Many thanks to Alex for ensuring everything was as easy as possible. Mexico City is incredible and we hope to return we would stay at this place at the drop of a hat, that's if it isn't booked up after all the great reviews!
